nadir is an honest, hard working jovial, friendly gentlemen. we brought our recently purchased thunderbird from another great honest place Duncan motors for work before taking procession. EXTREMELY impressed by his work ethic, personality, patience, friendliness, and the quality of his work.
a great man, shop and friend. very patient, and caring. basically a one man operation who can call on others he supervises if he gets backed up. a god send, an honest, competent mechanic who knows his business. and if he is not sure, or stumped he has many computer programs at his disposal, along with a great number of professional contacts.
you can't ask for more. and on top of all that he is very reasonably priced. love ya big guy- your t bird and sebring pals!

Simply the best and the most honest repair facility in town. Every mechanic shop will try to up sale you some repair you dont need. Not this Place! Always honest.
They do clean work. Their prices are lower than anywhere else, and their customer service is superb. Thank you for all your help! I have and i always will refer my friends and family to them.

May I just start by saying how AMAZING this place is. I have taken both my cars to Mr. Nader and he was able to repair my cars for an unbelievable price! I took my Mercedes to many auto repairs and no one could figure out what was wrong with it, however I was referred to Nader and he was able to figure out what the problem was and fixed my car in less than a day and extremely reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this shop!

Dude is cool, he hooked me up. I'm going back now to smog another vehicle.I don't enjoy sitting around the mechanics spot while I get a smog so going here allows me some time at Walgreens or Trader Joes across the street.

[Reposting my review since the original one fell "outside of the guidelines." Hopefully this one doesn't.]
If I could give this place negative stars I would. I was referred to Nader by one of my family friends, hoping that he would be fair to me and give me a good rate. Anyhow, I told him that I own an OBD II device and I've already checked the fault codes of my bimmer. There were a couple misfire codes when I checked it and he just asked me whether the car has been running smoothly, to which I answered "yes." Then he proceeded to check the error codes with his own OBD II device and told me that I put "bad gas" in my car and that is why it was shaking earlier. He then requested $85 dollars for the "service" he had provided me. WHAT? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? And then when I asked for discount he threatened me to charge extra. After asking him several times to give me a discount since I am a student, he agreed to reduce the price to 75 dollars (still very very very UNFAIR). If you want to save your hard-earned money then stay away from this greedy man!
Long story short, stay away from this place. The owner unfairly charged me, WHO WAS REFERRED TO HIM BY A FRIEND. When he treats me like that, I am not sure how he charges the strangers...like double or the triple of the price I suppose.

Update: The owner claims that he told me about the 85 dollar charge prior to clearing the OBDII code, but that is absolutely false (if that was the case then I would not have let him clear the codes because they were going to come back on like 10 minutes later anyway).
Yes, he spent about 35 minutes max test driving my car and finding me other cars on his computer (because my car had transmission problems so I was looking into buying another car). Since when mechanics charge you for finding you potential cars to buy? Again, if I knew he was going to charge me for that I wouldn't have gone there in the first place. My mechanic in San Mateo has done the same thing for me MULTIPLE times with no charge. Why? Because I told him just once that I am a student. But to the owner of this shop, I'm a money making machine, and I definitely do NOT appreciate that attitude. I want an honest mechanic who does not want to rip me off.

Nadir is the man! I originally went somewhere else to get my car smogged and they told me it failed. They also estimated a lot of money to repair it to pass smog. I decided to bring it to Nadir, he checked it and told me the car should pass. Since I needed a star station he drove it to one for me and it passed no problem. By the way that other place was Quality in San Bruno, don't take your car there.

They got me in the same day, Nadir was very nice, got the "pass" on my Smog Check that I was hoping for, and was able to grab some chips and guacamole next door while we waited, to boot. :-) Overall positive experience.

Indeed,Nader (or Nadir) is very an awesome mechanic.Today i came to him to get smog check done ( i live in Sunnyvale and working in San Carlos) and fix my broken signal's light...he has done incredible job..He worked on my car more than i expected or request,HE DID magic job on my CAR!!...He fix other problems with car without i am asking for it with very CHEAP PRICE!!,VERY NICE guy with friendly personality and a guy with "MIDAS" hands!!For sure i will recommend him to my friends...!!I am very happyy!!

Ok I have to come on here to be fair to Nadir at Belmount Auto Repair.
I'm not related to him in any way or shape or am I a silent owner of this busines..LOL
But Seriously folks..I had to wirte again due to bad things being written about him, I had yet another great experience with my ex girlfriends Saturn. It had been making a weird something's loose noise in the front suspension raqck and pinion area thereof..This happened about 1 year before I took car to nadir youll love this read on folks..I took her car originally to Wheel Works in RedWood City at Woodside and ECR they spent 2 hours tearing both weels aprt and said we can't totally find it, it'll cost money for us to really get into wheels area but we are pretty darn sure it's something (that i don't remmber name of) blah blah blah and that'll cost about 1000 bucks I'm like whoa I took it in for new tires and this noise to be assessed,
new shocks stuts etc will take care of the problem..
I leave doing nothing cause they say it won't cause a problem. I took it to another place and they said same thing we can't quite pinpoint it but we think it's this and will cost but they're pretty sure it'll take care of the problem..and it was like $900..
so nothing is done becaue of lack of money at that time..so it got a little worse but not enough to make assessment easier and/or differrent.. we broke up and didn't talk for a while..we started seeing each other (Hey I love her she's great ..so shut all ready..or i'll knock ur head off dem little things you call shoulders..LOL)
I take it to Nadir even thogh I'm living in Marin now..he pops it on the lift and in 3 minutes of looking behind his employee saying same thing shows me in detail what's loose and says that's the problem. He could have lied and I wouldnt have know the difference and wouldve paid for it to get fixed..he assessed it as a problem no here near what two other supposed reputable and expert brakes tres, stuts etc shops incorrctly assessed..it was the tie rod that goes across and if I recall only a rubber moutn on it..total cost at most $160 maybe less (this cheaper than any other place once again) ..if less time needed to fix something.
folks Nadir is honest in many experiences when others either havcen't been (in my opinion) or flat out don't know their stuff..he fixed it in one day as said ..and let me tell ya it's not because i show up with "tiny" and bubba" with a pair pliers and sledghammer in hand if he doesn't deliver..capiche
now i know that Land Rover mentoned by other writer was there more than just a few days..I've been going for many months and know for a fact that car was there unpaid with repair bill , Nadir was nice enough to not sell it sooner like many shps wouldve to colect there money and legally wouldve bene within his right as a auto shop..he didn't cause he actually has a heart imagine that a small business owner an auto shop with empathy that sometimes people may not have money to collect..so where this guy gets' off saying a few days Id say get off the drugs buddy..but seriously I think someone is upset because someone didn't agree with amoutn wanted and deserved by a business owner who could and should have sold car for lien n serveces rendered. it's s cheap attempt to discredit Nadir and it's flat out wrong but hey this is the way of world..
just look at Mikes review this is the Nadir we all love and know ..but Mike didn't try to "snake" him on the price for services done either..
ok enough said I've made my decision.." YOU'RE FIRED LAND ROVER DRIVER! PACK UP YOUR THINGS AND LEAVE.."

I needed to get my brakes fixed and oil change on my Camry and I found Nader at Belmount. I decided to stop by and he did a great job. He was not pushy and did not over charge. He was on time and friendly.

Im a student and i was looking for a good pricing shop to fix my car since there was so many things wrong with the car, so as i went to his shop he gave the lowest price from the prices other ppl had been giving to me. And i appreciate that he understood my situation as begin a student and he also let me borrow one car from him so i would be able to go to school so i wont miss anything.
And im still happy with his job, even thought it had been along time i took my car there still none of the issue had came back to m car, so i know that for sure he had done a great job on my car. and Of course ill go back to his shop for more services in future.

DO NOT bring your car here. When I went unannounced to pick up my car the owner seemed very nervous and rushed to make a phone call in the back, then he came out and said that they were test driving my car, which didn't make sense since my car had been ready for pick up two days before and the test drive should have been completed already. I waited 20 minutes for the guy to show up with my car. Then a month later I went to a different place to get my car thoroughly checked and the coolant that Belmount Auto Repair had supposedly replaced for new coolant had been replaced with dirty water and oil. I had to pay a ton of money to get the dirty water drained out and it messed up even more things in my car.
It doesn't matter how friendly this guy is if he does dirty work in order to keep $20 for himself. Find an honest mechanic and please go somewhere else.

I cannot say enough positive about Nader at Belmont Auto Repair! I have a very old (1989 Acura) car. It did not pass the smog test. Nader figured out what was wrong and took the car to the test station for me! Another time a strange light came on and it said "check engine". Nader looked up a code and fixed it instantly. Recently, I came by because my car wouldn't start, sometimes. Well, it needed a tune-up. The car now is like a sewing machine. Smooth. It purrs! Best of all, whenever I come by, he drops what he is doing and helps me. If it is something simple, he fixes it on the spot. His prices are very fair. But most of all, he is charming, funny, entertaining, smart, and a great person to know. I just moved here a few years ago, and having this old car I feel so comforted knowing I have a mechanic I can trust!

i drive a German car and as everyone know all the mechanic shops charge so much as soon as they see a German car, but he was the only one who gave me a good price which was lower then any shops in my neighbourhood.
And i'm still happy with his professional and job he had done on my car, and ill definitely go back to him for more jobs. And i suggest him to everyone.

The owner of this shop is a bad greedy man! Just stay away from him and his shop if you would like to save your hard earned money because he will use any TRICKS he can to charge you more than he should. For instance, he charged a 30 minute job for AN HOUR worth of labour, not knowing I was outside of his shop all that time watching him. Stay away from this shop!
