This company saved me over $5k! I had a major transmission issue and my car was still under warranty. I went to Toyota who dismissed me very quickly. It was up to me to find a way to prove it was the transmission so that they would do their job. I had already had my mechanic tell me it was the transmission, but I needed another quality second opinion. I came in frazzled after my experience with Toyota and these guys were amazing! They were so nice and efficient. Gary (The mechanic) has 35+ years experience as a mechanic and worked in dealerships which was helpful in providing insight into my situation. John (the owner) also has years of experience and was as kind as could be. He runs a truly great business. Long story short - they confirmed the issue was from the transmission or the power transfer which were both covered under warranty at Toyota. Armed with four mechanics opinions, I marched back to Toyota and they replaced my transmission for free!! I couldn't have done it without these men who took their time to help me. Great people and a great place! They didn't treat me like a girl. Ladies, you know what I mean!
I cannot recommend this business enough. Honesty is rare these days and this business has it. They earn my highest rating.

I was hit and had a dent in m car and went here because they gave me a good price but after I saw the work I regret taking the cheap way out. They did a horrible job, the paint job was uneven and sloppy and when I talked to the owner he started yelling for no reason. Very unprofessional. Both him and his son should not be in charge of this business.

Took my classic car in to have the transmission serviced. Didn't make an appointment, just showed up. The got right to work on it. They found some other issues I didn't know about. The service tech showed me the issues and we talked about what was a priority and what could wait. Never felt like I was being pressured into any extra work. This car is very much a "budget" project. Cost of service was great and was a great value. Aamco understood and worked with me to set up a plan to get the rest of the work done. Will definitely be back.

AAMCO owner and staff are very professional and honest. Having to repair the failed transmission on a 2004 Ford Escape XLT was like a punch in the gut...no fun at all. With that being said, the honesty and professionalism displayed by John, Ed and the mechanics at AAMCO was first rate and I recommend them highly.

My first experience was A+.I really felt informed, that the price was reasonable, and the service above average. But last time I went they seemed to gloss over issues which I knew the car had. Overall they are pretty good here, but I don't like leaving a garage feeling like I wasn't told everything.

Great experience. My 2004 Corvette was heavily vandalized. Jay worked with my insurance company and got the thing repainted. Looks like brand new paint. Washed, waxed, and rims and tires cleaned! and he did it all in 2 weeks. I lived here for 20 years and never had a problem renting uHauls or body work. Thanks again.

Jay, the owner, was pleasant and knowledgeable. I was not looking forward to dealing with the insurance adjusters at all, but he took care of all of that for me. So I took my car in and basically, Jay took care of everything else. It was one-stop, hassle-free shopping and it looked great when I picked it up. And it was actually ready when he said it would be! With so many body shops in Simi, it's nice to find one you can trust that does quality work.

Horrific customer service while renting a uhaul from here. The manager, jay, accused us stealing equipment out of the truck. He was very rude and didnt believe a word we said. We are currently pressing fraud charges through our bank as the manager yelled at both my husband and I. He couldnt even speak to us in a calm manner and his temper would very bad. I've never experienced such poor customer service from anywhere before.

Don't ever go here. The owner is beyond rude. I went to rent a uhaul truck already reserved. He made me wait 1 hour to pick up because he had not worked the day prior and had to check in all trucks. His adittude sucked very unprofessional.. I ended up leaving and not renting from here. I put off moving till next weekend.. rather than pay him for services.. horrible customer service...

The work that was done by Jay and his staff was simply extraordinary and it's not just the incredible body work and gleaming vehicle that he returned to me. But his knowledge of the insurance industry that permited him to facilitate getting the job done.
