Where do I start? I could not say enough good things about Rodger and his work!! I had a terrible experience at another shop with getting something on my car fixed. Totally took advantage of me and didn't even fix the problem. I was recommended to Rodger from a friend and I am so thankful I decided to go to him. What cost me over $1200 at Meineke and they didn't even fix the problem and they had my car for 5 days, Rodger had my car fixed in record time! The whole process was 1.5 hours. That's from me getting there, test driving the car, him physically showing me on the code reading what was wrong, ordering the part, getting it delivered, and then fixing it!! So when Meineke robbed me for all that money to not even fix the problem, It turns out it was only a $200 fix.
I have to say my experience here has been the best I have ever had! Being a young female I feel like a lot of places want to get as much money from you as possible and don't treat you with the respect that you deserve. Rodger was there to help me, he treated me like I was family and he wanted me to be driving a safe vehicle. He didn't stir me in the wrong direction. He is truly amazing! I will definitely only be coming here in the future and I will have confidence that I am in good hands!!

My husband brought him our Audi to get an transmission flush and he did not do it. He had our car for three days and their was no call about a leak which it didn't have when we dropped it off to him. The car leaks oil as soon as you start the car. Didn't have a leak until we brought it back home. The whole oil pan is saturated with oil. My suggestion is to go somewhere else!

I was in from out of town for a wedding in Sonoma. I had car trouble on Saturday. I have a Ford Maintenance package plan, but Ford couldn't see me until Monday. I called this place and they answered the phone before they were even open. He looked at my car right away, topped off my break fluid, and checked out my other concerns. He didn't charge me a dime! I was in and out in less than 15min. Thank you so much for your kindness, honesty, and generosity. I highly recommend this place if you have any car needs!

I can't say enough about Rodger and his shop. Not only is he a great mechanic but he is very trustworthy. I bring all of my family's vehicles to him for maintenance and repairs. When I am in need of a repair, I just drop the vehicle off and when I pick it up it's repaired. Simple as that, no additional problems and no up-selling. If Rodger finds other things going on he'll call if it's important, or make a note of it for the next appointment. I refer everyone I know to Rodger and I only hear great feedback.

I love bringing my Subaru STI here. I don't feel comfortable taking it to those creeps over at Prestige Imports.
Rodger and Patricia are fantastic. Rodger always explains what he's doing and saves the old parts for me to examine if I wish. Nothing jinky going on here.
My one complaint is that Rodger's rates have gone up since I first started coming here. Nothing astronomical, just not the cheapest cat in town anymore.
On the bright side, he has saved me literally THOUSANDS of dollars on a story that is too long to tell here, but suffice it to say that Rodger went far above and beyond what most mechanics would have. Thank you!

Don't bring your car here. You'll leave with more problems then you originally had. Brought my car to Rodger for one thing and while that was getting fixed two parts in the car just somehow gave out, when I knew right before I took it in that they worked perfectly fine. I also noticed damage to my car, pointed it out to him and he claimed it wasn't his work on the cheap fix that was done to mask it, but I think otherwise. Overall I felt like I was not treated well as a customer, and I was not getting good service at all.

Roger is about as experienced as they get. I've taken 5 cars to him over several years, including a vintage Porsche and MGB along with newer vehicles. He always is fair, friendly and reasonably priced. I recommed him to all my friends.

I can't recommend Rodger strongly enough. I've driven a 1994 Range Rover for the past 6 years and he's done all the repairs. He fixes what needs fixing, keeps me up on it's maintenance and doesn't gouge me to do more. There's no upselling with Rodger. I drive to his shop from Marin and it's worth it!

Roger is a great mechanic, and a really nice person to work with. No one likes having to spend money on their car, but he makes you feel as good about it as possibly can be. He always lets you know what is going on and sticks to his word. In fact every time I've used his services the prices have come in less than expected. In addition to this his wife has offered to drive me back to Windsor while my car is in the shop. That's service beyond the norm! I definitely believe you will get from Roger the kind of service that only a small family run shop can provide!

Roger has resolved mechanical problems I have had for some time now. He is very intuitive of the mechanic of a variety of automobiles and keeps up on all the latest in auto repair. Thank you Rodger, for being an honest man. I've been in the car business for 22 years and you are a gem sir. I was stranded with a puddle of power steering fluid underneath my car around the corner from your shop. I first nursed it down the street to the closest franchise dealer for my car, where I was told I needed a new pump and hose assembly for $832.00. I knew enough that it sounded like I was getting retailed. I did a quick local search and called Sartorial. It sounded like I'd be in the $300 area for the same repair, if it was actually necessary. I nursed it over there. I popped the hood, he tried a shortcut that almost worked, but in the end, I had to leave the car overnight. He knew I was a 2 hour drive away from home, and that I was going to have to rent a hotel room for the night. He called me at 11:30am the next day, the car was ready. He picked me up at my hotel (!!!) and delivered me a bill for parts, labor, and sales tax for $109.50 !!! The failure was of a $2.60 O-ring. It was that plus an hour of labor, trust me, he spent more time on the car than that. He didn't even try to get me to change the oil or buy an air filter ... If you need your vehicle repaired in the area, you WILL NOT do any better than Rodger.

Mr. Sartorial is a professional and a gentleman. He quoted me 2/3 off the price to do the timing belt on my Kia that my dealer quoted me and got it done in two days. Then, when he heard that I would be riding my bike over to santa rosa to pick up my car, offered to meet me half way at safeway so I wouldn't have to cross the highway and deal with downtown traffic. Good to know that decent mechanics are still out there; I would highly recommend for a friendly, professional and personable tradesman.

Nice job! If you are looking for an auto repair shop look no further. I took my car in for an oil change and brake repair. They were very friendly and have earned my business. If your car needs repair this is the shop.
