These people are awesome. They're very friendly and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my car. I took my car there for a broken valve stem repair and they fixed my car right up that same day I called. Island Tire left it running better than ever and almost like new!! Amazing!! I highly recommend them and will definitely be back.

Joe at Island tire removed a screw from our tire, and checked the tire. If advised, I would have purchased a tire, but he did not feel it was necessary. Even though I am a senior female from out of state he did not try to take advantage of the situation to make a sale. He checked the tire as soon as I arrived and there was no wait time. It is nice to know there is an honest, dependable service on the island. I highly recommend this business.

A/C on our minivan went out on way to hilton head. After looking at the internet and going to the auto parts store for all kinds of parts for two days of my vacation, I could not get it to blow cold air again.
I took the minivan to island tire this morning. They had it in quick and found a wire that had rubbed up against the engine and blown a fuse. Automotive Geniuses!
I was out of there in an hour for the price of the a/c diagnostic charge! As you can imagine I am super excited about my experience here because we have cold air again! This team was super friendly and really great.

My tire pressure light was on so I brought it in to be checked. Sure enough, there was a nail in my tire. Fairly new tires so I just needed it to be repaired. I thought it was a little pricey - $30 for a flat repair. Waited for it. It took almost an hour and I felt like they forgot I was there, when I got up to find out what was going on I saw my car out front.

While on vacation, apparently I pulled too close to a parking curb at Coligny and later realized a guard was hanging down from the underside of our van. They got us in super quick and got it tied back up and off we went to Frozen Moo!

The staff at Island Tire were wonderful. We are visiting the area from Canada, when my dog passed away last night suddenly,and I woke up to a flat tire. The staff at Island Tire were so helpful when I called them. They ordered me a new tire, worked on my old one and got everything fixed very quickly. Their service was exceptional, and when we discovered the new tire wasn't necessary, there was no charge. Thank you for being awesome in a tough situation. I would definitely recommend your services to anyone.

By far, the best service and nicest people I have ever dealt with! They repaired my car in the same day, went above and beyond what anyone would expect. Island Tire is dedicated to solving the customer's auto problem, even if there is nothing going into their till. I recently had my car serviced there, as I always do, but today discovered my a/c was not working. Kia took the car for a drive, checked under the hood, etc and confirmed my suspicion. However, instead of scheduling a service appointment, he insisted I call the dealership, verify my warranty, and have them do the work. Thank you Island Tire for always putting the customer first.

On the way to the Island from middle of the country this past June, noticed some vibration at 80mph in wife's car and pulling right more than it should. I had rotated tires recently, so I suspected alignment. I took it in as I didn't want to drive back like that. It would have been very easy for the Island tire to charge me full balance, rotate and 4 wheel alignment. They checked one wheel, when it was in balance they just did the 4 wheel alignment. They gave me the before and after data as I requested, right side was out of alignment. Very reasonable price and I was pleased. I do a lot of work on my own cars, I'd go back here any time I'm on the Island.

So I'm one of the happiest people you'll ever meet, and I never leave bad reviews of a place...until now. I called this morning to get my oil changed and tires rotated before the drive home. The guy told me $30-50 total depending on the oil. Great. That's about what I pay everywhere else I've ever gone in my life. They could get me in today but it'll take 1.5 hrs. That's a bit long, but whatever, I'm on vacation and I can kill time at Coligny. So I wandered around Coligny for 3 hours before I started making my way back to the shop. Maybe they entered my cell incorrectly? Btw, they did end up calling me, but it was about 2 mins before I got back to the shop. Then I got the invoice. $92! $36 for oil filter (and I guess oil too). $9 for oil change labor. $8 for an extra quart because my Ford Focus needs that. $6 for a shop supplies fee? And $28 to rotate tires. In total: $52 for parts, $38 for labor, and tax = $92 for an oil change on a Focus!!! And don't forget it took 3+ hours. They looked busy but not swamped and there were tons of mechanics that I saw. I will make sure to never come here again. Hope others have found this helpful and have better experiences than I did. The "maintenance required" warning on my Prius popped on a couple of days before a 10-hour drive home, leaving me to wonder if I should take it to a Toyota dealer in Bluffton. At home, a trip to the dealership can mean hours of waiting, so I thought I'd take a chance on a place more convenient to where I am on HHI. I didn't know Island Tire at all, but am pleased to report that I made at 10 a.m. I appointment for 2 p.m. the same day and was out the door (only an oil change was needed) just over an hour later. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, the staff efficient and courteous and the price was only about 10 percent higher than I would pay with my local guys at home. Kudos to Island for a job well done.
