Worst experience ever!
First off, I went there on a Saturday morning at 10:00. Mike was not there yet, I was told to wait and he should be in in 5 minutes. 30minutes had gone by, still No mike. They said it had something to do with his favorite team, Kings losing and that he had been drinking the night before. Red flag- I should have left right away.
Anyway, he had the car for eleven days, just to repaint one door and supposedly do some touch ups. On the day of pick-up, I had to wait yet another 30minutes, again!The guy there, who only spoke Armenian, just pointed me to the car and gave me the opportunity to inspect the car before Mike came back.
And then on to the first job, they were supposed to repair two small door dings that needed the entire door repainted. I understand it was needed, but there was terrible overspray on the surrounding areas and the door handle was not even sanded which left it very rough to touch. The other door that was not supposed to be painted was over-sprayed that it now has rough spots. The rubber door weatherstripping has white overspray too.
Now, we also agreed to have some nicks and scratches that I touched up for them to professionally and correctly touch up. Guess what, they didn't even bother. We argued about this, Mike saying his guy touched it up. I know they didn't. It is my car, and clearly I know my touch up. One of his men, the same guy mentioned above even admitted by hand gestures that it wasn't touched. This was a clear oversight on Mike's part not know what his men did or did not do. I just didn't have the time to argue, my family was waiting in the car.
Now, on to the wheel rashes they are supposed to repair/touch-up. My wheels are black, and I though it would be easy for them to hide. My young daughter would have done a much better job. Their job looks like they used a marker pen or nail polish on top of the scratches. No putty, or much sanding, or prep was done before hand. They even left one long scratch yet again untouched. He said his guy can quickly do it while I wait. I said no, he already let me wait 30 minutes, and he wanted me and my family to wait again! How inconsiderate. For what I paid to get them fixed, I should have just gone somewhere else who would repaint the wheel and would have charged just $45/wheel.
Oh by the way, there was even no courtesy to wash/ clean the car. Normally that's fine. But they left some white marks/sanding dust on my dashboard.

Brought my 350z here for body repair, new bumper, interior restoration and a new paint job. While i was waiting they kept sending me photos of the process and explain in details what they are doing. I got my car and could not stop staring at it, they did a superb job on all aspects and returned my car looking like a shiny black diamond! I can't be happier, they turned my car into a show car :D

The shop itself was friendly, prices decent however 3 weeks after my service my cars engine died and I had to buy a new car , while I do not know if the shop was directly involved it would have been nice if they called this out as an engine should not just die out of the blue when it had a service 3 weeks prior.

Showed up for window regulator replacement, Mike got the part the same day and his expert mechanic took care of it with grace. Good prices and expertise in this location. Highly recommend this place for mechanical work and body work as well. They are very friendly, and go out of their way to help there customers. Goldstar was amazing! A huge chunk of truck tire hit my car taking a hunk of bumper and the engine cover with it. I went around to several shops and decided on Goldstar because of their demeanor and quoted price. Mike, and all the gentlemen I interacted with, were attentive, knowledgable, and courteous. They took the time to really look over my vehicle and even showed me exactly what needed to be repaired and why. They went above and beyond. The service was completed in about a week which was much faster than other shops quoted me. They turned a huge hassle into a smooth experience. I highly recommend this shop and will use their services on the future.

I have a 2004 silver Jeep TJ and decided to keep "her" forever.
So I had Gold Star/Mike Bogosyan & his crew repaint the entire car from silver to my green. It was completely taken apart, sanded, and then painted along with the roof and the fenders, bumpers in black, also small dents & etc. were corrected. The results were Fabulous ! Perfect!
Went to 4 other nearby shops first and learned, reviewed and made the decision.
Never been more happier! A great staff work there . . .5 stars!

I got a flat tire earlier today and I needed to get the front passenger side tire replaced quickly and affordably. I found this place on yelp, gave them a call and was given a very reasonable quote. Much lower than I was expecting to pay. They replaced my tire within 20 minutes and even suggested rotating the rear old tire with the new one so my car wouldn't pull to one side due to the difference in treads which is something that would've completely slipped my mind. Mike, the owner was professional, friend fly, and helpful as was his other mechanic and it was nice to see the friendly rapport with another one of his customers at the time. I can safely say I will be coming back here for any future tire or repair needs, definitely recommended.

I was looking to have some performance suspension (coilovers) installed and needed an alignment. Mike gave me a great price, his offer was well below previous quotes I had received. He seemed to be very knowledgable about the suspension/tire & wheel fitment I was looking for. His shop is very clean and organized, also his staff is awesome and freindly. I was very happy with the results! He had my car set to a perfect ride height and took care of the camber and alignment. This was not an easy task, but he took it on and succeeded greatly. I am very picky about who handles my baby and I felt very good about the care she was in. Highly recommended.

THE BEST !!!!!!!!!! HONEST, KNOWLEDGEABLE & AFFORDABLE !!!!!!!!!!!
My first encounter was with my mom. She asked a friend for a referral & they sent her (I went with her) to Mike & Luis (Jose), which was & continues to be a God Send!
She had a fender bender & they took Excellent care of her & corrected all the issues with her car. She is so happy & rests assured that she is safe on the road.
On 3/31/2015, going home from work @ 4;45, I heard a strange noise, that I thought was coming from my right rear tire, I called Mike ASAP & he said bring it in. 40 minutes
later, I pulled in & Mike immediately knew where the problem was coming from & told Jose to remove my front right tire. Jose was shocked at what he found. The bolt that holds the right brake pad in place was missing & all the hardware (brackets) were broken!!!!!!!! Both Mike & Jose explained to me, how dangerous it was & that this is an error made by whoever installed my new brakes & pads.
AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED THEY SAVED MY LIFE!!!!! Mike had no hesitation about asking me to bring it in, even thought I got there close to closing time.
I HAVE DUBBED MIKE MY CAR SURGEON & JOSE MY CAR DOCTOR.

I am so pleased with this place! I have a 2013 Lexus and I took my car to the dealership for a routine oil change and tire rotation, they were going to charge me close to $300. I called Mike at Gold Star and he did an oil change, tire rotation plus a free break check all for less than $70. I was very happy with their service. Great job and thank you!

We went through 3 different mechanics including the Mercedes Service Department before going to Gold Star. Mike diagnosed the problem with no charge, and his findings were very accurate. We had spend close to $2000 fixing what wasn't even the issue, even Mercedes charging us 280 for diagnosis still couldn't fix the issue. I am so happy and grateful to Mike, he was so generous, professional, experienced, and courteous, we've finally found an honest and extremely experienced mechanic. I will recommend Gold Star to all my friends and family. I rate Gold Star a 10!!!!!!!

Working in the construction field, my truck really needed a make over to the front and back bumpers, not to mention a thorough tune up since I've had the car since '05. I spoke with the owner, Mike and he gave me an estimate for the repair work/painting, brakes and tune up that beat this other shop I compared to in the area. Not only did I get the fastest turn around with my truck but I'm sold to trusting them with future car issues. These guys are very reliable, honest and professional. My truck looks brand new! Gold Star Auto Repair really stands up to its name! My car had some issues with what seemed like the battery and the breaks. The guys at Gold Star were able to diagnose the problem and fix it to its core. Mike, the owner, was very helpful and professional in explaining everything every step of the way. He truly cares about his customers and wants them to really understand the main problems of the car. Their prices are also very competitive! Very good quality work! They know what they are doing! Had my old silver Jeep TJ changed to metallic green and hard top, fenders, bumpers, etc. were black.. Very happy! Plus my wife's car had a front end dent: This shop was very well priced for the repairs and painting! Over all they became my choice for repairs from 4 other shops I haves used. Like their friendly atmosphere from the owner,Mike and his employees.. Also, he drove me home when my wife was "busy"!
