Armen is very knowledgeable about SAABs and it shows.You can go here with any problem and have full faith they will solve it. If my car ever breaks down again, I would not take it anywhere else. The prices are fair, he works with your schedule, and the best part the professionalism. They are honest, hardworking, and stand behind what they do.

Armen and his team ( and formerly Ross, may he rest in peace) have been taking care of my cars here for 4 years, and I can't say enough about their great care and service. Whenever I call or stop by, with problems ranging from a burned out headlight to a major repair, they are immediately, kindly responsive and helpful; and they keep an eye on all my service needs, without over-doing any repairs or services. I've been in a pinch a few times (flat tire, problem just before a long car trip, sudden break down) and they've helped me through with no hesitation. Thanks guys!

I have a Saab 9-3 from 2003 and I wouldn't trust it with any other mechanic in the area. I love this place, the costumer service is great and they specialized in Saabs and Volvo. It is rare to leave a mechanic without having the unsettling feeling that you have been scammed and overcharged somehow. The prices are great (Specially if you compare it to Saab dealer of the area) and the owner (Armen) will do his best to get you the best price available on the pieces. A couple times he gave me an estimate for the work and then he called me to tell me that it was going to be cheaper than he expected because he was able to rescue one of the parts that I already had in the car. When was the last time you got a call from your mechanic to ask you for less money?! Anyways, I really trust these guys, I feel happy with the work and especially very safe in the car when I leave. I highly recommend them!

Since moving to Boston I had difficulty finding an auto repair shop that I felt comfortable taking my 2006 Volvo S40 to. So I turned to Yelp and found Swedish Motors. I had a little difficulty finding the place because it is hidden in a little ally but Armen was nice enough to guide me there on the phone. My car needed its 60,000 mile tune up and he was very good about getting the job done quickly. When I came to pick up my car I was pleasantly surprised that he had washed my car! Not many small auto repair places take the time to do that. I definitely plan on returning for all of my future oil changes and car needs. He's a very nice, hard working, honest guy and that's exactly what is hard to find in a big city like Boston.

This merged with RPM Automotive (which was a fantastic operation) but the guy who runs Swedish Motors charges a fortune until he actually finds the right thing to fix. We spent about $1,000 on exhaust and still had problems. When we tried to discuss it with the owner, he just kept shrugging his shoulders. Avoid.

Hooked my car up to the diagnostic computer and wouldn't accept payment "because I didn't do any work." The Saab dealer claimed this same service took an hour's labor @ $120! Glad I found an honest mechanic to service my car.

I will definitely go to Armen at Swedish Motors next time my 1995 Volvo needs attention. He was honest and got my car running more quickly than I expected. He explained all the work he did and gave me the old parts he replaced. Armen was good enough to do a few small things without charge, e.g. replace a missing lug nut and install new bulbs. The shop was a little difficult to find the first time, need to use Naples Road to get to the back of 1090 Comm. Ave.

We brought in our 1996 Volvo after reading yelp reviews of Swedish motors - how great to find a mechanic who deals primarily with Volvos! Even better that Armen was careful and conscientious with his diagnosis, took pains to find us good deals on used parts, and explained everything very patiently. When we picked up our car, Armen brought out a box of parts that he'd replaced - when he said our brake lines looked scary he definitely was telling the truth!! We appreciated that he took the time to show us exactly what he'd done. Thanks!!

Being new to Boston, I went to Armen based on the Yelp reviews, and they were spot on. He's everything you're looking for in a mechanic - efficient, honest, conscientious and knowledgable. I know my V70 is in good hands. He replaced my transmission for half the cost that other places were quoting me. He let's you know what needs fixing and what doesn't. If you think maybe you're paying too much to the sweet-talking Volvo dealers, go see Armen. I'm so glad I found his shop.

When I moved back to the Boston area, I used to have to drive an hour west to the dealer to get something as simple as an oil change because I could not find any reliable place near me.. I was doing this for almost 10years! My friend, who has the same make car as I do used to have a Volvo she would bring to Armen, and then asked if she could bring her new car (non Swedish) to the same location. I took her advice, and could not be happier. Armen's work is exceptional! He and his staff are friendly, courteous and fair. He always has a flexible schedule to work around, and I'll save anywhere from $20-$50 each time I bring my car in. I highly recommend Swedish Motors, and the location is very convenient.

I have been a client of Armen's for many years. He keeps my Volvo purring. He's very knowledgeable and can usually tell what's wrong with the car by just driving it around the block. Mechanics like him are very hard to find. I've had my car for 11 years and was not able to get issues properly resolved until I found Armen.

I have had my Saab 9-3 Viggen for over a decade, and always struggled to find a mechanic I trust. A friend recommended Swedish Motors recently, and I wish it happened 10 years ago. After my first visit, I knew I trusted these guys, the personalities and knowledge was perfect. After a number of visits, I am writing a review because they have really proved it. They have taken care of me and my car with the attention and kind of customer treatment you dream of. TOP NOTCH. Customer for life.

These guys are awesome!! I've taken my Saab 9000 here a few times now and never been disappointed. They are reliable, honest, and the work they do is fantastic! Armen is such a great guy and the customer service here is truly unmatched. I wouldn't trust my Saab to any other mechanics in Boston.

We've taken our cars to Swedish Motors for years and we are always completely satisfied with work and service. Armen goes out of his way to take care of us, and when we tell our friends about his service they can't believe it. Always reliable and prices very competitive. Car runs great when we get it back. Even if you have a mechanic you really love, you should consider switching. If you're at all unhappy with the service you're getting now, you should definitely check him out. You won't be sorry.
