We are new to the area and needed some repairs done to Mercedes Benz. They got us in right away and fixed our car quickly. Everyone I spoke to at this shop was courteous and friendly. I am not car repair savvy and everything was explained to me. Being a woman, I sometimes feel taken advantage of when it comes to car repairs. It was not the case here. I feel like I was treated fairly and with kindness. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Joe and his mechanic did a wonderful job on both my vehicles MB 1988 560SL and the 1993 190E series. I will not deny it is a little pricey but to tell you he does stand behind his word and does a through inspection of the vehicle he repairs. His repair stalls are kept clean and always has cars parked in the service drive and in the back of his shop. For as busy as he is and as much cars that he repairs, that would show that Joe and his wife Marilyn knows how to run their business and maintain a good repore with their customers. Thank you Joe for doing an outstanding job on both my MB vehicles and to Marilyn for maintaining the day to day in the office and informing the customers of their vehicles. I give AUTOHAUS STEBEL 5 stars plus for an outstanding job.

I'm a car guy but changing a real wheel bearing was something I didn't want to do myself on my Mercedes. . I called the 'other' Mercedes independent in El Cajon and got a labor quote of 4 1/2 hours or $600. . that didn't seem quite reasonable. . . .
I then called Joe, he quoted me 2hrs labor / $200. . I had to ask him to check twice but he assured me it was a 2 hour job for him. . . Made an appointment, and my SLK was fixed and back to me that evening. . My car was so happy it was smiling. . and so am I. . . Autohaus Stebel did exactly as Joe said with no hidden charges. . unusual these days as the dealerships always seem to add $20 bucks extra for "shop supplies". .
Side note, My wife asked to use the restroom when we picked up the car. . She was delighted at the cleanliness and condition of the facilities. . all in all a first class friendly family operation. . Big Thanks to Joe

From the front desk to their work shop these folks know what they are doing! They can even do body repair work. After a collision with an animal darting accross the road in front my car, both my front end and (sadly) the animal were toast! The experts at Autohaus fixed my car up like NEW. I also bring my car here for all of my routine maintenance because they are reasonably priced, trustworthy and very customer service oriented. This is the only shop I'll trust to take the best care of my VW Jetta.

This establishment in El Cajon has been around for years. They obviously only do repair work and their specialty is foreign vehicles. You can take your BMW, Mercedes, Fiat, etc here for repairs. Not the best neighborhood but the shop…
