Went to mike for a pre purchase inspection on a CNG vehicle. Mike pointed out that the CNG tanks just expired and informed me that I wouldn't be covered by insurance IF I used the vehicle for commercial purpose (it's for for personal use). Although I left the deal with no van, I'm happy that he saved me the headache down the line.
I liked mike and from my 15 minutes with him I could tell he is an honest good guy.

I checked on good smog stations in my area..and Mike's place came up with nothing but 5 stars! I read all the reviews and liked what I heard! I went to Mike to smog my car and was pleasantly happy! He was a very nice man and smogged it in 5 minutes flat!! Awesome! I will come back to do my oil change this weekend! Great service and trustworthy owner! :)

I needed some help/advice for an issue I was having with my Natural Gas Crown Victoria and as I was in the area I stopped by unannounced. Mike wasn't around as he was on a CNG training course, but I spoke to his son (Emil?) who was absolutely fantastic. Due to some unusual issues with my particular car we weren't able to sort it out right away, but I was treated very well and I wouldn't hesitate to take my car back, or to recommend that others go here.

Mike is my new favorite! Last week, a mechanic in Vista told me that my rear brakes were gone and needed immediate replacement. Based on prior experience with that shop, I said I needed a second opinion. They protested that it needed done right away and I shouldn't drive on it.
This week, I went to Mike's for the second opinion - he looked at it for 5 minutes and told me that my brakes were not "gone," they were at 30%, and would last at least until October, probably December. He didn't charge for the inspection either! I told him I would come back and see him in October! So refreshing to find an honest man!

CHECK THIS OUT! BE WEARY!
I brought my car into Mike's Advanced Auto Care through a referral due to the fact that my 2001 Toyota Solara Convertible my car needed ignition services because the key would not start the car. Mike said he could handle it....Until on the 2nd night that he had my car it was over. Apparently Mike had vandals come jump his security which is a video recorder, no gates to protect his clients just a video recorder. Vandals for some reason liked the look of my 2001 Toyota Solara Convertible and decided to strip it. They took everything, except for my Satellite radio! The car was destroyed. When I found out Mike told me that he wouldn't take any responsibility because he thinks that if he takes a customer car in his possession and the car is vandalized its not his responsibility because he has video cameras on his property!!!! In small claims court with Mike and I am filing a report with the Better Business Bureau, I GOT SCREWED! BE WARNED!!

Honest Mike offers the best auto Care in town. When it comes to mechanics and auto work, two things are most important. Honesty and Quality. Those are the two most important attributes and that is exactly what this co. Does. Nails it on point. Mikes worked at Ford dealer as a mechanic for years and basically every other car brand for 2-3 years so he knows what he's doing. And it is not expensive neither(cheaper than car dealers). Once your warrnty ends, ditch that lying hell-hole dealership and come here for your regular maintenance and whatnot.

Mike has been our family and fleet mechanic since 2006 and we've not looked back to looking at others. We have tried many mechanics over the years but we have not met someone who is as honest or helpful as Mike is. We've been in ups and downs financially and Mike carefully considers the work to be done according to your affordability.
He is an awesome business person and a friend now to us.

The best auto mechanic! I have taken my car numerous places and none of the mechanics have measured up to Mike. He is knowledgeable and really honest. What more could you want from a guy working on your car? I live in Long Beach and pass probably hundreds of shops on my way to Mike's. It's well worth it. I have an old civic CNG with over 250k on it. Every time it's been in for repairs I have been very satisfied with the service and care. A couple of times Mike could have easily pushed me into an "extra" repair, but he didn't. He works with you and what you can afford. This is the last mechanic you'll need. Your search is over, done!

The most honest auto shop I have found. Family owned and operated, they are always extremely helpful and courteous. I take my Acura 2000 TL there for all of its needs, and they tell me very honestly how important each repair is. They treat their customers very well - they even give free oil changes.
