Came here to get my janky beater 93' Civic's head gasket replaced, took it to the shop Thursday evening around 5:45PM, picked it up on Saturday afternoon. They even called me saying I could have picked up late Friday night if I wanted to, which surprised me. As far as pricing goes, they gave me a quote, and wasn't too far off from it when it was all said and done.
I recommend giving these guys a call if you want something done right. From performance stuff to just regular repairs. These guys are THE pros.

Had a Civic dyno done about 5 years about by David. He may be a great tuner but he didnt show it. I didn't appreciate his attitude and failure to give my car the tune it deserved. On top of that, he gave me a stock map via email and when I asked for the dyno Map we had done that day he said "we deleted that map"...Wtf right?

David and his team are the best! I had my Honda 2004 recently upgraded. He worked on the whole car, specifically on the engine components. The service was fantastic and they were thorough and was very timely in the service and price is very reasonable and I was definitely not overcharged. I would highly recommend anyone who needs a foreign car serviced to come to import auto pros.

Import auto rip off worst dyno ever went in to dyno my car with a appointment got there on time it took them 2 hours to finally put my car in dyno car made 169 hp to the wheel and all that wait to b disappointed they only were able to get it at 172 what a rip off 400 dollars for 3 hp that's y they should call themselves import auto ripoff then I tried out the car and it feels alot slower than it was before I raced my buddy's 2013 altima 4 cylinder before tune a ate him up by 4 car lengths after tune he smoked me like nothing wtf it's like I just gave them money to make my car slower don't waste you're time and money on these jokes you will get ripped off

David, the Korean owner, was extremely helpful in diagnosing my electrical issue with my Honda when most mechanics whom I took to couldn't. He was knowledgable, helpful, and very thorough during my repair. Kept me up to date and was very reasonable with labor pricing.
Definitely coming back with all my car repairs and maintenance. Its hard enough finding a trust worthy shop these days, let alone a great mechanic.

Horrible experience with dyno tuning by david. (ended in a blown motor within just a few miles)
Got a refund, but only after having to raise hell.
3 of 4 pistons cracked. Highly suggest if you do decide to get tuned here, to pull your maps and look at timing values to ensure a real tune was performed.

Well where do I begin? They do not only work on imports... They do all general maintenance as well!!! I bought a 1994 Acura Integra GSR when I was 18 & the motor had gone to trash within a few months of owning it. I did some research of multiple shops and wasn't feeling the vibes of them.. So I asked around and was referred by one of my good friends..Import Auto PROS guided me in the right direction with my engine build. David was very helpful and knowledgable of what he's working on. The dynotune was perfect.. I am now turning 21 and to this day the vehicle is still running solid on his tune. The only shop I'd let work on my car... Thanks David!

We took one of our race cars to David after a friend told us he was a genius with high horsepower cars and tunes. Skeptical as we were, we weren't satisfied with anyone else and decided to give him a shot. David worked tirelessly to make sure we had the absolute best we could have and it showed in the end. The result was an absolutely phenomenal tune on a car that many other reputable tuners came close to, but never quite delivered. All at a price that, much like the quality of work provided, was far too good to be true. After countless race wins and several track records, the car has been unstoppable. Import auto pros is the place to go. David definitely knows his stuff. Went there today to have my car dyno tuned and left beyond happy. He took his time with the car and got it making better numbers than I had expected. He was also able to fix a problem before the tune that could have caused some issues later on. He's a straight up guy and he's gonna make sure you leave all good. Big thanks again to David and everyone else at the shop. Overall very good experience glad I went there. I highly recommend them. My boyfriend and I went to several other car shops for a AC leak. Each shop was quoting $600-$1000+ David took the time to check out the car and fix the car at a reasonable price. Turns out it was a minor fix as well!
We appreciated the honest work!

Thank God for this shop I have been ripped off so many times:( found David on yelp he did some work on my son car. Then my other car broke down he looked at it told us what it was we fixed it are self.. My SUV broke down he fix that and a timing belt on another car.. He has officially worked on all 4 of my cars.. Taking one back this week to get some extra work done that we put off.. Let me just start off by saying, this is the ONLY place my fiance trusts for all of his automotive needs. He will not let anyone around his car, let alone work on the engine. ;)

All I can say is that he does simply the best work around. I kick myself in the butt for not doing this sooner, and giving David all the props he deserves. I have been taking my cars to David for about five years now and he has always done an exceptional job every time. He is straight up with you and there are no hidden fees. What ever he says it is that's what you will pay. Now on the rare occasion it turns out to be more he will contact you immediately with your options. Like I said, David is someone who is straight up , honest and does great quality work. David is simply the best around. Take your car there and you won't be disappointed!!!

Finally a place that I can trust with my car. As a gal that's not easy to say. I had done extensive research and was highly recommended to David by 2 different people that did not know each other.
David and his crew were very knowledgeable, helpful, and most importantly honest. They had helped guide me to get work done on things that I actually needed and did not try to up sell me. They were patient to answer my questions to explain and showed me the parts that needed to be worked on, and why I would or would not need to get it done.
Their rates were very fair and reasonable. I would definitely recommend them to not only to my friends but family as well.

my 97 acura had a transmission error code. the d4 light blinking. and the speedo acting erratically. i googled it ans it seemed to be a common problem with the most likely fix being the vehicle speed sensor.
the dude from import auto pros insisted my tranny was "going bad" and he could rebuild it for $3000+. i declined since i had had it rebuilt a few years earlier for $1400 and it seemed to be working fine.
well i manually checked the trouble code with a paperclip hahahah per google instructions. turned out the code was for ...drumroll please... faulty signal from the vehicle speed sensor
i got one on amazon and after 10-15 minutes under the hood the problem was solved
in his defense.. maybe he just didnt like me cause i rub some people the wrong way

Since I bought my car import auto pros has been the only place I've let touch it. Whether it was a new tune to a new downpipe to w leaky flexpipe and now my tps sensor lost a bolt I brought it to david and he adjusted it for cheap.
Highly recommended, highly knowledgeable, I have nothing bad to say about these guys.

i dont do any tuning, but was recommended here by a friend when my cars engine blew up. since then i started bringing my cars here for regular service.
the prices are reasonable, the crew is honest, and the work is done well, what else can you ask for?
another time, i had a transmission go out on me on a work truck while i was stuck in long beach, someone stayed late so that i could have the tow guy drop it off. i would definitely recommend calling and making an appointment.

Alright, I have brought my car to Import Auto Pros for the last year. They tell me the real deal on the car where other mechanics will rip you off.
Today I sent one of my friends to talk to David (one of the owners) about a radiator hose leak that Honda Heaven said he would need to replace for over $250. My friend like myself knowing nothing about cars almost went through with it. Luckily I caught him in time and sent him over to Import Auto Pros where they told him it would run him about 5 bucks for a new radiator cap.
Even thought these guys are tough acting and seem not approachable, I have never been ripped off here and they do there best to help me out of my bad situation.

I found this shop through a forum on
. Members of that forum have recommended them so I decided to take my old 93 Civic HB there. I've had this car since high school and I've always kept it thinking I would do a motor swap someday. Now I'm in my 30's and I saved up some money to make it happen. I called them up and spoke with Victor. He thoroughly explained the process to me and gave me an accurate timeline of how long it would take. I initially wanted to go with an H22 swap but all David could find was an H23A VTEC Blue Top which was even better IMO. This type of motor swap requires a very knowledgeable/skillful mechanic because I've read other message boards about this motor and people are complaining about idle problems, erratic power bands, and just not being able to get it started. I didn't experience any of those issues once I got my car back which by the way, only took a week. They even cleaned it up nice and filled up the gas tank for me. I highly recommend David and his crew for any type of auto motive needs.

I have taken my 1996 Acura Integra to David and the crew here and they were great!! There prices were a lot lower than any other mechanics I had been going to. I just bought a car from a dealer close to Import Auto Pros. I talked to David and he took me same day. He did a 2 hour inspection on the car and was VERY thorough. He found some things wrong with it and the dealer fixed them for free before the final purchase. David is a certified mechanic and was very resonable on the inspection. I now have a new mechanic!

This is the 3rd time ive had my honda civic si at import auto pros for repairs and tuning.. Halling ass around the city basically destroyed my motor mounts and left me with frame damage, bringing back to this shop and dropping it off in full confidence that the problem will be fixed is what im used to experiencing here. After the repairs were done David put it back on the dyno and made 280hp For a conservative street tune.. Now my car flys, and i dont need to worry broken mounts or frame damage.. These guys really live up to they're name..
