I have come here a few times for a smog test and have always had a positive experience. The gentleman appears to be a one-man-show but the wait is not very long and he is very pleasant. His prices are very reasonable and it feels good to give your business to a small business owner rather than a large chain.

Absolutely awful. The owner is a very nice guy, but he's also highly incompetent. He was so uneducated about his own job, that he asked me to help him Google what oil filter to use. Quoted me 30 minutes, but a simple oil change took him closer to 90.
At the end, when he left the oil change light on, he couldn't tell me how to turn it off. I had to figure it out for myself.
Nice guy, very friendly, but very stupid.

Had a great experience. The man there is super friendly and efficient. I will definitely be coming here every time I need to get the smog done on my car, and I have already recommended this place to my family :)

gentle oil change the old fashion way, in a grease pit. in between smog tests, you can tell that this guy really knows how to build repeat customers. the oak paneling in the waiting area indoors is not to be missed, and the outdoor garden makes the most of a breezy morning. but most of all, it's an all around pleasant oil change and smog place close to downtown, you can walk to Macy's or the theatre across the street.

the owner is a really cool guy but the best part is if your smog check fails he does not charge you i repeat IF SMOG TEST FAILS, NO CHARGE!! i am really glad i came here since i replaced my battery and when you do that it takes some miles in the city and freeway for your cars computer to be able to test it for smog i did not know this, so i am glad i came here because it did not pass twice!!! and he didn't charge me until it passed it's $50 for the smog test but dude you cannot pass on that none charge if no pass, other places charge you fail or pass

I concur with the other reviewer. I find this business to be honest and dependable. When my truck didn't pass a smog test recently, I was recommended to a repair shop with whom they do business. It was a first-rate recommendation. The repair shop got me right in and made the repair the same day -- and for a very reasonable price.

Very Honest Technician And Dependable Smog Shop . He Answers All Your Questions And Gives You An Idea About The Test And Problem If There Was Any . The Best Part Is That He Doesn't Charge When a 2000 & Up Vehicle Doesn't Pass The Smog , And Free Re-Test To 1999 & Older Vehicles . It Is The Best Deal In The Town .
