Great service from the start! Came in for an oil change - Friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and professional individuals! Adam, the owner, took great care of me. Found great deals on Groupon! Definitely check them out!!

After searching for a local oil changing shop, AAR caught my eye and decided to bring my car in that morning. There was one person working on a car and I inquired about how much an oil change would take and how much it was. He told me it would be $35 and take about 30 min.
There is a small seating area where the register is, so my hubs and I took a seat and in about 20 min. my car was done.
While we were waiting, the owner came and got a chance to talk to him for a bit. We found out the shop had only been open that month and it sounded like the process to open a shop was a bit longer than expected.
The oil change was a little high, but not as high as where I was taking it before. But I definitely did not feel taken advantage of or over sold on unnecessary things to my car. Best of all, they are open on Saturday and they are located in the same shopping center as goodwill, Carrara Pastries and Arroyo Vista Vet, so you can fill up on delicious treats while you wait or do a little shopping.

Came here for a much needed oil change, a tire rotation and break inspection from Groupon. Living 2,000 miles away from home where I can't leave my car troubles to my Dad or Grandfather anymore, made me a bit on edge when searching for an Auto Shop whom I can trust to take great care of my car, and not rape my pockets. Adam was nice enough to take me in on short notice, and immediately once I arrived.
Halfway through the wait, I was told that I would need new break pads in the front, which explained the minor squeaks I'd hear from my tires intermittently. When they quoted the price, I almost died right there, but went ahead with it anyway to get it over with. Later that day I called my cars dealer who then quoted me a much higher price for new breaks, confirming that I've made the right choice doing it through Adams.
I really like Adam's Auto because they REALLY know their stuff. I learned so much about auto repair and maintenance in those 90 minutes than I have in my whole life (a shame..i know). Adam has a website fully explaining everything there is to know about cars and maintenance, which I was able to browse during my wait. Pretty cool! Only problem I have is my car ride seems a little bit noisy due to the new Break pads. I Probably just have to wear them out a bit? Will return in 3 months for another Oil Change.

I bought a groupon for an Oil Change, listed as "Full Service Oil Change, with Tire Rotation and Brake Inspection" listed as a "$40 Value" for $18.00. Seems like a fair deal right? Nope!
No where on the groupon or in fine print did it say anything regarding type of oil, amount or anything. Now i know synthetic oil is more expensive than conventional, but in prior experiences, the shop has always honored the value of the groupon and used that towards the service. Not here! Adams tone changed significantly the moment i mentioned the word "groupon".
He obviously has realized maybe the Groupon idea wasn't a good option for his little shop since he said, "That is only worth $9.00 to me, Groupon keeps half".
I didn't have anymore time to waste with this guy and decided to take my business elsewhere.
Customer beware: your groupon isnt as valuable here as you think it is.

Came to Adam for a new muffler and transmission service. Adam and his employee are extremely professional and friendly. No hidden charges, what he quoted me was what I paid. His shop is extremely clean and well organized. I wont hesitate to come back to Adam in the future.

Adam was great! Found a Groupon for an oil change for $18 and he and his mechanic took care of my car. There were some extra expenses, but honestly for $18+, totally worth it. I loved their service so much, I got my tires replaced their too. Highly recommend Adam!

I had great experience with mechanic and owner. They did very good job on the vehicle and was helpful of what was wrong and had a solution to fix it. They were friendly and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone in the area. I would return as a customer any time I'm near it or if I move in this area!

WOMEN BEWARE...DISCRIMINATION!!! Chris treats you like an idiot, doesn't take your concerns seriously, and takes advantage of his customers. A month after he installed a transmission, I brought it back because it wasn't shifting properly. He claimed to have checked it out and found no issues. This was repeated several times and he never corrected the problem. The transmission went out while my kids and I were driving out of town. Being stuck at 3am and the nearest town was 40 miles away, was all because Chris NEVER addressed the problem! After a ruined vacation, I called Chris to let him know. His, "what do you want me to do" attitude and lack of compassion was shocking. He refused to take ownership of the problem and questioned me that if it was even a transmission issue. He commented about me being a woman and how I was looking at the situation. He got frustrated with me! I am deeply disappointed with Chris and his lack of professionalism. I would do negative stars, but had to put one to post.
