took my car in for them to rebuilt the engine, shop very clean, all the staff very nice,
i have taken my car back several times for an oil change , and car started to make bad sounds so i took it back found out it was the A/C not the engine, they have worked on the a/c and they have stand behind there work. I have waited for my car for oil changes, and see they treat all clients very well while i have been there. I would use them again!!!

most horrible experience

i found them in the Recycler magazine. They rebuilt my transmission & it lasted 2 weeks. eventhough they game a 5year warranty they did not honnor it. most frustrating thing was that they never could detect the cause of the problem. Trust me,Save your time and money and go somewhere else. i lost 3 months of my life over this ordeal.

Transmission specialist haha , the guy they have doing the transmission work first of all is an illegal alien so I don't know how Diego can employ him. Plain and simple , do not take your TRANSMISSION problem to this shop. He uses USED parts in all of his rebuilds , torque converter(spray painted) same one as before, clutches , steels, washers , bearings ,you name it they are all used parts. A rebuilt transmission should be rebuilt using NEW PARTS!!! that's what the customer agreed to pay for. Anything else is unacceptable , this shop is robbing U.S. citizens , not only of there hard earned money but of work as well. HIRING ILLEGAL ALIENS IS AGAINST FEDERAL LAW!!! It is time we did something about it! In response to the anonymous google profile which reviewed "that's what the customer agreed to pay for" . The customer is making the agreement with the understanding that a there rebuilt transmission will receive new parts ! They have no reason to believe otherwise and are trusting the business is going to do exactly that. Adding , Transgear is not a legitimate lisenced business the person, JUAN AMBRIS, is an illegal alien , Juan Ambriz , formerly conducted business as business owner of I.E. Mobile Transmission repair. This person claims he is from New Mexico but can not produce any legal documentation of citizenship to the U.S. He practices ,parts swapping , insurance fraud , breech of contract , as well as identity theft, and should be investigated by federal agents.

This is my first review. Ever. That's how passionately I feel about this shop. I'm a very mechanically inclined, I do all of my work on my vehicles; however I needed a new u-joints on my drive-shaft, I couldn't remove them and needed a shop to press the old ones out. I called and was quoted 45 dollars to press my old u-joints (PLURAL) out of my drive shaft and install new ones. Little on the steep end for 20 minutes worth of work, but I needed it done. I took the drive-shaft there and the guy I talked to on the phone seemed genuinely surprised my drive-shaft had 3 u-joints... almost all drive shafts have at least 2... Well he said since there were 3 he'd have to triple the quote. 45 dollars just went up to 135 bucks, backtracking and saying that the 45 dollars was for one u-joint not one drive shaft... I said I was leaving. He then backed down on his price and we settled on 80 bucks. While I was waiting I heard a customer complaining of the shop doing a similar thing, quoting one price, performing the work and asking for more, but they weren't consulted first. Went in to pick up the drive shaft 2 days later, paid the quoted price while another woman argued with the owner about a price he quoted her that increased without her knowledge as well. 2 weeks later, I get to the point where I can install my drive shaft, only to hear clunking coming from it when I drove. I removed the shaft, then my new U-joints and saw the double cardan centering yolk was completely destroyed. This meant they took apart my driveshaft, they saw the yolk was destroyed (It was painfully obvious when the joints came out) re-assembled a destroyed yolk and sent me on my merry way. Instead of the ethical thing, saying hey, customer, we found your yolk was busted.... Or literally saying anything! Maybe they were hoping I'd come back and try and make another buck off me to get it repaired? I dont know, but I wont be going back. This is not an ethical shop.

poor workmanship. reusing old spark plugs and wires and charging for new ones. God is watching & some day they will pay back for what they did to me. till then leave in misery

After going in and talking with Mr. Diego and Marco, they knew what I wanted.Had engine and transmission rebuilt with additional parts I wanted.My '97 Nissan truck was compleated on time and the unforeseen items were taken care of after contacting me and given my OK. These people were upfront and honest with me. My truck runs like new, and am very happy that I decieded to save the old truck rather than get a newer one. This was a huge savings to me and I'm glad I found I G Diegos. Grover K
