I recently had some issues with my car and I had to find a place that was convenient for me. I do not usually like to go to the big dealerships, only because my Toyota is a 97. They usually try and sell me a new car. I found this place, honestly, by accident but I couldn't be happier with the service. I ended up needing a lot of work done. I had break problems, air filter issues, shock problems and a couple other things (oil change and other basic maintenance). Great customer service, great information, solid recommendations and speedy service!
When I got my car back, it was driving better than it has in a long time. Yes it was a hefty penny but it would have been WAY MORE at a dealership and probably would have taken longer. I would recommend this place to anyone with any car!

$180 just to tell me what a nocking noise is. I thinking a motor mount.
No thanks. I already had with one mechanic that couldn't figure out the problem. I told the guy I won't pay $180 to hear "I don't know" like the last place.

In a world where the health of your car greatly impacts your life, it's important to have an expert you can trust with its care. Like an experienced doctor, Beyond Repair fills that role. Bill, Mike, and Sue are a great team. They are nice people but more importantly, you can count on them to be thorough and honest about your vehicle's needs. They will never encourage you to buy an unnecessary air filter or recharge your air conditioning if it's not needed. Repairs and maintenance are done timely. They will consult with you on prospective needs and considerations so you can plan maintenance and prevent breakdowns. We have entrusted our four cars to their care for at least 10 years and can't think where we would be without them.

This place ripped me off. I went here due to a positive yelp review that touted how honest and fair they were. well just opposite happened. I have a VW Jetta Diesel. I took it in for a turbo power loss issue to be repaired. Although I am mechanically inclined, my turbo was giving problems with the sudden loss of power, I had no clue on what to do to fix it. The Jetta was dropped off in the morning, then they called me just minutes prior to the end of their business day. They said that there was a hose that needed replaced on the turbo unit and aditionally my glow plugs were bad too. They all needed replaced, the parts would take 3 days to get in. I ok'd it and they closed within minutes of that. I thought about it and thought the price to replace the glow plugs (which I had done before and knew just how easy this was) was too high and decided I would do it myself. I called them as soon as they opened and told them to not replace the glowplugs, I would do it myself. They said that too late they were already replaced and I had to pay for the repair. I said I thought you needed 3 days to get the parts in. They said that was the hose that was going to take three days to get in, not the plugs. They then said that they had gotten the glow plugs in and installed them late, the day before. (even though they had called me right when they were closing the night before) That wasnt what they had told me the night before. It was very clear all the parts were on order. Anyhow, I was upset and allowed them to proceed with the hose repair but asked for the old parts. interesting enough, the vehicle was repaired the next day, there was no three day delay in the hose coming in. It was ready for pick up, first thing the next day. When I got the car. they said the old parts were in the trunk. I paid the $830.00 bill and went home. When I got home there were no parts and I had to go back the next day and get them. when Iooke at the hose and figured where it was, I was furious. it was an air intake hose that had split at the top of the engine and only had 2 hose clamps that held it in place on the top of the engine which likely took all of 10 minutes to change. Interestingly enough, I put this review on yelp which had dissappeared. There is only one other review on yelp, the original false one that indicated how "honest and fair " they were. When it was all said and done, I wrote them a letter asking for an address to overcharged shop hours and got no response at all.

I can never find a cheaper deal with these guys. The best place to get a smog check is with the big guys like pep boys because they charge the same for every car.
