I took my car into the dealer to have my AC checked because it was not cooling. The service rep from the dealer told me the compressor needed replacing. The price to replace the compressor would be over $1000.00. My finances would not allow me to pay that much so I decided to bear the heat and drive with the windows down. I decided get a second opinion from Peavy's Garage since I was going right past them on my way home. I didn't tell them what the dealer had quoted. I just told them my AC was not cooling. They checked the AC out and told me I needed Freon and the compressor was fine. When ever I need service, even an oil change, I now go to Peavy's.

Horrible customer service experience. They lied, blamed me for a communication issue, then sent me packing with a windshield that would not pass inspection. I called early in the week to schedule a windshield replacement on a Toyota Rav4. A crack from top corner of passenger side, had spanned 2/3 of the window and was just short of the driver's sight line. I spoke with their office multiple times between getting a quote, their trying to schedule with the 3rd party company that does the actual work and finally scheduling with Peavy's. The work was scheduled for Thursday afternoon... just some time in the afternoon. I arrived at 12:15pm and waited - fortunately the company showed around 2:30pm. My vehicle was moved to the garage and then 10-15 mins later a gentleman came in to tell me I incorrectly told him the windshield was for a Toyota Forerunner. The other company would not be able to do the replacement until Monday. It is possible that all 4 times we spoke I misrepresented the vehicle. It is possible when he heard Rav4, he heard Forerunner and that is what he wrote down. I am inclined to think I know what vehicle I drive and would not call it a Forerunner - either way I don't appreciate their mechanic putting this communication issue solely as my fault. Terrible customer service experience. I declined annoyed. - when they brought my car around for me to leave I found that the crack was now fully across the windshield and directly in my sight line. Where before the crack was smooth and gradual, it was now jagged and complete. I inquired about this with the front office and mechanics who told me they didn't do it and that the windshield repair person had not even touched the vehicle, so "it must have come in like that". I inquired further and pointed out that the stickers had also been moved, they changed their explanation to "they do not know if the repair person had done this" after all. I asked if this was safe to drive and they informed me that it is and vehicles can pass inspection "as long as the crack does not damage the wipers and is not in the sight line of the driver". I pointed out that the crack is in fact in my sight line and they asked me "well what do you expect us to do?" Be honest, be courteous, support your customers? I am annoyed that they did not even realize the crack was across the driver's sight line, did not look at what I was complaining to them about, lied about the repair man not even touching the vehicle and then willing to let me drive the vehicle in this condition. Maybe there was a communication issue... why did they start working on it when it should have been obvious the vehicle was not a Forerunner. I will never use this garage... I advise others from trusting them... I hope they take this as a learning experience - doubt it.

I HAD A NAIL IN MY REAR TIRE I LIVE IN CYPRESS SO I TOOK MY VAN IN TO NTB IN CYPRESS, THEY SAID THAT THE BALL JOINTS ON THE FRONT OF THE VAN WERE BAD I LET THEM CHANGE THEM OUT BIG MISTAKE THE VAN WAS ALL OVER THE ROAD. SO I TOOK IT BACK AND THEY SAID THEY FIX THE PROBLEM IT WAS STILL ALL OVER THE ROAD AND NOW THE BRAKES WERE MAKING A NOISE SO I TOOK THE VAN TO PEAVY'S GARAGE AND THEY SAID THE BRAKES STILL HAD MORE THEN HALF THE PADS LEFT BUT I SHOULD TAKE THE VAN BACK TO THE PLACE WHERE THE BALL JOINTS WHERE DONE. I DID NOT TRUST NTB TO FIX THE VAN RIGHT ANYMORE. SO I HAD KEN AND HIS MECHANICS FIX THE VAN STEERING PROBLEM. NOW A DAYS IT IS A GREAT FEELING TO FIND A HONEST MECHANIC .THANK YOU KEN AND THE GUY'S AT PEAVY'S GARAGE!!
