Very professional shop. Very happy with the service I got and will be going back again.
They could have easily of charged me more as they estimated me on the wrong type of oil. They stuck to their estimate which went a long way in earning my trust.

Take your vehicles here. Don't even bother looking for another shop, you won't be disappointed.
This is the best auto shop I think I have ever dealt with (and I REALLY like my local mechanic). My kids and I were on vacation when we had car troubles. After basically being turned away by the dealership we wound up at O'reilly's to replace some parts and hopefully fix it myself. When that didn't work the guy at O'reilly's suggested Ron's. Since I was in a bad way I decided to risk it, and it was AMAZING. When I first pulled up and explained my problem Ron told me what to try to fix it myself and then bring it back if that didn't work. Well that didn't work so it was back to Ron's. They spent half the day diagnosing my problem, to include replacing parts until they figured out my problem. Then they let me decide how to proceed, since it's about 4x as expensive to fix in California compared to going to a state with sane emissions standards. They didn't sugar coat it, they didn't force me to spend $2400 to fix my problem when I can get it cheaper elsewhere, and I couldn't be happier.
Ron worked for Ford for years, and is a wealth of knowledge and information. He gave me such a good deal for the amount of time and work they did that I still can't believe it. I actually tried to pay him more than he charged just to thank them for their help and support and he wouldn't take it. I almost wish I lived here so I could take all my cars to them. Everyone there felt like family, that can give you honest advice and fix anything. I could go on and on, but I'd rather stop and say that you need to take your cars to Ron's. Stop reading this and go get your car fixed at Ron's.

I've been coming to Villa Park Shell for several years now for all my automotive repair needs on my 3 cars. Robert (the lead mechanic) is the most honest and trustworthy mechanic I've ever used.
I brought my vehicle in for a strange starting issue. He could've easily done repairs not necessary but he didn't. I highly recommend this shop based on their honesty and very competitive prices. Much less expensive that the dealer and better quality work!
