I recommend A & R Collision and this is why...I live in Whittier and have had to deal with other local shops in the past and have never been %100 satisfied with their work or time frame in which my car was returned. I drive a high-end vehicle (Range Rover) and there have always been long delays in repairs because they could never get my car parts fast enough. So, when my vehicle was vandalized (multiple parts were stolen & my car was badly dented). My brother and mother suggested I take a drive to the city of South Gate to A & R Collision and ask for Rene. Rene had helped them with both their cars in the past and they were extremely satisfied with his work and work ethic.
So, I contacted Rene and he was very accommodating and worked around my schedule so I could bring in my car. He was very personable and reassured me he would do his best to take care of my car and repair all the damage in a timely manner. He walked me through the process and dealt with my insurance company with no problems. The following morning after dropping off my car Rene contacted me to inform me he had already met with my insurance representative and work had already started on my car. Talk about fast! Rene estimated the work would take approximately a week and said I could pick up my car Saturday morning. Worried that my car would not be ready I called a couple of times throughout the week to ask if everything was ok and verified it would still be ready on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. and every time Rene answered, he very was polite and reassured me it would be ready Saturday.
Their shop closes at 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays and I was not able to get there until practically 2:00 p.m. When I contacted Rene to let him know I was going to be late, he was so understanding and never once had an attitude. When I finally arrived I could not believe how good my car looked! It looked brand new! Rene replaced all the parts on my car with Range Rover parts, fixed all the dents, and even fixed a ding that was not originally included. He also detailed my car inside and out! To say he goes above and beyond is an understatement. Not to mention his pricing is AMAZING! It's so hard to find businesses that take pride in their work and really care about their customers. It's no wonder A & R Collision has a 5 star rating; I'd give them 10 stars if I could. Please don't think twice and waste your time with other shops, take you car to Rene you won't regret it. Thank you Rene for being so professional and making my experience such a positive one.

I was involved in an accident where the rear portion of my toyota rav4 vehicle was thrashed and the front portion underwent a minor collision. I thought my car was never going to look the same after any repair modifications. My friend strongly recommended this body shop. I contacted the shop and I was assisted by Rene, he told me to bring my car down to his shop. Upon my arrival, Rene greeted me and began to canvassed my car. He said he could fix it and make it look like the day it left the dealership. He gave me reassurance by telling he would redo my car if I wasn't happy with it. Was not going to give up until I reached the point of elation.
I could not believe it was the same car when I picked it up. He lived up to his words and surpassed all my expectations. He went above and beyond to replace every damaged part with genuine manufacturer parts. He even replaced the parts that needed to be repaired with brand new parts. I was so psyched my car looked new again. If I could give this shop more than five stars, I would at a drop of a hat. They deserve it.

Honestly, I could try my best to explain how exceedingly wonderful this place truly is given the unfortunate circumstances being a victim of a hit and run incident but that still wouldn't do this shop justice!
First, Rene is a true professional! He is the co-owner of the shop along with his father. Rene has excellent communication and guidance through-out the whole process. I have never been into a car accident before so it was a relief to have someone walk me through the whole process and make sure all angeles was covered to have my vehicle looking brand new once again. He genuinely cares about your car as if it was his own. I have an Audi A5 and i told him to take care of my baby and answered your baby is in good hands. And his actions spoke even louder than his words.
Secondly, I was rear-ended on my back right side tire which didn't look good at all. He not alone make sure everything was going to be fixed but fought to have anything else close to the damage to be reparied or brand new. My insurance company was giving him a hard time for him to fight what he knew needed to be done but he fought to make sure his team could do the job they needed to be completed above and beyond. He even drove me to the enterprise to pick up my rental. I then returned to pick up my car after the repairs and was amazed how brand new it looked! A&R brought my baby back to life! I will forever be a lifetime costumer because it's really hard to find great costumer service and a type of team the doest cut corners and fights to have your own baby look brand new once again. This is your shop for repairs, going anywhere else would be a huge mistake.

Couldn't be anymore happy with the way my truck turned out. Guys were extremely professional, and the quality of work was excellent. They even DETAILED my interior before turning over to me.
That's just good old fashion work right there. Hard to come by these days. I highly recommend this shop for anyone looking to do insurance or out of pocket work, as I did. You will not be disappointed.

I had a car accident on 03/09/16 and brought my car into A & R on 03/15/16. In between that time I had a huge headache thinking about all the minor details my car would need after the small accident I had. My passenger front tire was completely damaged and knew other small parts would be as well. Long story short the owner Rene was so amazing to work with!! Since the day I took my car in he understood the problems with my car and took care of it. There was a bit of a hassle with the insurance companies from the person who hit me but regardless Rene was able to take care of it. It's the first time I had a car accident and hopefully the last. I found this shop on Yelp and decided to take a chance since there were so many good write ups given. YES! It's all true. My son's Chevy Cruze had front end damage that needed repair. Pricing was great, the end result was amazing and the timeliness of getting the job done was excellent. Rene knew my son needed his car for prom and went the extra mile to have it ready on time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this shop to anyone who needs their car taken care of. Hopefully, we won't be needing a car repaired soon, but if we do, this is the only place I'm coming to.

The guys at A&R are legit! Someone sideswiped my car and left the scene, after an extensive search for collision repair shops I came across this gem in my very own city. After a call to report the claim and quick call to the guys at A&R we dropped off our car that very afternoon. From that moment forward they dealt directly with the insurance company, it was easy, seamless and quick. The car looks amazing, just as good as when we drove it off the lot. They kept in constant contact with us respects to progress and any additional problems were communicated to us as a courtesy. Amazing work. I had a brand new 2015 Honda Civic and some random driver hit me and then took off. I had to get my car repaired since it is a lease.
I brought it to Rene and he helped me understand the process and worked with my insurance company. My experience was amazing. Repair was done quickly without any hiccups and my car looks like it did when I drove it off the lot the first time.

Hands down best service I've ever received at a repair shop. I would recommend this shop to anyone. As soon as i got there I was taken care of and was offered a ride anywhere i needed to go. Both Rene and his dad are very honest and friendly. They took care of everything, all i had to do was drop off my car and pick it up. Yesterday when i picked up my car i was amazed and surprised to see my car had even gotten waxed.

Car accident + ignorance in automobile work = lost hope. Thankfully, I found A+R through yelp. They understood I couldn't speak on the phone everyday because of work/school compromises so they texted me to update me on the progress. When the day finally came to pick up my car, they had waxed it, put air on my tires, and added windshield washer on my vehicle. I can only hope I don't get into another car accident but if I do I will be contacting these guys again.

I cannot be more than happy to have brought my car here. I was in a car accident and my front bumper and grill was cracked, my hood latch was broken, my lights were cracked, hood out of place with multiple scratches all over my car. I was sure that my car was a total loss, especially because of the year it is. Fortunately I took my car here and Rene and his dad took care of me and my car. My insurance company did not want to pay for new lights, etc. But these guys did everything they could to make sure my car was getting fixed as best as they could! I didn't have to go back and forth with my insurance, Rene took care of all of that for me. Which I appreciate so much, because I wouldn't have had the slightest idea of what to do. It took less than two weeks for my car to be done which I thought was great on account of the damage. When I arrived I was more than amazed! My car has not looked like this since I drive it off the dealership! I could not be more than grateful for these guys. Will definitely be referring all my friends and family here for any body work. They're the best!

I have to say that Rene and A & R Auto Collision are the best. Great customer service and amazing work. They go above and beyond for their customers. The whole experience was so easy with Rene and his shop. I dropped off my car early in the morning and within minutes Rene was telling me what they were going to do and that they would update me along the way. They got my car to me a few days early. Such an easy, hassle free experience, definitely recommending them to friends and family. These guys are total professionals. They go above and beyond and they're all really nice too. You can see by looking around the shop that everything is done correctly and thoroughly. They're efficient. The prices are good too, much better than you'd expect from a place that does such good work.
The repairs they did on my car aren't visible at all. I felt like I was getting into a new car when I picked it up. Rene, the owner, was so helpful, showing me exactly what needed to be replaced, dealing with my insurance company, and helping me figure out what to do.
This is the only place I will go for body work and I would highly recommend them. I wish more businesses where run like A&R.

Went in for a quote on a random Friday morning. My friend raved about the quality of work she had gotten done as well as a friend of hers so I decided to ask for a quote. Rene had a really nice personality and gave me honest feedback. At first I wanted to paint my entire car but Rene suggested not to because it would devalue my vehicle. After I showed him all the destruction to my car he was really sweet and told me it wasn't too bad.... It totally was lol. Anyways, I felt he was really genuine and after our initial conversation, it didn't take too much for me to hand over the keys right away. My car was ready in a week. And I absolutely loved it! He was even able to get my windows tinted for me and washed it! It's like I had a brand new car. My parents loved it and I'm so happy with how everything turned out. Rene was always available via text and was constantly updating me on my car's status. I got referred to this auto body shop through a friend that got his car worked on here. I called Rene, The shop owner when I was in a car accident. He had his tow truck sent over to pick me and my car from the.scene & over to the shop. He gave me a ride to Enterprise and I had a rental car for the entire time my car was being worked on. Thankfully, I had rental coverage on my insurance! :) The shop took care of all the insurance work and made me feel at ease about the whole accident.
I love how my car turned out, it looks so nice & shiny, great paint job..looking better than the day I drive it off the lot!

This review is based on their customer service and not on their work as a body shop. Called to get an estimate of how much to install a rear spoiler for my mustang, the only thing they had to do was drill 3 holes in the trunk and follow the template from the instructions to put it on. The spoiler was already painted, so I called and they told me $250 to put it on!!! That was freaking rediculous. That was more than half of what the wing cost! So I called another competitor in the area, and guess what??? They charged me $60. So guess where I took my business. So for bad service over the phone, they lost a customer.

My car was in an accident on 8/2/2014 I was devastated the car looked totaled to me like it was a complete loss. Called the insurance company and was told to find a auto body shop to send my car too. Haven't never been in an accident before I really didn't no what to do.
Do I just have it towed to any shop? Are they to be trusted? How do I no if hey are a good shop? So many questions not really anyone to ask for help or to help. I turned to Yelp to began my research and came across A&R auto collision.I called and spoke with Rene and let's just say it was the best decision I could have made. All my questions were answered. Me still being an over thinker I still looked around. Finally I called and spoke with Rene again he was very honest with me and even speaking with my fianc and going over the information with him as well. He took care of everything for me. He help push the insurance company to get my car fixed. I had my car towed to them and was told that I was leaving it in good hands. I was also able to meet his father Rene Sr. who was also very friendly and he also reassured me that they would do an excellent job. Rene kept me up to date on everything that was going on with my car. The best part was I was able to call or text him anytime of the day with any questions or concerns. Let me say I am a very picky person and it takes a lot to get me excited. When I dropped my car off to them in my mind it was nothing they could do with it, I thought it was a complete loss, but when I went to pick my car up to 8/30/2014 I fell in love with mustang all over again it looks like a new car. It looks better then it did when I purchased it. Rene and his father Rene Sr have gain a customer for life. I will never take my car anywhere else. This is the best customer service I have had in a long time. They did an amazing job and I'm am truly grateful. I highly recommend them. I had recently scrapped my car against the fence while pulling out of my driveway. I was so upset with myself; it was not a good day. I went to get a few estimates and was shock at the prices I was quoted; it was expensive, in the thousands. Since I am a female I am always very paranoid about any car repair shop, let's face it, they take advantage of women. So, I decided to go to this repair shop based on the Yelp reviews and ladies let me tell you, you will not be disappointed! This was the best experience I've had when dealing with anything that has to do with my car! It's no wonder they have so many great reviews. I was referred to A&R by a friend of mine who I noticed ALWAYS had the nicest body work on his car, i had recently been in two accidents and was dealing with two different insurance companies breathing down my neck and almost forcing me use one of their "contracted shops".
My friend assured me that A&R would take care of everything, sure enough I headed to A&R and I met with the shop owner Rene who was a class act, he told me to simply drop the car off and he would set up the car rental, negotiate with the insurance companies and guaranteed me the work would get done in a timely manner. Sure enough that night I had a rental and less than one week later my car was done and BOTH claims were completed with both insurance companies. Please note, the only calls I got from the insurance companies were them telling me they were sending the checks to get the work done, Rene literally negotiated EVERYTHING.
As for the actual work on the car... It exceeded my expectations, the paint matched perfectly, the paint is smooth and the paint/gloss is completely finished and settled; no air bubbles or weird grooves along the paint, and they even gave me a complete detailing inside and out. My car looks like it came off a dealer lot and I could not be happier, I have found my go to body shop.

I brought my car here just last week after a minor accident, bumper was completely dented and almost falling out of place! The rear bumper was also damaged due to the impact. Not knowing much about Auto shops I found this place due to its great reviews. I found these guys here on Yelp. I really liked how as soon I came in they were able to help me out. I came across A & R through Yelp...since they had so many good reviews I decided to give them a try plus they were really close to my house. I called them late when they were already closed...Rene proceeded to return to the body shop and open it just so I could drop off my car. I thought that was really nice of him and it really demonstrated their great customer service. He gave me a good deal and they fixed my front bumper in no time. They dealt with all the hassles of the insurance well. My car was also pretty dirty when I dropped it off and when I picked it up they washed it and even waxed it for me. I took my 2014 Honda Accord to A&R for a minor bumper hit. As soon as I pulled in the driveway Rene was super helpful and gave me a great quote... After the car was finished my car looked brand new like nothing had happened. I've been to other body shops were the paint jobs don't really match and you can see where work was done to the vehicle. Not here, at A&R they do an excellent professional job. I would totally recommend this body shop to anyone. They'll leave your car looking brand new.

I had my first accident and damaged the rear end of my bumper. I was really concerned on where to take my new Benz to get fixed. Rene was so helpful with all my questions and they matched the color of my car so perfectly well. They replaced my bumper with a new one and I couldn't be more happier, with the end result. Very Professional From Beginning to End. I wanted to take my Mercedes Benz to a great shop, and am very well pleased with A&R Auto Collision. My Mercedes looks better than before!!! I give this business a 5 Star Rating as it deserves! Not only did I get my body work, which was excellently done, he also recommended and transferred my Car to a break specialist! Ok so let me tell you that before I went to A&R I researched 10 places around my area before deciding on going trough them. I am a very picky and precautions person when it comes to choosing a place. So after an elderly lady rear ended me and turned my life upside down, not only was I afraid to drive and was physically injured but I was getting hundredths of calls a day from her insurance company making life suck and if you've been In an accident you know what I'm talking about. But anyways I went to many other auto collision shops first and they where trying to charge me an arm and a leg for other repairs that my car needed which were not caused by my accident. I went to A&R because it was close to me and because of their great reviews on yelp. They totally met my expectations from the time I drove in and dropped off my car till the day I picked up my car. Rene took me to pick up my rental from enterprise and took care of ll of the tedious insurance stuff. They had my car ready at the time promised and gave me the best prices to fix my fender which was not related to my accident ...But wait the best part of it all was that my car looks brand new the paint job is so great that it does not even look like their was anything ever wrong with my baby (kia optima ex 2013. Love Love Love this place. It's now Definitely my go to body shop. Strongly recommend this place, for their great prices, best paint job and amazing customer service.

This place is amazing and I want to recommend this place to everyone that is looking for that family owned shop that gives you great results. My car got hit by a Yukon from behind and my head light was out with some serious damage to my bumper and headlight area. I pulled in the shop after seeing such great reviews on yelp. Upon arriving, I got a great welcome right away. Rene Argueta is a great guy, after I had told him what had happen to me he looked at my papers from my insurance/adjuster. In the first minute he notice that he has worked with my insurance/adjuster before, I felt even better! After talking with Rene about my car he asked me if I had rental insurance which sadly I did not. After letting him know he immediately said, "Would you like a ride anywhere?" and after telling him I lived at least one city away from here he replied, "no worries I can take you where ever you want." I felt so welcomed and almost like family at one point. Rene is very friendly and only wants whats best for his customers. After a week on repairs, I returned excited wondering how my car was going to look. The second I looked at my car, I wanted to jump into the air and huge my car. It looked brand new! I felt like I just bought my car from a VW dealership, I was amazed with the work they put into my car and the paint job. You seriously couldn't even tell I was in an accident. My friends and family now want to send their cars over to see what more amazing things Rene can do for their cars. So go check this place out for yourself and Rene will take care of everything!

By far the best service I've received anywhere. That's including restaurants, hotels, and anywhere else I've been. Rene and his father know what they are doing and take the time to explain what repairs you need and charge a fair cost. No one wants to visit a body shop after an accident but this is the place to go if you're ever involved in one. Thanks guy!!!!
