If you are driving around the Malvern area and your car suddenly develops a problem, do not panic! Competent, cheerful, and prompt auto repair service is nearby. Today, I was out running errands in when suddenly something blew out in my exhaust system. I remembered seeing King Street Auto Repair as they're across from the new Kimberton Foods Market. I pulled in and talked with Karen in the office. In less than 3 minutes my car was up on a rack and Troy, the owner, was pointing out the problem to me. Mentally, I had been calculating the cost and hassle of buying a new exhaust assembly and paying for labor and a car rental for at least a day. Troy immediately dispelled those gloomy calculations when he said he had on hand the specific part that was needed and that he could bolt it on within 90 minutes, and for a very decent price. I accepted and then was floored when Karen volunteered to drive me to the Wegman's in Malvern where I was supposed to meet a friend for lunch. She dropped me at curbside and then offered to pick me up and bring me back to the shop after my lunch date! My friend drove me back to the shop where I was relieved to seemy car sitting out front all good to go. I gratefully settled with Troy and with profuse thank-yous- drove away vowing to Yelp out their praises to the world. So, now you know.

Great service with an unwavering focus on safety and customer satisfaction. When parts for my vehicle arrived late in the day from the parts house, they stayed late in order to get the repairs completed and get me back on the road.

I had been recommended to them by my colleague at work. I've been getting my oil change done at their facility for a year now and unlike other repair shops, they have never asked me to get extra 'repairs' or 'tuneups' done other than the ones recommended by the manufacturer. Also, they have told me what's actually necessary and what could wait if I wanted it to and, hence, never been forceful about it. Other places scare you but not them! The icing on the cake (which made me write this review) was that a few weeks ago, I started hearing a strange noise in my car. These folks diagnosed the problem to the transmission and that I would have to replace it eventually. Since this was going to be costly, they recommended that I contact my local dealer to find if the car is covered by warranty and if not, if I find it too expensive, to ride the transmission out and get it fixed when I hear the noise getting worse or the car feels heavy. They assured me that my safety would not be comprised. Also, since I was facing huge costs, they told me that they wouldn't charge for the diagnosis they just did! I called my local dealer and found that my transmission was covered under warranty (phew!). These guys saved me a bunch of money! I'm not sure if other repair guys would do the same. I highly recommend that you go here if you want your car running at 100% and are looking to spend the least amount of $$$.
