BRG is awesome. Chad and Chris are total pros. Tuned my new LS376/525 on a '69 Camaro perfectly. If you think the factory tune is fine, you need to see these guys! Added tons of power and runs super smooth. Highly recommend the dyno service. Honest and professional.

Once again a great experience.. Hubby's bike sat for a year Bike wouldn't idle. We were given an estimate of 300 to clean the carb and spark plugs and flush fuel. Only took 1 day. Only charged is 285. And helped my boy load it in truck.. Great off road shop.

I'm giving this team of experts a 5 star. I've been to this shop many times in the past years and just recently had my 2014 650 Ninja in their shop. They pretty much put hands on everything for me when it came to my ninja: body work, dyno tune, lots, etc..Chad took the time to locate all the different aftermarket/custom parts with in a budget. He really helped me make the right choice on some of the parts and with excellent end results to the overall appearance vs. some of the custom parts I had originally picked. That's a big deal any one can install some parts for you but when they give true advice due to experience and their extra time to really do the research (because time is money), then you know your in good hands. My Ninja was dyno tuned by KC in which I must say I'm blown away by the results produced on my Ninja. It runs 1000 times smoother, better throttle response, over all it picks up speed at a much faster rate.
~I definitely recommend BRG~

Finally, a motorcycle shop that cares!
My Goldwing is my baby and my main source of transportation, as my wife takes our SUV to work each day. Thus, I take care in where I take my bike for service.
But in my area, the choices are somewhat limited. Sure, I will take it to the Honda place for warranty work, but for general maintenance or to install new toys that I can't do myself, I am glad to have found BRG Racing. These guys are masters at doing high-end performance tuning on cars and bikes on their Dynamometer, so routine jobs are a piece of cake for them.
Thanks to KC, Chad and Shawn for getting my new all metal valve stems installed so that I can now use my new TPMS. I also appreciated the advice each of them gave to me on various topics. It is also nice that they are conveniently located near places to grab some food while waiting for your ride on quick jobs. So, I suggest that you give them a try...glad I did!

After hearing about these guys from one of my club members, I stopped by to chat. Met KC & Chad, both great guys that know their stuff and want to help. In the conversation they noted I may have a coil (pertronix) conflict with my MSD ignition system (impedance mismatch). I confirmed this with MSD that a failure was indeed eminent and purchased a new matching MSD coil. After removing my old coil I noticed the coil was already starting to fail (cracked and coming apart), this would have soon been a breakdown along side the road somewhere!
Thank you, for your kindness and help!

I use Yelp to find places I trust to do a good job so I feel I need to write this review.
I took my DRZ400 to BRG because it needed valve work at 16k miles. I got the bike back and it ran well at first but not as perfect as I thought it should. I spoke with the owner KC and he corrected the problem, now the bike runs better than it ever did and he did not charge me even though it had been many weeks since I picked it up.
KC stood by his word to make it right and worth the original repair bill I paid. I have since ridden several weekends of hard single track and fire road and the bike runs like a Swiss watch. fast starting, more power and DEPENDABILITY.
Today, KC called me (4 weeks later) to make sure everything was running right which is rare these days. I appreciate good service and integrity so I will use BRG again when the time comes.

KC and his crew are a good, professional, fun lot. I got a bike Tuned years ago by them and recently got another bike. When I looked them up they had moved but I was in luck they had weathered the recession and were still in business. This time I not only needed a tune but also needed to have some electrical cleaned up as I did a rather mediocre job of putting it together myself. The Tune on the Hayabusa I dropped off is phenomenal! KC did a Woolich Racing tune which remapped the ECU. Not only did this save me the cost of a Power Commander, it also rmeoved the factory ecu restrictions. The bike has been unleashed, the throttle response is crisp, clean and outright wicked! The Electrical work his guy did looks great, the wiring looks professional, the install is clean and works great.
I can definitely say they will be a go-to for any performance needs in the future!

Well it started when I took my 98 dodge Dakota in to have some tuning done, it's a completely built 6.7L 408ci stroker with a very mild cam. The reason why I took my truck to BRG is because they are the only shop to use SCT software. I scheduled an appointment with their tuner guy and he took if on a test drive with me and I told him exactly what I was looking for to get a little more power in the top end and adjust the ratios throughout the mid range.
This guy said it shouldn't be a problem and that he recently just did a dodge viper and is very familiar with the software and blah blah blah. Drop the truck off to do dynos and tuning and i believe a week later got a call from chad. Mind you chad is a great guy and very respectful. He proceeds to tell me that I need to pay for a SCT license software for my flash (tune) for the truck since apparently they didn't update their dodge licenses. Even tho I provided my handheld tuner, even with using theirs they would still charge me. (Red flag 1)
Fast forward and they couldn't figure out how my previous tuner could adjust certain things in the software and wanted to get in contact with him (red flag 2). Another week passes and the tuning is done and the truck seemed to test drive fine until I drove it home about 25 miles, 4 engine misfire codes and a TPS code. I reflashed it back to my previous tune and took it into the shop, meanwhile I told them to take a look at the brakes and tell me if they can be improved/adjusted.
Couple weeks later they recommended an electrical brake booster pump since the motor couldn't pull enough vacuum. Several weeks later I got a phone call saying one of the guys backed my truck into something and the tailgate was damaged.
Mind you there is a $8,900 custom candy red paint job on the whole thing I paid for after getting home from an overseas deployment to Iraq. I went to inspect the vehicle and see how the pump worked. The pump seemed to work well other than being on a relay and pulling constant power and ripping off the little rubber mounts when I drove the truck home (25 miles).
KC and chad were very apologetic and I asked them to take it to my painter since there insurance would cover it, welllll me being the nice guy that I am, I agreed to let KC/chad take the tail gate to one of their painters if I provided the paint codes. Several months and several phone calls later I got my tailgate back and mounted on the truck (they didn't have the rest of the truck to match a candy paint to). What do you know it didn't match and there was enough beard hair and orange peel in the clear coat to make you wonder what they were thinking.
Chad and KC wanted me to bring the truck back in so they could address the pump issue but I told them I didn't want them to have anything to do with my truck anymore and thought it was reasonable to ask for a portion of my money back which included the dyno fees and part of the tuning but they would not refund me for the labor on the brake pump because "i didn't give them the chance." The whole time I was extremely cordial to all of them, and he said to take the tail gate to my painter and have it re-done and he would cover it, which has not been done.
$1,800 later and only $300 of it refunded I pretty much paid to have my truck beat up and wrenched on and nothing to show for expect a mismatched tailgate with beard hair it in.
Chad your cool, KC you seem like a good guy but horrible business owner that likes to cut corners in the quality control department. I don't know how your bike work is, but hopefully it's not as shady as your car/truck work.

BRG is truly a diamond in the rough, tough to find initially but you'll be glad you did!! BRG has been nothing short of amazing in getting my bikes where they need to be. They can do ANYTHING, and they do it better than anyone else around!! From standard bolt-ons to one off custom builds or fabrications, this is your one stop shop. And they know horsepower! My bikes have never run stronger! I can't say enough good things about the shop or the staff, all top notch top to bottom! Thanks BRG for all your help! Till next time...

I was referred here a while back by a friend of mine who races motorcycles. I hold this friend to high standards when it comes to motorcycle repair as he does his own repair work quite often and races motorcycles. The first time I went in, it was for tire replacements. It went fast and smooth. The second time I went in, I was in a rush and requested my oil change to be done as fast as possible. I told them while I waited, I was going to go down the street to In N Out and grab a burger. Once I parked at In N Out, I received a call and was told my oil change was done (when I said fast, I didn't think it would be that fast). The third time I went in, my bike wouldn't start. It couldn't have happened at a worse time (day one of a week off of work). They thoroughly looked into the issue and quickly took care of it. I received my bike back very quickly and was incredibly satisfied. Not only that, but they DID NOT CHARGE ME AN ARM AND A LEG. The price was so low, I thought they forgot some things they worked on. Jokingly, they did say if I wasn't satisfied with the price, they could just charge me more. :-) This is my bike shop. I love this place and would ABSOLUTELY refer any of my fellow riders to come here for quick yet incredibly efficient service. Thanks guys. Love it all; the efficiency, the quick and timely manner, the price and the customer service.

The team at BRG are awesome! Professional, informative, and all around good guys. I was initially looking to enhance the look of my bike and just get a factory tune. They ended up doing a dyno tune that increased my performance and gas efficiency. The dyno tune got me 8 more hp and 20% more torque. Numbers are one thing, I could really feel the difference and my adrenaline meter was red lining! I was so happy with the dyno tune that I had them put a cobra powerflo air-intake system and spot tune it again. I can't wait to see the results! Great work guys!

What BRG knows how to do is have some young fella do the work, charge a big shop rate, and the Quality Check is not done.
KC, Nice fella; however, the big issue is that the only check he does, is take your check.
I have had numerous problems with the quality of work performed there.
He may know how to make horsepower but does he need to burn an exhaust can up doing so? Does he need to charge someone money to do a baseline and not provide a graph, ("oh, don't worry it is good enough!") of the engine's performance. If you don't double check your work KC and his crew can get you in deep poop. Somehow these other people have better experiences than myself and some friends who went to get their bikes worked on over a few months period.
Unless he has wised up and pays attention, I'd say AVOID!

KC and crew have done several different projects for me over the years on a couple of bikes both of which are race motorcycles.
I once cracked my engine cases on an EX500 (stupid mistake) and I had them transfer all my engine internals to another set of cases which is not small task. That engine ran great and strong with no issues.
My current bike always seems to have some special need. One of the great things about a small shop like this is they have the patience to think through special needs, and custom projects, and not just slap on "custom" parts out of a catalog. Some of my custom projects have been, unique rearsets, one off sub-frame, fuel caps, along with fixing cracked mounts, and other bits.

My new "go-to" shop for my bike's motor needs. After getting completely screwed over for thousands of dollars on a rebuild and head work at another shop I found BRG.
They sorted out multiple problems including incorrectly degrees cams, bad ecu, and no crankcase venting. Got the bike running strong after many hours of work and were definitely fair in the pricing. I wouldn't say cheap, but one thing I have learned is you get what you pay for.
I really liked that they were great at communications and constantly updating me on the progress of the bike as this was a long running fix.
Thanks for providing great customer service and quality workmanship.

KC and his staff are fantastic. Even if you're not a racer, he can setup a bike to run smooth and efficient.
Recently had carbs cleaned and rejetted, along with regular maintenance items. Fair price, done quickly and they kept me informed of progress along the way (had to order parts).

These guys are great, I rode in on my bike to get new tires. They don't stock tires but instead of sending me on my way, he called around found me the tires I needed and then drove me in his boss's truck to go get them. While we left they got started on my bike, got me in and out. Made a new customer out of me.

I take my bike here because of Chad Hammer. I met him when he worked at the old Concord Motorsports, and really really trust the guy. Trusting the person who works on your bike is a big thing.
My R6 will need a valve check, PC3 and a dyno tune, and when I can afford it, it will be coming back here. Great shop.

I used BRG for building and tuning a race bike and was very pleased with the results and help.
I think they mainly deal with customer motorcycle drop offs, but I wanted to do most of the engine work myself which was not a problem with them. KC (the owner) was very helpful and didn't mind offering me free advise on my build.
I'm sure I was a pest but they were very professional.
After the build, I had them break the motor in on the dyno. I watched the whole procedure and was very pleased with the results. I definitely will be using them again in the future.

I was having real issues with gas mileage and throttle response once I did a couple of Mods to my 2009 yamaha R1, So I scoured over the R-1 Forum and a member said go to BRG they are R-1 Specialists. I have to say he was absolutely right. I cannot believe I rode my bike this long with out having it professionally tuned by KC at BRG racing. My bikes problems are a thing of the past, KC is very knowledgeable and is a master tuner, he broke down to me why my bike was behaving the way it was and what he did to correct it. They even washed it after they were finished, WOW...... They have a life-long customer from now on, I wont take my bike anywhere else for tuning issues or modifications. Thank you KC for transforming my sputtering back-firing R-1 into the performance beast that I knew it could be. I will highly recommend you to all my R-1 friends on my yamaha forum and also the group I ride with.

Brg Dyno Service for me, was outrages - If you like upgrades on your motorcycle they are great. I have a GSXR 750 and they listen to my needs and delivered. I now have a one of a kind 750 with the following upgrads suspension - full exhaust system - power chip - frame sliders - race tuned engine and more. For your sport bike needs you can not go wrong by using Brg. Charles S.

KC knows how to make horsepower. If you're serious about your engine work, go to BRG. I race motorcycles locally with AFM and I cannot tell you how important a good tuner is. KC has encyclopedic knowledge of engine building and how to tune for optimal HP output.

I recently had my truck in to Dex's Automotive for the first time. It hadn't been serviced in quite a while due to me being pretty busy/lazy and it needed it bad. These guys knocked it out quickly and at a REALLY good price! FINALLY - an honest repair shop. Make sure you say hi to the owner Dexter - he's a great guy.
