I was referred to Terry's by a neighbor after damage to my rear passenger side of my Toyota RAV4. Bruce helped me out and kept me up to date with the progress of my vehicle. I picked it up today and it looks great! Cannot even tell I had damaged it previously, they did great work and even detailed my car! The detail part was awesome even more so because it had been some time since a wash due to the accident. Thank you for fixing my car, it's good as new!

I chose this place for my new Hyundai because the dealer recommended them. They did a good job repairing the car, but when I picked it up there was a big scratch on the bumper (and they had just painted it as part of the repair), the tire valve covers were all gone, the tires were scuffed, and the gas tank was about a half tank lower. They offered to fix the bumper, but they already had the car for 3 weeks, I can't do the hassle of leaving and picking it up again. Plus I don't trust them with my car after all of that.

Terry took care of me after a lousy driver crashed into us on the 5 near the Carlsbad Exit by the Outlets. We drove to Encinitas to visit our son, attend a relative's HS graduation, and visit more family. That was all cut short because instead of paying attention a woman crashed into us at around 45mph. Terry eased our anxieties regarding the best way to claim the accident, rent a car, get our things from the car, and reassured us that things would work for the best. He and his employees talked with us and paved the way for a calmer weekend! Thank you, Terry, et al. The car was totaled and since it wasn't my fault we are all set to get our new car asap. Again, thank you Terry!

Terrys Auto Body excellent shop. Rudy and staff was very hospitable. They worked on my new aftermarket front lip for my 04 Scion XB and did almost a exact color match. Price reasonable. Highly recommend for your body shop needs for repairs. Thanks again see you next time!

This place is awesome I live in encinitas and any time my cars need work done I take it here, Rudy is awesome always super helpful. Recently one of my cars was hit in the parking lot and the drivers side was damaged I took it to Terry's auto shop and Rudy was great kept us updated on the car, I would highly recommend this place they do a great work, prices are great and the customer service is fantastic. If you guys need work done go here and ask for Rudy you won't be disappointed, thank you Rudy for always making our experience great

So, I just had a semi-minor accident in my brand new car. I was referred by Hyundai to Terry's. Corey was extremely helpful. He told me would give me the best price he could. And after getting quotes from 5 other body shops, his price beat the others by a long shot. He only needed my car for a day and half and the repair turned out amazing. My car looks brand new again. We had our pearl white Acura TL dented in the rear passenger side above the tire and decided to come here because the other shops said the cost to repair would be $1,500- $2,000! Rudy took a look at our car, gave us honest advice and willing to work with us said he would do the work for $800! We dropped off the car that evening and in 3 days it was finished, upon seeing the car we couldn't even remember which side was damaged, he did a phenomenal job!! Definitely recommend this place!

I damaged my fender while on vacation down here. It needed replacing. I called around for estimates and timelines for when it could be fixed. Terry's had the best price plus they were able to do the job in the couple of days that I had. It looks great!!! Like new!!! I was really happy with the work, the price, and the customer service. (Thanks Rudy for all your help!) Would definitely go back, although I live in Tahoe, 10 hours away! If you are local, check them out!!!

4.5 stars for customer service - this family owned and operated business isn't shy to let you know that they appreciate you coming to them while there are so many other auto body shops in San Diego.
3.5 stars for quality of work. They did everything they promised to do and then some, but there were some flaws in the metallic paint. I'm not painter, but I would imagine that much like painting your nails (sorry, best comparison I could come up with), you have to be careful about getting too many glitter flakes in one spot. Well there were about 2 spots that I noticed that were coated more than the others and I guess that there really isn't much you can do about that once it's done.
They DID, however, totally fixed a dent that i had in my hood that had been bugging me for years! And there was no extra charge, so I really, really appreciated that!
I believe the guy who helped me was named Corey - quiet, younger guy with a bunch of tatts. I really liked him. He was honest and gave me a more than fair estimate for my front end paint. He also returned my car to me in a timely manner, as promised! I think that he understood how much my car means to me and he made an extra effort to get the job done on time!
Folks have asked me if I'd recommend this shop and all I can say is - for the price, you simply cannot beat these guys (quoted me more than $1K less than the other guys) BUT if you are looking for show-quality work or are particular about paint flaws, you might want to keep looking elsewhere.
Speaking of price, when I picked up my car, my mom inquired (with a different guy) about how much it'd cost to paint a 4 runner (the whole car) and he quoted her a minimum of $2K which I thought was a bit steep. Shrugs*

Was not happy about them. Took money from insurance fix only half a problem. After their fix become other problem. And they refuse to fix it. So bad . I left in happy . They do good job on painting but really bad on fixing . Never again be their.

I needed some minor body work done to my car- this was the ONLY shop I went to who made me feel comfortable, listened to exactly what I wanted done, and was respectful to me. They were the only ones who had a realistic time frame as well for the repair work- they got the job done in 3 days as promised (everywhere else wanted 1-2 weeks), were great in communicating what was being done on what day, did a GREAT job, and charged the most reasonable price around! I just wish they did more than body work so I could give them as much of my business as possible!
If you are in need of repair work on your vehicle, I highly recommend stopping by this place! They've been in business for as long as they have been for a reason!
