I had an electrical short on my 2008 BMW wagon which popped the trunk every time I started the engine. I took it to BMW and they wanted $4500 to install a new rear harness. Moe diagnosed the problem in a few hours. I located a replacement part, he fitted it and rebuilt the interior trunk space for $275. Moe saved me a fortune and he did it with a smile and a few laughs along the way. I highly recommend Moe to anyone with electrical issues.

I visited Moe on 7/15/16 because my car had no brake lights & no left turn signal, Moe quoted me $150. After two hours Moe got the brake lights to finally work. At that point we agree for me to come back another time to fix the left turn signal. He charged me $110.

There are 2 things that stand out about Moe: 1) he truly is master of his craft and 2) he is honest and doesn't rack up bills unnecessarily.
We first heard about Moe from a friend who couldn't stop raving about him. Our Mercedes was due for a 70k service , so my husband took it to Moe - but Moe said he's not the right guy to do the service and politely suggested we take the car elsewhere. We were pleasantly surprised that he wouldn't just take the car for service and for some easy money.
A few months later I took the car to have the brakes looked at. Moe took the time to show me the wear on the front and back brakes and how they compare. He even showed me the "anatomy" of a brake - including the rotars and talked to me in detail about different options for brake parts and relative prices. All quite pleasantly. He quoted me a price which was quite fair - esp. compared to my earlier experience at the dealer.
The brake change was done in a day and not only that, he fixed my car charger free of charge too. Very happy with the results. Thanks Moe!

I gotta say Moe with Auto Electric in San Carlos always comes through for me. In this day and age where you don't know who to trust with your car, I always know that Moe will perform great and charge me a fair price. Let Moe earn your trust too!

I tried this place Auto Electric & repair because of good reviews that i've red,and since i never had experience cosulting a mechanic (my 1st car '99 Camry) so i really need an honest one to fix my horn and some lights problems. That's how i met Moe
The shop owner, upon learning my car's problem he quickly diagnose it and told me
What might be the cause of it and to my surprise he' charged me nothing for the diagnosis.Moe is really a nice man ,ibeleived i found a man that can easily earn your trust.
Since i can't fix my car's problem myself and needs a professional to do the job ,i let him do the job and presto! problem solved.I'm very satisfied with my first consulting with a mechanic and he charged me very minimal . Another thing i like with Moe is that he's gonna tell you what you might do in case the same problem occurs ,really had a wonderful and pleasant experience with Mr.Moe Zakeri.I too will definitely recommend this place .Thanks!

Moe Zakeri is the owner of this car repair shop. He is a very honest man. Probably the most honest car mechanic you will ever find. I have been bringing my two cars (2006 Honda Civic and 2002 Subaru Outback) to him about twice per year since 2010.
I found Moe was when I had trouble starting up my Honda back in 2010. I got quotes from 3 different car repair shops on El Camino Real. All quotes were for about $50-$100 for the diagnosis, and, if the problem was really what they all suspected it was, then the entire job would be around ~$500. I did not want to spend that much money and finally decided to get a fourth quote from a small car repair shop on Industrial Way in Redwood City. That mechanic referred me to a "specialist" -- Moe. I was very surprised that a car mechanic would refer me to another mechanic, rather than taking my order, subcontracting the work and earning a cut. I did not expect this honest behavior in the car repair industry. Positively surprised, I drove over to Moe. I described my problem to him, and he then instantly grabbed some tool from his bench, got into my car, bent over, and after 30 seconds he told me: "Drive down the street to Pep Boys, get a new battery, come back, and I will put it in for you. That will solve your problem." Interesting, I thought, he did not charge me for the diagnosis. How unusual for somebody to miss an opportunity to charge his customer! Well, I drove to Pep Boys, got a new battery and drove back to Moe. Moe put it into the car instantly and the problem was fixed. When I asked to pay, he flatly refused: He was recommended to me by his own fried, and hence he would not charge me. So, instead of spending $500 with any other car mechanic (remember: I asked 3 different mechanics for quotes!), I ended up spending less than $100.
Since then, Moe has worked on my cars several times. I have not gone to another mechanic ever since. A recurring theme is that he does not more work on the car than what is necessary. He would often advise me how or where to get spare parts that are cheaper. He would advise to, where possible, clean or repair a part in the car, rather than spending the money on a replacement. It is clear to me, he is not in the business of trying to make as much money as possible. He has his customers' best interest at heart.

Great experience! I was prepared to pay alot more based on what the dealer had quoted me, but Moe was honest and able to repair my car at a fraction of the price! I will definitely be back!!

I'm so impressed with Moe! I went in today for what I believed to be an electrical issue with my car, preparing to spend some real money. Moe found that it was a simple fix (and very inexpensive as well). I am so grateful for his honesty and good nature. I highly recommend his shop!

Just wanted to say what a great experience dealing with Moe and his crew. They know what they are talking about, upfront, honest and believe in treating people fairly. Had my vehicle worked on twice for two separate issues and each time I felt that there are still good people left in this world. Thank you for the honest and terrific experience. I will definitely refer others!!
