I had a terrific experience here. Their rates are fair, not the cheapest but certainly not the most pricey. I was looking for someone to swap out aftermarket exhaust system for my R8, and everyone knows that the entire back end of the car has to come out for this mid-engine car. I asked a few places: the dealer is the most expensive. Then there's the specialty audi and Porsche tuners that are reputable in OC and westside, but they are very far away and relatively pricey making this job too time consuming for me. For the couple of specialty places in pasadena, they are either pricey or doesnt feel quite right, like they dont really care for your business. Then I found a place with great service and good rates in SGV but they made me waited 3 weeks and the exhaust is still not up yet....that's when I started yelping and found 11 motors. They are great on so many levels. First as I mentioned, their charge is fair. Secondly they have all the necessary tools and equipment, even does wheel alignments. Their shop is clean and presentable, and perhaps the best of all is the crew. They are friendly, reasonable and just really fun guys to hang with. Dealing with them is like dealing with a group of friends, and they are all car enthusiast with their track cars parked on site. I think they are also the pit crew for some professional drifter/racers as well. I felt confident they will treat my car with care it deserves, and the guys went above and beyond to drive me home and pick me up when the car is ready. Yet they are respectful about your budget and decisions, and doesnt take advantage of you no matter what kind of car you drive. They provide comprehensive services, from cosmetic car wraps and clear bra, to regular maintenance items to body modifications, wheels, brakes etc. And here is the best part which surprised me most of all. I dropped the car off about 10am, chatted with the guys and they started the job about 12 noon (there was a car before me that needed tires). They completed the job at midnight of the same day, all the while sending me pictures of the installation as updates. I have never heard of a group of guys working till 1am for the car. I heard of plenty of guys who rushed your job and send you your way and the workmanship shows, or they take a long time to do yours because they have to keep taking in other cars to stay profitable. This is not to say 11 motors is not busy, they have a lot of customers coming in and out. So instead of making me wait 3 days while they take on many cars, they worked diligently to finish the job on the same day without rushing anything, and did all the requests I asked for including checking into some rattles, taking pictures of the install, wrapping up my OEM exhaust ready to be brought home, and paying careful attention to the disassembly and assembly without leaving a single mark. Where are you going to find a place like this nowadays?
I highly recommend this place to other yelpers, these guys deserve your business as long as their service covers your needs. They try to be your one-stop place for all customization and service needs, even though there are a few things they dont do in house such as window tinting, body work and software tuning. I will be coming back for more I am sure
