Had a really bad experience! Filing complain about this place.i was totally riptide off.1,600.down the drain.car wasn't any better than when I brought it in.refused to release it to tow truck driver even after the bill was pd.
Wouldn't let me take my parts.also filed for a loan,in my name without my knowledge.
Avoid this place has a Friend rating w/Bbb.

I had a second engine, radiator, and transmission put in by AT.
I paid for the extended warranty. Less than a week when I got the car back the engine kept vibrating and having trouble. It had to be towed back in. There was a problem with it and it had a leak. AT said he didn't feel the vibration in the car but myself and everyone at work said they noticed it too.
AT said it just needed a brand new turbo and nothing else was wrong.
Took it to the Volvo dealer and ran a 155 dollar diagnostic and behold... They said it was due to the coil that was in the car and I had a misfire in the engine, there was a leak in the transmission, and I needed a turbo, but the turbo only caused the oil consumption and not that huge vibration.
AT is now blaming the transmission leak that he couldn't originally find on my axle now and wants money to replace the coil. The Volvo mechanics told me that he should have reasonably foreseen all of this ahead of time. AT assured me that the car would be running like new, but instead, he took my money. I had asked to give back the parts in exchange for my money and he said there was no way the place that has my warranty would be willing to do that.
Take your car to professional dealership. It can save you a lot of headache and time. Also, AT has a sign up in his office that states he will give you a discount on your bill for a good review.
I have a feeling this will all end in court. All I want, is my money back.
AT couldn't figure out what was really wrong with my car unless I had to pay another mechanic to figure it out.
Best part is that Ferndale PD had to come out to get my car back due to his threats. This guy is back at it several months later. What a deadbeat.

so i called first 9am. ask could they give an estimate my vehicle for a gasoline leak for my friends car. they said bring it on in well check it for free .and i ask too. free. drive all the way there. told him he said free. he pretended not to have spoken to me. said would take 20 min to check it out? came back 5 min later said now you know it's a $47.99 charge. what the hell. pure bullshit. lier lier pants be on fire!!!! march 28 2016 .10 am

I went to get my car repaired here and he overcharged me when went to the official Mercedes dealership it was cheaper this guy is a rip off !! Owners beware . He had a gun on the counter which made me feel really really uncomfortable .

Tried to charge me over $300 to replace mass airflow sensor. $200 for the part and a little over $100 for labor. While in the shop I looked up mass airflow sensors online and found 3 new ones from autozone for under $90 and two of them being $67. Why were they trying to charge me $200 for a $67 part? Then looked on YouTube and it takes approximately 20 minutes to do the work. $100+ for 20 minutes! I don't think so. They smile in your face and act like your friend but at the end of they day they don't care about you or your car, just the money they can get out of you.

Although me and AT got into a heated argument because he wouldn't show me that he fixed my vehicle when i didnt believe him, he got the job done. He worked with me and now im back on the road... i have a hard time trusting mechanics and i still give him the side eye but overall he did a good job

Horrible service all around Unprofessional and disrespectful owner Over priced repairs/diagnostics Shady mechanics No lot space Car broke down wanted to charge me $250 to replace starter which I got myself for $50 just to add not $150. Returned 3 separate occasions with parts and was told they were wrong and didnt fit onto my vehicle. In my honest opinion he wanted to use his parts from who ever and charge me an astronomical price to make a profit! Then I was told that they were going to install theyre own parts and charge me full price for parts and labor which wasnt happening on my watch. Finally I came back to the shop and had my van towed away obviously a $100 later of coarse with no service I may add and without it being fixed or driveable! And to make matters worst I come to find out that the tow people who picked up my car after waiting a hour for them to come them and the mechanics were friends/family members/siblings or what ever smh so disgusted with Amazin Auto they ARE NOT AMAZING' BY A MILE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHADY REPAIR SHOP TO ANYONE!!!!! EVEN IF YOUR CAR WAS ON FIRE &, THIS WAS THE LAST SHOP FOR MILES AND MILES I WOULD ADVISE YOU TO KEEP ON DRIVING PAST AND PROCEED WITH CAUTION IF YOU DO LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE WITH THEM. GO TO A CERTIFIED MECHANIC WITH A DECENT SIZED SHOP AND HAS GOOD REPORT AND STANDINGS WITH ITS CUSTOMERS & THE COMMUNITY AND NOT A SHOP ATTACHED TO A GAS STATION!!!! NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE, TIME, OR MONEY Ps took my car to my trusted mechanic at we care auto on michigan ave in Ypsilanti MI 48198 where Tony is the owner and the best mechanic EVER I may add! He replaced my starter with a BRAND NEW starter and diagnosed a few other issues with my van free of charge with labor included the total was $80 bucks. Amazing Auto is a rip off and have con artist for mechanics and the devil himself as the owner
