I found this place on Yelp, they gave me the best deal in comparison to all competing automotive shops near them. They were fast, efficient and didn't try to impose any new unnecessary costs.
I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for competitive pricing for automotive repairs.

Once again received the best skilled and affordable car care. I had an electrical problem again and was welcomed by Joel in the office who listened patiently to my problem, actually two problems because I took my car in during my lunch break and had to leave soon. Their mechanic Christian started diagnosing the problem right away and because of my experience the last time, I took a walk and trusted my car to the Gearheads. When I came back an hour later, my car was waiting for me: it was parked right in front of the entrance and facing out ready to go. Again, I was charged a fraction of the price of any auto repair shop you'll ever find. Like I said in my previous review, I'm definitely coming back for my future repairs.

texted several businesses for pricing for synthetic oil change for my Mercedes, these guys came in with a great price, not the lowest, but close enough as their reviews were some of the best and they were close and convenient. Glad I chose them, delivered as promised with great customer service. Will use again for sure. Street numbers are kind of out of order when looking for location

Visiting from out of state with my family of 6 when the truck breaks down. Friday at 8:00 am Brad and the crew put me at ease and had incredibly fast turn around. Professional service. Excellent communication. Highly recommended!!

I love this place! They have tools, experience, computers with online fix it manuals, an awesome chill dog, everything! I also got the year membership which makes everything cheaper (its already cheap and now its almost free). So I go in for an hour or two and pay like 15 bucks! So awesome. If you want to do it yourself, come here!

Definitely a customer for life. I originally called and spoke to a guy (maybe Joel) he quoted me $240 for brakes and rotors, including labor. I wanted to get a few other quotes so I called around and EVERY place was AT LEAST $100 more and that's on the low side. I took my car to these guys and they had it on and out within 1 1/2 didn't pay a dollar over what I was quoted. Very honest. Would definitely recommend. Everyone is very nice!

Joel and his team are great! They ordered the wrong brake pads by mistake and took care of some of the jump in cost as they were premium brake pads and were a significant difference in price of quote. They also looked at rotors and recommended I wait til next brake pad replacement to turn them after showing me the condition. They are honest, dependable, and made me feel welcome and answered all my questions thoroughly. Nice waiting area outside.
Thank you!!!!

These guys were great. I've been in twice and Highly Recommend owner Joel and Service Mgr Brad.
First time, my LaCrosse had a wheel hub sensor issue. It could've been very expensive. Because I didn't want to spend hours trying to diagnose the problem, then have to spend more on costly parts, I just asked them to take a quick look but not spend a bunch of time on it. I asked them to simply replace the parts.
When I came back in the afternoon, they found the problem was a poorly made wiring connection. I was only charged for that. I'd been expecting to pay hundreds o dollars. Instead I got out with a very small bill.
Second time I went in to change my own oil. Because I was in and out so quickly, they gave me a bit of a break. Much appreciated!
The shop seems to have a full array of tools, it's conveniently located, the guys are very helpful and honest. I've told a bunch of people about this shop. Thanks!

I can't recommend this place enough! 9 months, 6 tows, 3 shops, & a dozen meltdowns later, my car is fixed & back on the road because I finally discovered U Fix It! Owner, Joel, is just fantastic, easy to talk to, knowledgeable, & helpful, Manager Brad knows his stuff for sure, also very helpful, & I'm convinced that mechanic Ruben, is an automotive genius! (It's possible they all are, but Ruben did my car's repairs.) Car was overheating. TWO previous shops, a lot of diagnostics, tests, & "jimmy-rigs" later, I was out a lot of money, & my car was still overheating. I had to let my car sit for 9 months. I found U Fix It via Google search, read reviews, got a very reasonable estimate online, then scheduled the work as soon as finances allowed. Ruben figured out the problem right away. I'm back on the road as of today, car running perfectly, & so happy to have finally found a knowledgeable & HONEST shop. Their honesty was astounding, & I was thankful that as a female, I was not spoken down to or not listened to. I love that I can provide my own parts as well if I choose. I won't be going anywhere else! My only regret? Not finding them sooner!

You can go to a dealer or conventional mechanic and he will charge up to $300 to replace a set of brake pads. I got a set at Pep Boys for under $60 and payed these guys $15 bucks to use a lift for an hour. I had a little time left on the clock after replacing the pads so I rotated the tires too.
The last time I did this, I feel lucky that my little scissor jack didn't collapse on me. Having my car on a professional lift enabled me to do this in half the time, and a lot more safely, than it would normally take me.
I really hope these guys succeed because this is a real money saver for someone like me who is not a master mechanic, but has the skills to do routine stuff like this.

So glad to find these guys! My daughter and I put her wrecked Camaro back together at a DIY garage in Escondido, but it closed down. Ran across these guys by chance one day and was ecstatic that they were even closer to me than the last place! I've already been there twice. Brad is a great mechanic and very patient. He explained everything to me about why my Geo was making THAT NOISE and showed me why he thought the problem was where it was (he was correct!). Prices are super reasonable. I wish they were open on Sunday, too, since I work too far away to take the car during the week, but I guess they have to have at least one day off. :) Joel, the owner, is also very nice and helpful. I'll be taking the Geo for a third time this weekend, hoping Brad can tell me about the latest complaint from my little problem child. Such is life with a Geo Metro. :)

I saw this place advertised and they had a coupon for brakes so I thought I would give them a try. After getting a $450 and $300 estimates from the VW dealer and a private shop I was looking for a better option for back breaks and rotors. Picked up the brake pads and rotors from Auto Zone $63. made an appt and $60 dollars later I had new breaks all total with my parts $123. Now that my friends is some savings. They were professional answered my girly/clueless questions without being condescending. This shop has the lifts and tools for the DIY too and a mechanic if you bring your parts they also offer to order parts for you. I Will definitely use them again.

These guys are fantastic. I had an issue with my car not coming out of park. Pep boys told me it was neutral safety switch while quoting me $330+... It didn't sound right so I spoke with Brad over the phone at U Fix it auto an he said it didn't sound like that was the issue. I dropped it off and they diagnosed and replaced the brake switch for $50. This place is also great if you want to work on your own car, they have everything you need for pretty much any repair and at great rates. Thank you Brad and Joel.

Brought in my brake pads and rotors and got a good installation for a very reasonable price...deals for the DIYers as well. They help avoid the crazy mark ups on parts from other repair shops. Buy parts from part dealers and save money but some shops won't warranty if you buy your own.

I had to have my car towed there overnight and they fixed it the next day. Called me with updates, only fixed what they needed to fix & didn't try pushing more. Being a woman mechanics try pushing more than what I need to be done often, I greatly appreciate the honesty here and highly recommend them!

My car started stalling the other day and I knew I couldn't go much further without someone looking at it. I found this place when I rented a U Haul truck a few months ago. While there, I noticed a good mechanic I used to go to was now working there. Anyway, I came right in although they were pretty booked already. It turned out to be a part in my engine needed to be replaced. I understand this is not the simplest of repairs. They got it done and the charge was only about $130.00 which is very reasonable. I liked the way two mechanics and the owner all got involved in getting the job done. Great service. At a dealer or another repair shop it could easily have been 3 to 4 times the charge.

"U Fix It" definitely beats working on my car on jack stands in my small single car garage- getting it up on a lift makes work a LOT EASIER and enjoyable! Clean and well equipped facility for the DIY type, Joel is a very friendly and helpful owner. How about $215 TOTAL COST for front pads and rotors on my BMW....and $170 of that was my parts cost- you can do the math. Very reasonable hourly rates make this more than attractive if you know how to turn a wrench.

Best place to fix your own car or get your car fixed for such a reasonable price. First and foremost the customer service is ammazzzinggg from over the phone until getting my car in and getting my car out. We all know that it's very hard to find a mechanic that we can trust. I will definately say that this is the first time ever that I found a place where I felt my opinion was valued and respected. I went in to get my front and rear brakes and rotor changed I brought my own supplies which made it soo much cheaper out the door for labor it was $160 which was way better than firestone which they would of charged me $600 w/parts of course bit still. This is a steal and plus you get to watch and learn. Even though the man lost one of my lugnutz they easily ordered another one and I went back to get it replaced it was easy breezy with them my boyfriend and I also went back for his wheel locks to be put on his truck so over all. Great place to watch and learn how to fix your own car and price is good but customer service is amazzing. Thank you guys.

This place is cool! It has all the tools, lifts, software and equipment one would expect from a clean, state of the art automobile repair business. It has on-staff mechanics to help with any problems, and a big screen TV to watch football while you tinker. classes are offered on Sundays for typical repairs like oil changes and brakes. The owner, Joel, is super friendly and helpful. Best of all, the cost is ridiculously cheap, at $15 per hour, or $100 for the whole day. I can't wait to get my clock her in there!

Exactly what you need in a DIY garage. A very helpful staff and a good range of tools make this place exactly what you want when it comes to fixing your own car. Access to service manuals, pneumatics, some specialist tools and a well arrange workplace all add to the effectiveness of getting your job done.

I brought my 99 Jeep Cherokee in to get my tires rotated and my breaks fixed. From past experience, I would have guessed that this would be at least a $500 repair. The guys at UFix it diagnosed the issues and broke it down with parts at a reasonable prices and at the end of the day it was under $200.

I have a 1990 Miata that needs tlc. I was told my belts needed replaced by my tire guy. When I talked to Joel, I decided to take it in. They did a great job for a reasonable price. Very friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. They explained everything to me. I will be taking my "baby" back there whenever she needs work.
