A towing company has got to be one of those professions where you just spend a lot of time in dread about dealing with people who are really not having a good day and are going to take it out on you. But you'd never know it, doing business with Bullet. They were so friendly and professional and quick.
I had to have my vehicle towed from my home to the dealer. Bullet showed up 25 minutes after I called during morning rush hour, and Daniel was so friendly and jovial and understanding, and he had my car off to the dealer incredibly quick. It arrived at the dealer safely and in great time.
Having to call a tow pretty much sucks, but Bullet made it about as good as it can be.

This towing company has the best customer service, super professional tow drivers and they are quick to respond. I have used them a few times for work related purposes of guests who needed their help.
Every time that I have called them the dispatcher is very sweet and gives an accurate estimated arrival time and if you call back for a status they never get upset; they simply check the gps on the driver and let you know the update.
It's hard to find all of that in a towing company but, I appreciate knowing that every time I call here I won't be disappointed.

Such frustration lately with the Jeep build! Had to tow it to one location the other day & that company couldn't do the work , so had to tow it once again to a shop across town. I checked Yelpers reviews of course & chose Bullet. 10 % OFF IF YOU MENTION YELP. ! Sorry I yelled, it's just such a nifty deal :)
After an initial snafu, (the driver wasn't informed Glenn would meet him there), it went smooth as silk. Daniel was apologetic about the mix up & extremely professional. He even explained exactly how it was tied, blocked, & strapped carefully avoiding our babies sensitive areas. Aww, they love Jeeps too! Thanks Bullet :)

What seemed to be an awful day, turned out pretty cool. Within 15 minutes, James came out and even in an awkward parking spot, he got my car up and back to the drop off point in a very short time period. At no point did I feel my car was at risk of any damage. The process was smooth and easy. He was nice and provided a great conversation on the way home! While my insurance had a small coverage, the bill could not have been very much as it was covered in full and I know the cap limit on the coverage. Even with a 20+? minute drive, my insurance covered it. Highly recommend them -especially James!

Great experience. The only company willing to come get me in central Austin and take me and my car to Georgetown. The girl that answered the phone was very polite. They showed up on the early part of their pick up window and called me when they got to the car.
James was very gentle with hooking my car up, a pretty cool dude to hang with for the 45 min ride, and professional.
They will be the first company I call next time and will happily recommend them.

Bullet Towing is incredibly professional and very polite. I had two tires blown out and I was stranded at 10 pm. I left my car in a neighborhood and called Bullet Towing after a bit of searching online. Spoke to a gentleman (I think he's the owner) over the phone at 1 am and he was very polite and made me feel at ease. He gave me an honest estimate and took my information down so that they would be ready for me the next morning when I had planned to take my car to a tire shop.
I called back the next morning and they remembered me and the location of my car! Eric from Bullet Towing met me at my car and did all the heavy lifting. He was incredibly polite and had a good sense of humor, a real gentleman. He also had prior knowledge of the tire shop I had chosen, Leal's Tire Shop on E Cesar Chavez. He recommended Leal's with confidence, and he was right about them; Leal's is superb.
I highly recommend Bullet Towing and I will certainly be calling them the next time I have a roadside emergency.

My son needed his car towed when he moved from one unit to another within his condo community in North Austin. I cringed for the operator who had to endure so many speed bumps in his nice tow truck during the two block move, but he was good-natured about it.

My car broke down on the roof of a parking garage downtown. Apparently my shift cable had broken on my Envoy and I couldn't get out of park. After calling numerous companies that said they wouldn't be able to get into the garage, let alone get my car out of the garage, my friend randomly called Bullet Towing. The lady that answered the phone was compassionate and worked with her to get the details of the situation to find out if they could help. After talking on the phone, they were confident that they would be able to tow me. I had to go back to work, so I left my keys and the car and was told that they would get it within 1-1.5 hrs. I got a call from the mechanic that my car had been delivered. A little while after, Bullet called to finish the transaction. Turns out my car was a challenge to get out of the garage since it is an SUV and has a luggage rack, but the driver (Tony) was able to get it done. I would recommend Bullet Towing. They gave great customer service and helped me in an awkward situation. The price was very reasonable for the amount of work they had to do and I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you Bullet Towing!!!

I had an interesting interaction with this company. To start with, although there was a downside, they were completely professional and worked with me throughout the entire ordeal.
I had a vehicle that had been sitting for about 6 years that I needed towed to get new tires. I called ahead and scheduled a pickup, which was quick and easy. They called before their arrival and were very punctual (which is tough in Austin traffic). We had discussed dropping the vehicle off at a specific location, and although the address was established, there was a miss-communication about the actual business. It had been dropped off at the wrong tire store! (Which happened to be across the street.) However, once I discovered the mistake, they quickly sent the tow truck back and delivered the vehicle to the right store.
Why is this still a 5 star transaction? Not only did they correct the mistake quickly, the head manager gave me a call himself to apologize as soon as he heard about the mistake. I was very surprised! Its rare that I meet with such a professional auto company of any kind, so to that end, I say great job! I will definitely be using this company again and recommend it to any readers.
They will treat you and your vehicle with respect!

I found this place on Yelp, and they were perfect for our needs! I needed to get a jeep towed so I called in early in the morning and spoke with a very helpful representative on the phone. She have me a quote, not a range of what the price would be and she was the only person out of all the places I called who asked all the right questions to make sure they could meet our needs. I scheduled a pick up time, and our driver Richard was there on time to pick the truck up. He was friendly, he called to let me know when he arrived, and he didn't waste anytime getting things going. This review is a long time coming...
I used Bullet Towing through my cellphone provider when my truck broke down last year. (I blew a head-gasket.) They were super quick about getting to me, and towing my truck home. It was completely covered by my insurance, which was nice of AT&T. :p
Anyway, the guy who towed me was able to maneuver through my tiny neighborhood and get my truck in my driveway, which was pretty impressive with that massive truck he was driving. Good job!
A week or so later, I called Bullet Towing again to tow my truck from my house to my friend's house so that I could work on it there. (No room at my place, really.) They were fast and agile once again, and I was soon able to fix my truck and drive it home myself. Y'all were amazing and talented. So glad you guys responded to my calls!

My truck broke down on 183 service road and i was in a total panic. Back before the days of many unneeded electronics, you could push start a stickshift car. Unfortunately, I tend to enjoy things like air conditioning, airbags, and radial tires so a modern car I must drive.
Luckily someone at Bullet Towing came to the rescue when my starter died and he had no problem towing my car with about 2 inches of ground clearance onto a flatbed. He showed up on-time, courteous, and even enjoyed talking shop about cars. Given the low ground clearance he patiently loaded and unloaded the car without any problems from a restaurant to a small apartment parking lot.
Price was reasonable and I would use them again but hopefully that won't be anytime soon.

Our initial experience with Bullet was due to an accident my son had and our vehicle was not drivable. APD dispatched Bullet to tow it to their lot. When we went to get it the next day , Rick ( owner) met me to allow a different towing company to take the Jeep ( my insurance co. sent this group) . You could not ask for a more professional encounter. He was empathetic about my damaged vehicle and had taken the extra steps to protect my Jeep by putting the top back up and putting a tarp over it to protect it from any rain. That attention to detail is not something you typically see in the towing business.
When the competitor towing company arrived, Rick pointed out that they did not secure my vehicle properly. He suggested I stop them and get it rectified. Again, that is something you don't see in most situations like this. In speaking to Rick, I learned that his company could have done the tow for my insurance company and I vowed to use them next time I needed a tow.
I suggest you request Bullet Towing even if you have free insurance coverage. These guys are pros and take good care of your vehicle . I'd trust them going to pick up my car if my 18 year old daughter was with it. I can't say that about the other towing companies we have used. The quality of Bullet's drivers is above the norm.: respectful, courteous and professional.
Use them next time you need a tow.

We used this company through our insurance, to tow our out-of-commission car to our usual service center. When the car was received by our mechanics, they noted that the cover of the passenger side mirror was missing. It was there when the car left our driveway, yet Bullet adamantly denies to even consider covering the damage incurred while our car was on their tow truck. They said it was "stolen" and "good luck." Seriously, it's not the worst that could have happened, I think the repair will probably cost about 50 bucks, but apparently integrity and good customer service is worth less than that to Bullet.
So probably you might want to trust your car with someone who doesn't bang it around on its way to its destination.

My car died near I-35 and Airport Blvd. I called Bullet Towing due to good online reviews. They said it would be a while, so I called around. Bullet ended up having a much better price than anyone else, and would get there just as fast as any other company in town (it was a rainy Saturday afternoon). The driver called ahead, was very nice, and did a great job. He also helped me push the car into the bay at the dealership and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. My car died on me last night and I needed to have it towed home. I called my roadside assistance and Bullet Towing was their service provider. They showed up pretty fast for a Friday evening and the driver, a gentleman named Steven, was very nice and personable. He also has some mad skills when it comes to maneuvering vehicles off the tow truck thingy and into a driveway. Maybe that's not a big deal but I was impressed. :-)
I would recommend Bullet Towing to anyone in need of a tow and I would definitely use them again.(However, I hope I do not need to anytime soon.)

I couldn't have had a more pleasant experience. My old Chevy truck was dead, with what sounded like a worn starter. I used Bullet because they were contracted through my insurance company's roadside assistance program.
The driver showed up, admired my truck, and then said, "I've got one of these in my garage at home. Let's see if we can solve the problem." With about 5 minutes of turning a wrench, he had me up and running.

I have dealt with other tow companies in the past and have never had a good experience, from rude customer service to unrelated up charges and fees.
Fortunately after our wreck Bullet Towing towed our car. They were the most polite group of people to deal with that I have encountered. Rick came out and met us at our car and helped us pull out our belongings. He was also right on time to meet us at the tow yard, we did not have to wait on him.

Reasonable rates, prompt arrival and good service. My car's alternator went out on a Sunday afternoon. I scheduled an appointment for them to pick up my car on Monday morning to deliver it to the dealership. I got the Yelp discount, though their rate was reasonable even before the discount. The tow truck driver took good care with getting my car onto his flatbed, and gave me a ride up to the dealership as well. Towing your car is never fun or something you want to do. But the company doing the towing can actually make a difference. I had a flat tire and no spare on a rainy, cold Sunday morning. Beyond irritating. I did a Yelp search and came across Bullet. I gave them a shout and all the way from the person who answered the phone (Susie? or Susan?) to Michael who came out and did the work, I could not have been more pleased. Incredibly professional, personal, and timely! I also have a very low-riding car and Michael was beyond careful to make sure that it didn't scrape, etc. He moved around that car and the truck equipment with exacto-knife precision to make sure everything would go smoothly as he pulled it onto the truck. It was almost as if he was towing his own car in terms of the care he took. While you never wish upon yourself or friends/family to have to have towing service, Bullet will be my own go-to place and the place I recommend to everyone I know in need of towing services. I have roadside assistance included with my insurance, and they sent Bullet Towing to recover and transport my car to a repair shop. The wrecker operator "Eric" took great care with my car. I was really at ease once I noted "Eric's" concern and care for my car as he loaded it on the wrecker. The repair shop called me once my vehicle arrived and informed me they were equally impressed with "Eric". I can't believe I'm writing writing a review on a towing company, but if anyone deserves it, it's Bullet Towing! Especially Matt, thank you thank you!
Had to tow my broken Honda from south to north, I called several places that quoted me high prices and long waiting times. I finally cam across Bullet, and the lady who answered was so sweet and really showed compassion for my broken car and broken phone situation(one of those days).
Within the quick time quoted Matt showed up, only to discover I left my car keys in my friends car...so we had to wait a little. Poor Matt, I had a full on Greek tragic female breakdown, and Matt just continued to be extremely patient and reassured me everything was gonna be ok.( you don't get that with other tow companies) Being an esthetician and in the business of dealing with people all day, I have to say I was so impressed with not only the efficiency of the service, but just really feeling like the business cares about you. It goes such a long way...Other tow companies take notes!
And for this girl, who should have a stamp card for all the cars she's had to tow over the years, I'm locking Bullet's ### in the phone! Cause lord only knows I'm sure I'm gonna need it again! Thank you for flushing my S**t day away! :D

Had to have my car towed to the shop for some recall work to be done after it failed to start. Roadside assistance sent Bullet Towing out and told me 55 minutes. Truck rolled up maybe 15 minutes late, understandable given that it was a downtown location. My car was in a parking garage in a pretty difficult spot to get to, but Tony G managed to get it sorted out and on its way to the shop just fine. Friendly and professional. Didn't have to work with their dispatch at all, but their driver gets a 5-star.

This place doesn't even deserve one star. Horrible management, horrible people, horrible company.
From the very beginning I had an awful experience with them. They have absolutely no management skills and just want to get as much money as they can. There are awful business practices going on here.
I had my car stored there on Friday and had to call several times just to arrange to meet with them. Every time I called a different person answered and I had to keep explaining to them that I had arranged to meet with them.
I called my insurance company and had it arranged to have my car towed from the storage lot. I got there early and called to make sure that Bullet Towing was going to be there as we had arranged. They answered and said they were never even notified. That was complete BS! I had talked to them and so had my insurance company.
Rick Pope and Rebecca Pope refused to come and meet me even though both me and my insurance company had already talked to them. So, they kept my car for yet another day and charged me more. Of course.
I finally got ahold of them again today...4 days later. And they answered saying my car was totaled and that Discount Tire would never accept it. Again, that's complete BS. I already had seen my car and it was missing two tires and wheels but it started just fine. It was in no way "totaled." There was no body damage. They just wanted to keep my car and make about $6,000 off of it. Complete crooks.
Anyways, I finally got it today and guess what? It was just fine. Had it towed to Discount Tire and it drives perfectly fine. Was not totaled at all.
I really hated dealing with these people and if you're smart you'll stay away from this unethical company.
***This is the first time I've ever felt the need to write a review but I felt it was necessary to let people know how awful these people really are. Save yourself time and money and frustration. Go somewhere else.

I called Bullet Towing first, and then called A-Excellence. Bullet's operator sounded like an 18 year old girl who was too busy browsing MySpace to help me out, and screwed up telling the driver where I was waiting at (on the side of the highway with a flat!). This caused a delay, and A-Excellence got there first. I didn't get the chance to experience the actual tow drivers from Bullet, but if they're half as dim-witted as the operator, I'm glad I didn't!

Wow! These guys are da bomb! My car was stalled outside of my bank in a hard to find location in a shopping center. Not fun! Not only did Tony G. arrive early but when he called to get more specific directions, his happy go lucky demeanor helped me to calm way down from all the stress. This was the best tow truck experience I've ever had. Although technically, I didn't actually have it... my car wouldn't start, and I got a ride from a friend, leaving my key under the mat after calling my insurance company for roadside assistance. After leaving and driving away, about 15 minutes later (and it was rush hour so fantastic response) I got a call from Matt, who got all the details, and then called me again to say it had started just fine for him. Five times. He said he always starts cars "just to be sure". I'm so glad he started mine! Thanks!!

I was nearly about to give a terrible review, until one of the managers named Rick saved the day.
Long story short, I had scheduled an appointment to take my car from North Austin to a mechanic off Burnet which ran me $90. Not only was the driver over an hour late, but when I called at 7:10 am (the pick-up was scheduled for 7am), the lady from the dispatch who answered my call said that "she forgot to enter it in, and that a driver would be on his way now". Obviously the incompetence on their end really irked me, and of course the driver was unable to budge on the price because of this. I then called them that afternoon explaining the whole ordeal, when I was redirected to Rick (possibly a manager/ower) who went ahead and cut my fee nearly in half! I was not expecting that at all, and the fact that he went above and beyond to grant excellent customer service was something that I was quite grateful for. Normally I wouldn't have complained about the situation, but the fact that I had scheduled an appointment the day before there were no excuses on their end, to which he agreed. I have a lot of admiration and respect for those that pride themselves on this type of business, so it was good to see that they held their end of the bargain.
In the end, I will definitely use this company again if I find myself in a auto-jam (hopefully not though-*knocks on wood*) and I would recommend them to anyone else mainly because of what took place afterwards. Obviously there is no guarantee that the same strand of luck will transfer to someone else, but I was glad that there was a positive satisfaction at the end of it all.

Unfortunately had to have my car towed from the grocery store after it wouldn't start. Joe called to let me know he was on his way and when he showed up was extremely patient and did a 100% professional job. I drive a German car with an overly complicated electronic transmission that wouldn't shift out of park into neutral (since the car wouldn't start the transmission wouldn't shift) but Joe made sure we figured out how to do everything right instead of taking shortcuts. He was also very careful loading my car onto his truck which I greatly appreciated.
I never thought I'd give a 5 star review to a towing company, but if you ever need towing services for whatever reason, Bullet is an A+.

My husband called me and said his truck stopped and needed a tow to the mechanic. He got a ride to work and left the truck behind Torchy's on Spicewood.
First, of course, I checked Yelp. What do ya know? There's a 10% off offer for Yelpers! So, I called and was quickly greeted and was told the tow person would call me. Just a few minutes later, I get a call from Mike, who was on his way to get it. He was very nice, he even tried to get the truck started and it did! I had him go ahead and tow it out to our mechanics in Leander. 15 minutes later, he called me as he was leaving it with the mechanics to let me know it was now in their care. I also got a follow up call afterwards to make sure everything was taken care of. This was definitely the best towing experience I've ever had! I even added them to my contacts as my towing company of choice.

I selected Bullet when I needed my car towed to the shop after seeing mostly positive reviews. I have to say, they deserve every star I gave them. I had a breakdown at a local park on a Sunday afternoon after some heavy rains. I expected to have issues contacting a tow company, but Bullet answered right away. The provided me with an accurate estimate of when I could expect the truck, verified the distance and charges with me, and everything went exactly as they said it would. The driver to let me know when he was on the way (as promised) and arrived without delay. He was very courteous and professional (sorry, I don't remember his name!). An unexpected breakdown is usually unpleasant, but Bullet made the best out of a bad situation and provided a friendly and reliable service.
I hope I don't need them again, but if I do, I'll be giving them a call.

They were great. I mean, I was in a pretty bad mood because my boyfriend and I tried jumping my car ourselves and failed. We were both already late to work, and I was late dropping it off at the dealership to fix the reason we had to jump it. I called the roadside assistance for VW and they dispatched Bullet Towing. The drivers name was Tony, and he was so nice. I could tell he was tired (it was early), but none the less was as nice as could be. We jumped my car with the tow truck (apparently they have more power or maybe I was just horrible at jumping my car) and off I went. He gave me his card and told me if anything happened or my car stalled on the way to the dealership to give him a call and he would come help me right away.
I hope I don't but if I do need a tow service again I will be calling them.

You probably aren't having the best day if you have to get your car towed, but Bullet was all that I hoped for in being straightforward with the pricing and making the process easy.
The pricing was explained up-front: $65 to hook it up and $3/mile for the trip. (Mention Yelp for a 10% discount as well!) The driver arrived when he was scheduled and dropped off some other items along with the key at its destination.
Before he left the driver told me that he "hopes I don't need them again, but if I do to give them a call." I agree, but would call them again without hesitation if needed.

My car wouldn't start on my driveway. No emergency, just annoying and stressful. It was about 7 PM and I called Bullet based on the great reviews here. They were very patient and polite with me on the phone, explaining the procedure and cost ($65 hook-up and then $3/mile tow, $70 for the not-quite 2 miles we needed). Although they were very willing to tow the car to a shop that they do not contract with, they told me that they will not leave the car on a closed auto shop's lot that is not monitored with cameras for liability reasons. My mechanic closes at 6 PM and I didn't know if they had cameras, so I decided to call back the next morning. I mentioned seeing them on Yelp and he told me to remind him the next morning for the 10% discount. :)
They told me they strive to arrive within 30 minutes of a call, so we planned accordingly and called when our shop opened at 7 AM. When my husband called they told him it would be 30-35 minutes before they arrived and that was about right. The guy who came was super friendly and helpful. He took down lots of information about what happened with the car and then took it to the mechanic we chose. All in all a very good experience.

I had the unfortunate pleasure of being behind an 18 wheeler during a blowout. Needless to say the tire went under my car and caused the coolant to leak. My car suddenly flashed with warning lamps and check engine lights. Luckily I was close to home.
I arrived home and called the Mini dealer and asked if they had a preferred towing service and they referred me to a company (not be mentioned) with less than stellar reviews. Rather than deal with the s**t that others have dealt with, I chose to call bullet.
I called and the gentleman that answered was laid back and very kind. I gave him my information and sure enough the truck was here within the allotted time period. Terry got out of the truck and was as kind as can be. Terry was very straightforward and professional, he explained that he did not tie anything to the car but rather tied down the tires.
I am very pleased with the service that Bullet Towing offers, and I am glad that they have employees, like Terry who offer honest answers and great customer service. I have nothing but praise for these guys.

Ahmed was wonderful! I could not get my car to start, and wasn't sure what the problem was. Bullet towing helped me find a dealership that I could drop my car off at on a sunday and arrived in about 45 minutes. Ahmed was super friendly and immediately asked me what was going on with my car. He knew right away that it was my battery, to my relief! He was able to jump start the car and have me on my way in about 10 minutes, no tow necessary. He even waited to make sure the battery restarted the car and that it was not another issue, like the alternator. I highly recommend him and will be requesting him personally if I ever need a tow again!

In the middle of graduation Saturday, I smacked into a concrete barrier on 35. I was frantically searching for a towing place on the side of 35 in the sweltering heat when I came across Bullet towing. Tony was dispatched out in an extremely timely manner. He went ABOVE AND BEYOND for my stranded damsel in distress self on Saturday. I don't admit to weakness to much in life, but that day I was truly clueless and helpless about my car. He was so gracious, upfront, and honest, wound up fixing my tire instead of just charging to tow my car, and I was able to drive it home. He could probably tell I had no idea what I was doing, so he suggested he switch out the front temporary tire he had just replaced with the back one since my car has power steering and having a spare tire on the front could be dangerous. He did all this with no extra cost. Being a female, it's hard to find people in the auto industry who don't just see dollar signs on my forehead. I strongly recommend these guys!!!

No one is in a good mood when they have to get their car towed, and typically grumpy meets grumpy when you call the tow company, but Bullet is different. Karen was friendly and accommodating for my pretty complex requests. Tony came out and picked up the vehicle, being careful not to damage anything even though I couldn't even get in my car to unset the e-brake or put the car in neutral and I have a pretty low sitting car. He drove through Austin rush hour and delivered my car to the dealership for what I felt was a really fair rate ($45 less than I'd been told by a competitor). I'm glad I found these guys on Yelp! They were great to deal with.

Had a flat on the F250 and couldn't get the spare to drop. Called Allstate Roadside Assistance. They contacted their provider Bullet Towing to come save us. Update: My name is Rene L. I posted earlier regarding a poor experience I had with Bullet Towing. I was quoted a price by Allstate which I thought was excessive charges by Bullet. I just got a call from Rick Pope, one of the owners of Bullet Towing. He was very apologetic and concerned I was not happy with Bullet Towing. He carefully explained Bullet is a local company working to provide the very best service. The charges offered to me earlier were a result of poor communicaton between Allstate and myself. There were things which could have been handled better.
As a result I accepted Rick's explanation and will contact Allstate next week to change my review of Bullet Towing.
I believe Rick was very sincere and I would have no trouble recommending him to my friends and neighbors. I very much appreciate his personal call at 9:00 at night!

My car died without warning and wouldn't revive even for the short drive to the auto shop. I called Bullet at around 11pm and spoke with Tanner - he was friendly and extremely helpful. They quoted a $65 hookup fee plus $3 per mile (minus a 10% Yelp discount) which seems reasonable.
We scheduled the tow for 7am the following morning; they won't tow a car to a closed shop for liability reasons. The driver showed up at a few minutes past and was also really nice. He even spent extra time maneuvering the truck into my driveway so I wouldn't have to wake up my roommate and ask her to move her car further down the street. Would definitely use these guys again.

These guys were great. I had to have my wife's Acura RSX towed from our home to a body shop after it wouldn't start. Bullet Towing were fast and efficient on the phone in setting up the appointment, and although they told us the guy would be there in 60 minutes he managed to get there in 30. The guy that helped us was Eric, and he was a true pro and super friendly and easy going. He got the car up with minimal fuss and great care, and didn't mind at all that we decided to switch mechanics at the last minute to someone in another part of town that we'd originally said, for which he reduced the price accordingly. When we arrived at the shop he was equally as efficient and careful. He also showed me how to get the gear shift free with a screwdriver when it gets stuck (some safety design feature of Japanese cars I have never understood) and while we were chit-chatting he also had some great recommendations on local seafood restaurants, so I'd say the whole encounter was a win all around. We don't need our cars towed very often but I'll definitely use Bullet Towing again and ask for Eric again.

Luis, the driver, saved the day! On a terrible, no good, horrible, stressful, thank GOD we are ok-kind of day, he was dispatched by my insurance co. and he arrived before I got the call from them he was on his way! I had one of the few occasions where calling a tow company wasn't because of something going wrong. I needed to get my 1970 Triumph TR6 transported from the paint shop to my home. I couldn't drive it because I'm getting my bumpers (which hold the license plates) rechromed. Also, the doors were taken off to paint it.
Anyway, I checked out Yelp and called my regular garage. They both pointed to Bullet...well, the definitely steered me right.
Terry arrived ahead of schedule and took great care of my car. I am sure they take great care of every car they tow but he was sure to handle my classic with kid gloves.
When/If I ever have a need to call for roadside assistance or towing again, there is no question who I'll call. These guys are fast, reliable and reasonable.

Wow, I've never had an experience like this before. Anyways, today was my first day of college orientation at UT. I was living off campus and right before I was going to walk to orientation I accidentally locked myself out. At that time I couldn't do much about it because it was around 7AM. Well, got home at around 8:30 PM and called Allstate Insurance to send me a lock out man. They said it would arrive in 30-45 minutes. Wasn't really disappointed or anything. Bullet Towing rocks!!
On July 12, 2011 my son and his girlfriend were driving to Padre Island and while in Austin, Tx the car died suddenly on a busy highway. We called Rick at Bullet Towing from Dallas and explained to him the situation and told him we were concerned since they were young and he told us that he would take care of this one himself and he did! Within 20 minutes he was towing them safely to the auto parts, he made sure they were in a shaded area so that my son could replace the part out of the heat. He took extra time to make sure they were in a safe part of town and close to three different auto part stores in the event that one didn't have the part there would be two more stores close by! After Rick got the kids all settled in he called my husband back to let him know that they were taken care of and if they needed anything else to call him back and he would do whatever was needed to get them back on the road. The price was $70 and well worth our peace of mind to know that he was taking care of the kids when we couldn't! Thank you Rick and Bullet Towing!~

My work vehicle's starter broke off of the block (yes I'm serious), so I needed a tow truck that could handle a large step van. After calling a few places to get some ridiculously high quotes, I called Bullet Towing. Not only were they anywhere from $60-$140 CHEAPER than anyone else, but the gentleman Terry was there in reasonable time and was very thorough and professional in getting the truck on the bed and secured properly. My wife managed to hit a curb and break the axle on her Volvo. She tried to turn around and ended up stuck in the middle of the intersection. Allstate sent Bullet Towing, Bullet sent Terry, and he was amazing. I cannot recommend these guys enough. With a broken axle, another towing company might have been in a hurry and jerked the car up, causing further damage, but Terry was very careful. Spoke with Norm. Very unfriendly and hard to talk to. He did come at the scheduled time and towed my car to the proper auto shop.
I asked what he charged and he didn't want to tell me. He thought the auto shop was going to bill (at a higher price of course)...I had to insist that I was going to pay him directly and wouldn't hire him without a firm price. He then quoted me $60.
Overall I'm satisfied but a good tow service is hard to find. He did what he promised so I gave him three stars.

Good People!
Not having a regular tow truck company, I checked Yelp when my boyfriends car got a flat on 183. (It's a big old Oldsmobile and the shoulder wasn't big enough to safely change the tire on.) Bullet came up first and had a number of good reviews so I went with them. They deserve all five stars! They went above and beyond to tow my boyfriend to his work, so he could make it in without being too late. The driver was quick and professional and didn't charge any extra for the few extra miles it ended up being to my boyfriends office. Needing to be towed the day after your car is repaired sucks. Needing to be towed from a parking garage with low ceilings sucks even more!
I never thought I'd be gushing about a tow truck driver, but C & L Towing really saved me.
I randomly got assigned these guys by my roadside assistance. Of course, pretty much all tow trucks are too tall to get into my parking garage, and I was close to freaking out over the whole situation. No one ever wants to have to call a tow truck however Bullet Towing turned a crappy situation into one that was not so awful. I had just moved to Austin and borrowed an old truck to pick up a huge dining room table & bench. Unfortunately, that old truck broke down on I-35 near 45 - this was on a hot, sweltering evening in July. We were able to get onto the side of the road but not able to exit fully. I whipped out my phone and yelped a towing truck company. I initially called a different tow company that was highly rated but even though they stated that they serve all of the Austin area, they took my call and my location and told me they would call me back with more information. They made me wait 15 minutes and then just called back and said "I was too far away" to be towed. Last I checked I was still in Austin and I was annoyed that he didn't just mention that the first time I called instead of making me sit in a sweltering truck. So then I found Bullet Towing, also on yelp, and called them. They said they would have the truck driver call me back. The truck driver called me back very quickly and his first question was "Are you safe? Are you off the freeway?" So it was nice that he really was concerned about our safety. He showed up quickly (maybe 10-15 minutes) and was very pleasant and nice. He assured us that his truck would be able to tow our truck flat so the table wouldn't slide out the back. The ride back to our destination was pleasant and he was just an all around nice guy. We mentioned the story about finding him on yelp and he gave us a discount on the price. I can't remember the specifics but the pricing was extremely reasonable. I definitely know who I'll call in the future should I ever need to be towed again.
