This place is family owned. It's nice, clean, and cool inside. Very well ran. I has the pleasure of Darrel, and Jose working on my car, not only were they awesome mechanics, I feel they went above, and beyond their jobs making me feel comfortable as to what they were doing to my car. They did a great job, and I look forward to not only bringing any future work I may need done, but referring friends, and family.

DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT GOING ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!!!
Found Velaz Auto on Yelp and decided to give it a try based on the reviews. I have to say, without a doubt, this is by far the best auto shop that I have ever been to. Darrel was awesome. He is extremely knowledgable, courtious and willing to share his wisdom with you. He knew everything about my vehicle and was able to set me straight on many things that others, including my Dealership, had misled me on.

I am so grateful for Darrel and Velaz Automotive! I drove from San Diego to Fontana to visit my Grandmother in the hospital only to park and step into a puddle of coolant from my car. I looked to Yelp to find an auto repair shop close to the hospital. I noticed this shop had great reviews so I went for it.
Mr. Darrel is so nice, knowledgeable, and courteous. No gimmicks. Showed me what my problem was and told me the steps he'd take to fix it. Also, found another problem while fixing the first one and still gave me a good deal for the work and parts.
I wish he was in San Diego because he and Velaz Automotive would definitely be my go-to shop! Thanks so much, Darrel and crew! I appreciate your hard work and helping me out at the last minute.

I took my 2002 Dodge van to Valaz Automotive after reading reviews on Yelp. I figured that with all the good reviews they must be doing something right.I was impressed with the knowledge of the manager Darrell and the experience of one of the mechanics Jose. My vehicle was running very rough and had a check engine light on.After running a diagnostic test I was informed that my vehicle had several issues that were explained to me. I agreed to have the work done and was given a estimate is the cost to repair it.After the work was done I was given a full explanation of all the work that was done and a printout with all the parts and labor that went into my vehicle. My vehicle is running great and would recommend everyone that wants a honest mechanic to take their vehicles here.

Staff was very helpful and kind. I took my car in for a multi point inspection. The brake indicator light was on and I had just bought it the weekend before so I wanted a piece of mind. Everything was done in a timely manner. Darrell showed me what was wrong with my car and explained what needed to be done to my car. Prices are affordable and the staff is honest. They put the customer and their car first. They won't just take your money and tell you things that need to be worked on just to shove money into their pockets. Overall I really liked the place and I will definitely be returning to get my car worked on. I highly recommend this place.

Velaz Automotive is VERY GOOD at what they do! Fast, Efficient, and Professional! I had an oil change done last minute and I was in and out of there SO fast! Darrel the operations manager was so helpful and honest! He and his staff really know their cars. I am going back there for ALL my car needs!

I found velaz through yelp and the reviews are right. I waited a while before I left a review. I've had 2 vehicles worked on for brakes and have referred family to the shop. Darrel is very thorough with explaining work needed. The prices are fair and the work is done well. I would recommend anyone to velaz. I'm glad I finally found my go to shop for automotive repair needs.

I contacted Darrel after reading these reviews and THANK GOD I did! He was very knowledgeable when I told him my Chevy Malibu had VERY LOUD knocking noise coming for the engine. I explained to him the things that could have possibly caused this to happen and he told me what he recommended. I took my car to him the next day and had a complete tear down of the engine and he was able to locate the problem. Not once did he not keep me in the loop on everything that was going on. I ended up getting another engine installed, as well as other work done. Now my car is way more powerful and rides much smoother than the first day I got it!! Thanks Velaz Automotive

Great shop. Went in for shock and struck replacement. Darrell gave me a quote to take home and I was not able to find anyone who beat his price. I appreciate that he stayed past his business hours to finish up my car to have it ready the same day. Would recommend to anyone looking for an honest mechanic.

Car: 2006 Nissan Sentra.
Problem: front brakes worn out/tires screech/car shakes upon braking.
How do I know: I can hear & feel the problems.
Came across Velaz as I was pricing many auto repair shops on Sierra Ave. As soon as I parked my car, I was greeted with a smiling Darrell as he was walking from the garage to the office. He gave me his undivided attention and immediately walked over to my car to give it a visual inspection (note: he didn't sit me down and go over estimates like every other place I went to - this place isn't about money!)
Darrell then gave me his honest opinion as to what the main problems could be. Before throwing out estimates and quotes, he suggested a quick, inexpensive service of the car. Upon checking, a few of the problems were evident and Darrell showed me how each problem contributed to the troubles my car was having. The service is waived if you move forward with repairing.
His honesty was outstanding when he emphasized what was urgent, not so urgent, and not worth fixing at the moment. No hassles, no beating around the bushes, no "oh, you also have xyz wrong here and there." Straight forward business.
Fixed the problems in a convenient time, at the lowest prices from the several shops I visited, and with quality customer care. Our community needs more people like the team here at Velaz. They truly care about the customer.
I will definitely be back for any car troubles, will recommend my family & friends, and hope you, the reader, visit Velaz for any car problems. You will be extremely grateful and on your way!

These guys are top notch honest mechanics. I was having trouble getting my breaks fixed at another business in which they claimed they fixed my breaks but after being there multiple times I still had the same issues. My dad referred me to Velaz as well as many of his friends and co workers and we are all very satisfied customers. They tell you exactly what you need and don't try to sell you anything more than what is necessary. They are very knowledgeable, friendly and they have great prices. I will definitely be recommending them to family and friends.

Very honest, reasonable price and quality of work is excellent. Mr. Velaz explain what's wrong with your car in detail so well that you feel very confident he will do job to the best of his knowledge. I for years to my car to Romero Hyundai dealership off jurupa and found out that I paid for quality work on my vehicle and never received what I paid for.

Was just there yeaturday to fix a oil plug bolt that got destroyed by a local walmart tech!! Under 20 min bolt was out and no damage done!! All other Mechanic shops quot me 75 -100 !!! Got it done here for 21, ill keep coming back,

I had a good experience. Honest people, the manager explains everything to detail of the work done for your car. Never tried to sell me an expensive oil.
