Leo, Junior and the entire staff work very hard to give honest service at a fair price. In these days of unethical business practices and not a single person "knowing" their client base - it's refreshing to work with a family business who cares about their clients. More than once, I've called to get advice about my daughter's car care (she lives down the hill) as a 2nd opinion to something she's been told by a big box repair shop and have always gotten an honest answer. You might pay a little less elsewhere - but are you REALLY getting good service? I appreciate the entire Yerena's staff - keep doing what you're doing!!

Great place to get any car work done, after my 4th time here I've decided to take time and make a review. They're really nice, doesn't get to crowded, beats most prices here in the high desert. Take the extra drive to Hesperia and let them take care of your vehicle how it should be done. A+++ Service.

I normally don't do reviews, I just go based on others. Anywho, this is my second review on Yelp.
Leo Sr. and Leo Jr. are absolute lifesavers. I came in with a broken timing. These people were my first my of coming to, but I took my car to a previous mechanic I've dealt with. The previous mechanic told me it was starter issue that he addressed. Which wasn't the problem. I ended coming out of $300 for something that didn't solve my problem. YERENAS went right to problem and my car was done the same day I brought it in. For those who don't know, a timing belt is a big issue that can cause engine damage. These guys saved my engine and mostly my whole car. And even recommended some stuff that needs to be fixed and to kind of keep my eye on. They're pretty straight forward and stand behind they're word and mostly there work. BIG SHOUT OUT TO YERENAS !! thanks guys

My go-to whenever I need anything done for my car. As a woman who has very little knowledge of cars they always explain to me what exactly is wrong or needs to be done to my car. I drive my car up and down the hill every week so I have put more miles than recommended in short time. Doing so I always want my car up to date and in the best shape. I don't ever feel over charged or take advantage of. Coming here gives me a peace of mind that I won't get stuck on the freeway or in the mountains with no service! Such a great shop he has set up, and always friendly service! I wouldn't know where else to trust to take my car up in the HD if Yerena's wasn't here.

Having a quality and detail oriented mechanic is something that is extremely important to me. I commute 30+ minutes to both school and work and therefore need a reliable vehicle and a reliable mechanic. Leo Junior and Senior provide all of this and more at Yerena's Auto Care.
Everytime I go, my expectations are exceeded and not once have I felt taken advantage of due to my lack of knowledge. They are very clear about what needs to be done, what they recommend be done, and what should be done in the future. Before ever working on my truck, they provided me with a quote, which was nice because I've never had that experience. Usually when you take your vehicle in to a mechanic, they do a bunch of things you don't want, and you're left paying for it all. That is absolutely not the case here. They give you their advice and let you pick and choose what you would like done.
They give me piece of mind knowing that my truck is safe to drive to and from both work and school and for that I'm forever grateful. Thank you Yerena's Auto Care!

They are honest and prices are reasonable. If they see something else wrong with your car they point it out and let you see it ao you dont think they're lying as other shops do. They have offered to take me home if they work will take long and I dont want to wait there. Owned my father and son and they are both friendly and try to save you money if you're on a budget.

Great service & good prices. You feel like you're being taken care of & not ripped off. The staff is super nice & approachable. They gave me choices on my oil which I haven't experienced in the past. If you're not an auto person, they'll help you make your decision based off what's best for you & your car. Leo Jr. is also very attractive. Bringing a ring next time I come lol

These guys are ridiculous. If you drive a high-end car, be prepaid to be taken advantage of. These guys want to charge 3x more worth than what many of the mechanics I know. And what pissed me off the most was that old cockroach said, "When you drive these types of cars, you don't ask for quotes, you just pay up." Well, excise me, sir.

I was traveling from San Diego to Colorado for work and it was a very hot day. About 15 miles outside of Hesperia, there was a fire along the I-15 so traffic was crawling. My vehicle began to overheat and there was a strange sound under the hood. Long story short, I was towed by AAA and the driver recommended Yerena's shop. It was Friday afternoon so he called for me and Junior said to bring it in.
Yerena's Auto is one of a kind and an incredible business due to the father and son that run it, Senior and Junior. Words cannot express how grateful I am for their professionalism, skill set, honesty and practicality. I can tell readers that I plan to drive from San Diego to their shop for comprehensive auto care as well as other non-urgent maintenance items for my vehicle.
Senior and Junior go above and beyond when it comes to quality customer service and excellent knowledge of automotive repair. They stayed at the shop for me way beyond closing time and worked to achieved a solution to the issue. I made the rest of the trip the next day with no problem and 100% confidence in the work Senior had done.
When everything was done I was prepared for a hefty bill, but knew it was my only option so I prepared myself for a huge $. Not only was the bill beyond reasonable for the time and effort they had put into my vehicle, they included a military discount for my DoD status.
Once again, there are not words to summarize how amazing this team and shop is. Check it out yourself, and you will not be disappointed!!

I'm a single mom on a limited income who is very skeptical and afraid of getting ripped off at auto shops.
My cars usually sit in disrepair because I have experienced being overcharged and scammed too many times and I can't bring myself to take my cars in and leave with only a small part of the problems fixed because I was told my problem was bigger than it was and too expensive to fix.
Example, the big Dodge dealership in Victorville, quoted me a certain price for OEM brakes, front and back...yes, they were expensive, but the original brakes lasted over 60,000 miles, so I really wanted to replace them with the same brakes...My car sat in their shop for hours, while I waited in their cafe, finally they came and told me that I needed more than brakes...my rotors were bad...ALL OF THEM??? that's doubtful, especially since the brakes were not that bad yet...they still worked and they were not making noise...they did not show me my problem and after all that time sitting there, I left paying several hundred dollars more than originally quoted...this same dealership worked on my Mom's Chrysler 300, said it was fixed after it was left there for two days, (her car was dying while in drive, even on the freeway!!) They sent her home saying it was fixed, but it died on the way home! She had to bring it back 2 other times, for a total of 3 trips to this big Chrysler, Dodge dealership, each time charging her for services on a job they should have done the first time! I do not trust auto shops!
HOWEVER, I do trust Yerena's. It was not by choice that I brought my car in to them, but I am so glad that I did.
Now understand, I know that there really are huge problems that exist, but to be told your car has bigger problems than it actually does is wrong. This place does not do that.
Yerena's work on your car right out in the open view, they even took me back to show me why I was having the issues I was having. They are amazing!
This shop had the opportunity to really take advantage and charge more than the work that was actually required as I had brought my car in with multiple diagnostic problems...they fixed the problems and told me that many of the diagnostic issues were related, so fixing some, actually fixed them all.
They have fair prices and they are very honest. From here on out, I will be bringing my cars to this shop and I will certainly refer everyone I know simply because there are too many scam shops out there and we all need to look out for each other!
