This was beyond one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had ANYWHERE.
But that's customer service.
Auto service not so much.

I don't normally take the time to write reviews but I had to share my recent experience with Champ's Tire and Service on Barrett Parkway. Earlier this week I was rushing to get to an appointment and unfortunately did not allow my garage door to go all the way up before putting my truck in reverse and stepping on the gas. So guess what...I slammed into my garage door and tore the spoiler off the back of my truck. I was DEVASTATED!!! I was in the Kennesaw area that day and needed an oil change and saw the Champ's Tire and Service sign from the street. I thought I would be there 15-20 minutes for the oil change and the Manager inquired about my missing spoiler. I told him what happened and he said "we can actually fix that if you can spare another 45 minutes or so". I was a bit nervous because I drive a Lexus SUV and had plans on taking it to the dealership. They fixed my truck and made it look like nothing had every happened. I was completely shocked. Their staff was so nice and just reassured me that I was in good hands and they would not take on something that they could not handle. As a woman that made me feel good because often times auto repair shops take advantage of women. Champ's has a new customer and that is me. If you live in the Kennesaw area and need any service on your vehicle, give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

These people are great! My car's tire blew a few blocks away and I didn't have a spare so I had to walk with my child to the closest tire place which happened to be Champs, they not only went to where my car was and fix my tire, they even brought my car over to me so I wouldn't have to walk back in the heat. I will definitely be returning to this place.

They overfilled my engine oil by 1.5 quarts! I have been very weary of oil change services so I started doing them myself. I noticed on the dipstick, the oil was up past the H mark by an inch. I drained the oil into my measuring pan and it drained a gallon (5qt) when my engine specifies 3.5qt with filter. Over filling an engine can cause seals to blow out and cause engine damage and costly repairs down the road. Always make sure the oil stops at the H on your dipstick. If its over, have them change it immediately and charge you appropriately for I got charged for a whole gallon!

NEVER WILL I EVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE, YOU DO NOT JUST TREAT PEOPLE WITH SO MUCH DISRESPECT, YOU DON'T HARASS PEOPLE! Absolutely the most terrible, God awful, with out a doubt absolute worse service I have EVER come across in my entire life! I went in for a standard oil change, when I got back in my car the radio was off (shook it off, that's pretty normal when getting work done on it) turn it on, its on AM instead of FM (no problem, accidentally hit the button), switch it to FM, all my presets are gone (hmm, that's a little weird...that only happens when messing with the electricity or unplugging the battery...no problem, i'll just preset them again), drive 5 minutes down the road the radio completely dies, turn the car on and off, nothing. There were other things that also showed proof that somebody did something. I drive back to the shop and explain what's going, the guy at the front desk (I think his name was Jason), treats me like trash, saying that I'm making everything up and that they didn't touch the radio (sorry, but you were at the desk the whole time, you don't have a clue what happened!), he calls the guy that did the oil change to go check my car again. He tells me, he didn't touch it that the radio was already off when he got in it. LIE #1! I even remember the station I left it on. He's working on it when Jason comes out towards me and proceeds to treat me like trash,"Even if we did change the station, it doesn't cause the radio to go out. Have you never changed your own station? Did your radio go out? It didn't, did it? I don't know you, I don't know your car, you could have always had problems with it and now you're trying to bring it back to me. Your car is the 1 that has problems. I don't know what you expect for us to do. We didn't touch it, we didn't put it on FM, the radio was off and not working when you brought it in." ALL of this while standing 1 foot away from me, raising his voice. Are you serious?! You NEVER even saw the car!
