Absolutely amazing service. I dreaded the thought dealing with the insurance and getting my car properly fixed after I got rear ended at a stoplight. I knew my parents had gone to CarStar before, so it was the first place I called. I worked with Ian, who was super nice and answered all my questions and was able to work with the insurance to make sure everything went smoothly.
The repair took 3 days, which was not a bad turn around time at all. When I got the car back, the bumper looked better then when I bought it, and they took the time to clean and vacuum my car, which was a great touch.
Overall I had a fantastic experience there. If, God forbid, you get in an accident, I would 100% recommend that you go see Ian at CarStar. They make getting into an accident not suck.

Excellent service! Job took less time than original estimate so they lowered the bill. Very impressed from day of estimate to end of service. You cannot even see where I dented my plastic bumper as they fixed it so expertly. Highly recommend this body shop.

I bought my car a few years ago used. There was always this ugly paint line on the back where someone didnt properly merge the paint. Ive had it estimated by a few body shops that wanted an arm and a leg as well as to keep my car for over a month. Not only did Accurate get it done in a week but they price was extremely reasonable. They cleaned up that eye sore and more. The plastic parts on the exterior had faded from the sun so they offered to make those look like knew as well. My car came back clean inside and out. I cant say enough good things about their customer service, honest, and integrity.
I would recommend to anyone. Don and his crew are top notch.

Honesty isn't a benchmark achieved often in the automotive industry but these guys have delivered again and again.
I've taken my car there twice, and each time was fantastic. They did what they said they would do in the amount of time they promised, and at the cost they quoted. In addition, they pointed out an issue with my brakes and, again, showed why it needed to be fixed, and delivered on time and cost.
Can not recommend them enough for your auto body needs.

I have always received the best service here. The staff is always pleasant and professional. I brought my car in for a minor adjustment and they fixed it on the spot while I waited. I understand this probably does not happen all the time but the service here is fantastic.

I took my car here after reading carefully through reviews on places that my insurance company recommended. I'm so glad I chose Carstar because they did such an outstanding job! Everything went so smooth from beginning to end. There were no hassles and every single staff member that I encountered was so friendly. And my car looks brand new! They even cleaned out the inside of it and I am just so impressed! I will definitely bring my car (or any other cars that I may have in the future) whenever I need something repaired.

Some lady put a big ol' dent in my car. Her insurance agency recommended Carstar so I looked them up on Yelp and decided to take it there. I'm really weird about letting people in Chicago work on my car (I'm not from here).. I've had more than one place try to screw me out of hundreds of dollars.. but I'm so glad I went here. From getting an estimate to picking up my car the whole process was pretty hassle free. MY CAR LOOKS GREAT!! I expected it would take at least a week to get my car back but I dropped it off on Monday and by Thursday it was done. They cleaned it inside and out, too. I have two dogs and use to smoke in there and they were able to get all the dog hair and ash that gets stuck around the seat.. I've been trying to get that out for MONTHS.
I'm so happy with the work they did and their customer service.
Maggie was excellent. I also worked with another gentleman.. I didn't get his name but he was younger and with short dark hair, I think he was latino? I want to give him a shout out too! He was great too and answered all my annoying questions. Sorry I didn't get your name!
I will definitely be back if anything happens to my car and I will be letting others know about you guys!!

I have been here a few times and each time they do a great job. They worked with Allstate on a claim I had for an accident on the front end of my Dodge Charger. They provided great details and finished the work on time. They did some additional work outside the accident and did excellent work on everything. Everybody is very courteous and very easy to work with. Highly recommend them.

Run as far as you can from this place ! the workmanship is so bad my 8 year old could do a much better job. had to take it back 3 times and this was for a minor fender bender. this place is an absolute joke! if you care what your car looks like-do youself a favor ------- do not take it here .... bad bad bad... Then they lied and said they didn't think part of the damage was from the accident , Funny how they charged the insurance co though... R & I , Which means replace and install, Looks like they went over the damage with nail-polish. I can't even understand how they can get away with doing this to people and charging the insurance co. exorbitant prices for work they didn't even do? Stay Away ----- Very dishonest Company !!!!!!!!!!!!!

My car was badly damaged from an accident, Carstar-Accurate Auto Body did an amazing job making it look almost brand new. The repairs took 2 days less than expected and they kept me updated. George was really helpful and scheduled a rental right away. I'm hoping I won't have to come back but will definitely recommend to anyone!

Backed into a metal trashcan and dented my car about a year ago, got it priced at a reputable repair shop and could tell they were using me, let it go. Backed into a second metal trashcan and knocked out my tail light. Could not let this go. Went here and felt great about the people and their open and honest system. I dropped my car off in the morning and it was ready the exact same day for pickup for BOTH repairs. Highest level of service both with the auto repair and on the customer side of things. I will not be going anywhere else in chicago for future repairs.

My Chevy Malibu was damaged in a hit and run. I had the front end smashed in!!! Maggie and the staff at Carstar - Accurate Auto Body made the process of getting my car fixed easy!!! They worked well with Allstate Insurance and the only thing hard in the process was giving up that $500 deductible!!! If your looking for a good body shop....this is the place. You will not be disappointed!!! I know I wasn't when I got my car back!!!

I recently had my auto fixed at Carstar on Montrose Ave. I have to say I was impressed and am rating them 5 stars which is unusual for me! After my bumper was slammed into by someone who slid down my street sideways on the ice and then took off, I debated having it fixed. Expected a major charge because its auto, right? I was majorly surprised. They were efficient and courteous. I was scheduled within a week after the initial consult and it was repaired within an hour! The cost?? So reasonable - it was below my insurance deductible even! All in all a very pleasant and refreshing experience!

Friendly and fast service. My vehicle was involved in a crash driver side damaged came out brand new and runs great. A month later my vehicle was then keyed :( I was extremely hurt call the guys at CarStar and had my car back in 2 days looking brand new again. Great service and prices hopefully I don't need any more repairs ;)

I brought my Subaru into Accurate Auto after a minor accident, and it was a great decision. They helped facilitate a rental car for me and worked with my insurance company so that I didn't have to. I hope I never need a body shop again, but if I do, I will be going back to Carstar Accurate Auto.

I don't trust my Audi to anyone but now I will never go to anyone else! Don and his team did a fantastic job with my car looks like new! And it was waaaay more affordable than going to the Audi recommended body shop in Westmont. Also the office and guys are super professional, I completely recommend them! Thank you guys! I had a very good experience about a year ago with Carstar Accurate. I had a collision-not my fault, and my insurance covered everything . The paint job on my car was awesome and the guy working in the office-Eric really made sure I understood everything and walked me through the whole process. Good job.

Had a dent in my plastic bumper. Originally the front office person said it needed replacing. When I said I couldn't do that she had "Don" look at it. He said they could heat it and push out the dent and gave me a price. Asked that I bring it back Tues, Wed, or Thurs mid morning. Took it to them this past Wednesday. It didn't take as long as anticipated so they lowered the bill. I was impressed from beginning to end. Highly recommend them!

Stay away! This place will rip you off! In my case - painting rear bumper. They said one day. It took 3 days. The last two days I didn't have a rental car. They didn't want to reimburse me for two days. I picked up my car clean form outside, dirty inside... Dust all over the seats... The back seat won't release because of the hit in the back... I pointed that to the estimator - the guy argued with me that it wasn't from the hit. Honestly I picked this body shop because I live 5 minutes away. And honestly that was the biggest mistake...

The staff was amazing from the beginning and not only called me to let me know that my car had arrived safely and was in good hands, but also called me every few days with follow up reports in the weeks that followed. They were friendly and answered all of my questions and worked great with my insurance company. They were thorough and when I picked my car up they had gone above and beyond and actually fixed some things that were not even caused by my accident. They treated me with respect and were always sure to explain everything in terms that made sense. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend them to anyone. My car is my baby and it was hard to trust anyone to turn it over to but these guys were great and did an awesome job. my car LOOKS and DRIVES like new. Fantastic job, highly recommended! I can't thank them enough! Not to mention, their reviews are great, they are backed by the BBB and they guarantee their work for the lifetime of the car!
