My vehicle had a deep, denting scratch on the passenger door and chips in both front door moldings. The paint was peeling from the driver's side mirror. I live almost 400 miles away but would be on vacation in this area and out of state, and not needing my car for several days. I contacted JRF Collision Center in Bellflower because they have a FIVE STAR RATING on Yelp. They are the only ones I called, and their rating was the entire reason I selected them.
Six weeks ago, BRANDON wrote me an estimate for the work at a very fair price. I dropped off my car a week ago, and DANNY, the owner, revised the estimate, but included more work for less than $100 more. They managed to find new, replacement moldings that were discontinued and seemingly no one could get. The parts were in the shop, based upon our agreement when I got the estimate weeks before. I picked up my vehicle today, and even more work was done on the car, including the back door moldings! It looks FABULOUS! Not easy for a car with over 197,000 miles on it. I have tried hard to keep it well-maintained and pretty, so this work was very important to me. Don't bother calling anyone else. Make this your first and only call.
This family-owned business has been around for 45 years and three generations, and they are kind, helpful, compassionate people. I highly recommend this business to anyone needing auto body work.

COULDN'T BE HAPPIER!!!!! I was referred to JRF by a friend that had nothing but the best things to say about their shop. I dropped my truck off after a tree fell on it, which, thankfully, was completely covered by my insurance. Danny, Greg and Brandon were so welcoming, friendly and helpful it made the already stressful situation, much easier to deal with. The communication throughout the entire process was excellent. Not only did they do the repairs from the tree, they even took care of a few extra, pre-existing dings that the adjuster didn't include!
They did an absolutely EXCEPTIONAL job! The guys at JRF far exceeded my expectations. I can't say enough good things about them!

JRF Body shop
Did a gread job with my car, and I couldn't be more satisfied with their work!!!
My car stayed at their shop for almost a month cause the person the hit me had a really bad insurance but brandon , greg and dan stayed in contact with me and my wife thru out the whole process. At the end my car looked awesome and brand new again, i would definitely recommend this body to any of my friends and family..

There are no words to describe how great the service is at JRF! Came here after great yelp review. I needes some lil paint jobs on side mirror scratches and few dings on bumper. He gave me an honest advice and saved me $$$..unlike other body shops wouldve told me i needed an paint job that would cost couple hundred, he got rid of the scratches without charging me. Also he advised me buying and replacing the part is cheaper than paint job..i was very surprised but thankful to Danny. Guy is great, and a big time Broncos fan! Go Broncos Danny Lol! Will comeback here anytime i need help.

Danny, Greg, and Brandon, you were an absolute pleasure to work with. The staff at JRF truly went the extra mile to help me keep my nearly 12 year old car on the road. I felt like I was in the drivers seat, as they gave me so much information to help me figure out my options. They didn't hesitate to let me know where I could save money, and never rushed me. They made sure they made everything right on my vehicle that they could, and were honest and upfront about everything. They actually made adjustments to my bill in my favor. That is unheard of these days. They have great relationships with nearby shops, which was very helpful. I can't overstate how genuine these guys are. They really just want to do a great job, and to help the customer. If I or anyone I know needs anything from minor body work to collision repair, this is the first and only call I will make. They truly went above and beyond for me, and I'm super grateful! I went in because they had great reviews on Yelp. Now that its my car that looks brand new, I can tell you...don't hesitate, give them a call. They will take excellent care of you!

I had such a great experience with JRF Body Shop. I moved to Long Beach from Northern California about 5 months ago. I recently bought a new car and about 1 month in of owning it, someone decided to bash my window in and in turn, do quite a bit of damage to my vehicle. To make a situation even worse, all of this took place around the holidays so I was sure that it was going to take months to get my vehicle fixed.
To my surprise, JRF impressed me in all ways imaginable! They worked with my adjuster to ensure that I got all dealer parts because my vehicle was a 2015 and did not even have license plates yet. The turn around time on my vehicle was very speedy, despite longer wait times on my vehicle parts and the holidays. My car looks brand new again and I can't sing their praises enough. Thank you so much Danny, Greg, and the JRF team. I will definitely be using you for all my future body shop needs!

I stopped by here this morning right after scraping the side of my car with another car! The damge looked pretty bad a to me and I was a bit scared about the estimate I would have to show my husband. Brandon and another man (I think the owner) came out to take a look and said let's scrub it with paint thinner and buff it out. I figured after that was done they would look at it and quote me something big. But after all was done Brandon said "it looks good. There's a little dent if you want to fix it but it's not necessary". And he didn't even charge me for his time and work! I mean they could have taken advantage of my emotional state but he was super nice and said just a thank you is enough! I wish I had a before and after picture because it looks brand new :) I'm definitely coming back here if I need a big fix. Their slogan is "we meet the nicest people by accident" but I'll say I was the one who met the nicest person by accident! Thank you so much!

I waited a whole year to write this review Because I wanted to make sure the work they did would hold up and it sure has beautifully. Some places use cheap paint that cracks after a year but not this place.
My jeep was hit by a car and I needed auto work to fix it but the other drivers insurance would only cover for about 70% of damage cost, I went to over 20 shops looking for a shop that would fix the damage that the driver did on my car Plus a small scratch I had in the back of my jeep and somehow make me pay nothing. Im not lying when I say over 20 shops from downey to artestia and not one was willing to work with my dilemma. SO im driving home, I see this place and on a whim stop by and ask. They fixed the damage to my jeep, the scratch on the back and I didnt pay a dime out of pocket. They hooked it up big time and If I ever get into another accident again I know exactly were to go.
Also The work they did was as good as you can get.

I got rear ended on the freeway by a motorcycle going about 60mph and my horrible insurance Mercury referred me to their shop Gregs in Bellflower since that's the city I live in. Having no experience in auto body shops I took my car to Gregs as instructed by Mercury. As soon as I walked into Gregs I felt like just a number. They were very rude and took maybe 2 minutes looking at my damage and told me that it's only the rear bumper cover. I am a big believer in customer service and to help support local businesses which Gregs had none. They get so much business from insurance companies that they don't care about their customers. I left Gregs thinking %#^* this place and drove down the street and bumped into JRF. I walked into their office and was greeted right away with a smile and handshake. They asked me what had happened and heard my story instead of just focusing on the bumper. I mean come on if you get rear ended by a motorcycle on the freeway and the riders body flys to the moon and back and the bike explodes and you make everyone late to work you're going to want to tell that story as much as you can. After story time Danny and Greg (Greg is not related to Gregs auto shop just some dude named Greg that works with Danny at JRF) went outside and looked at my car. They did a thorough inspection and found other damage to my car that Gregs auto shop didn't want to fix to save Mercury insurance money. Today I picked up my car and JRF did a fantastic job. They were very professional and quick and kept me informed on any issues with Mercury. I will definitely go to JRFs again if I need any work done to my cars. Danny is a great person that supports a lot of organizations that deals with special needs kids and gives back to the community. This is the kind of place and person I support. After reading all of the reviews on yelp I read that 1 star review and that guy sounds like a diva. And if you are wondering what happened to the motorcycle rider he lived and ran away from the scene. Talk about iron balls.

Having very little experience with body shops, I will admit I had minimal expectations when it came to getting my car fixed. To me, you drop off a car and expect it to look just like it did before an accident, and that's about it. JRF gets 5 stars from me because of how far they exceeded expectations with the quality of service and work done to my car.
When I was swiped on the freeway, a friend of mine who had previous work done here recommended this shop to me. Although my damages were minor, my car looked BRAND NEW when I drove it home. In the 6 days or so that my car was there, I was consistently updated with the status of my car, and my insurance agent was too. Not being left in the dark created less work and worry for me, which I absolutely appreciated. The attention to detail and explanation of the work done not only provided comfort but a level of trust that I wasn't expecting from a body shop. The guys there are super friendly and really know their stuff. I have already recommended this shop to 2 family members who have had the same positive experience as I have. It's good to know that there is a place like JRF that I would completely trust my car with for anything in the future.

My mom took her car a Suzuki XL to JRF and the manager GREG was super friendly. Over all my mom had a really good experience and the the manager made sure that everything that was being explained to my mother was done in Spanish. They took there time to explain no rushing or blowing her off. They did such a wonderful job that she is going back to get some other issues fixed. So yes i 100% recommend this place. My mom left very satisfied and now i know where I'll be taking my own car. Thanks to the manager Greg and his staff.

I definitely recommend JRF Body Shop to anyone that needs service and repair to their vehicle. Quick, friendly and they know what they're doing! Not like these other hole in the wall, money hungry shops. I had Greg T. help me out with my car not too long ago. This guys is an expert when it comes to his work ethic. I will definitely be back again if I have any repairs that need to be taken care of.

This is on an experience I had nearly 4 years ago. I had an accident and the front end of my truck was completely thrashed. They were able to quote me within the fixable range of my insurance, so they were able to take care of the damages. When I picked my truck up a few of the other dings were taken care of as well. The front end was beautiful, as if the accident never happened.
I always refer people here, and if I ever have a need for a body shop, my vehicles will be taken here.

I LOVE this place! I came to JRFs after my car was hit by my apartment gate and needed some minor repairs. Upon arrival at the repair shop, I was greeted by a friendly guy who I later learned was the owner, Danny. His staff not only removed the scratches from my car, they went above and beyond by removing the oxidation from my headlights (with no charge!!!!). He did such a great job on my car that sat there in shock for a few moments! To be honest, the repairs were made to my car today and I was so excited that I just had to yelp about it!
The owner is very knowledgeable, honest and humble. His business is one of the few body shops who's willing to do a superb job while keeping the customer's best interest in mind. Accidents are never fun and oftentimes finding a collision repair shop can be a daunting task. However, Danny is compassionate, understanding, and has a way of making the customer feel as if everything will be okay and that their car is in good hands. I highly recommend this place and should my car ever need body repairs, I will be coming back!!!!

I've referred several clients to JRF for minor to substantial repairs, and the results have always been great.
If a customer's car is damaged while in my care, and things do happen when you service a few thousand cars a year, Danny and his crew make it look like it never happened, even years afterward. That's especially important in this kind of situation.
Not many people patronize a body shop many times a year, every year, but as someone who does, I can say with authority that JRF does consistently great auto body and paint work! Strong recommend.

Danny (owner) and Greg are beyond amazing!!! In short, there was an incident with my 2012 Cruze, and the bumper detached and there was a few inches of paint scraped off. My dealer doesn't do body work, so the service guy referred me to Danny, who even came to the dealership where I was having my oil changed to look at my car. He have me advice and really cared about helping me. They took care of everything for me, made me feel stress free and provided top-notch customer service! My car looks the same as the day I drove it off the lot; paint matches PERFECTLY!!! I will never take my car anywhere else! I have found my bod shop for life!

I've had bad luck with cars in my 7 years of driving( my first car was totaled by an uninsured drunk driver and with my new car I've had some mysterious minor hits while I left my car parked in different locations). Well today I went on yelp to find a body shop closer to home...and I am so glad I chose JRF Body Shop because they treated me so nicely. This past weekend I found my license plate hanging off as I walked out of work...I wanted to get this fixed. The guys at JRF were all very helpful and assisted me right away. My front bumper is not the original bumper the car came with because my neighbor backed-up into my car in May so I had my bumper replaced at a body shop in Whittier. Apparently, those people GLUED my license plate to the bumper instead of screwing it properly, and the two screws they had used underneath the plate were the wrong screws. I would have never known about this had it not been for the guys at JRF who not only screwed my plate back on the bumper they also replaced the wrong screws with the correct ones. There were also minor tire marks on my bumper and they waxed those right off.
Afterwards they unclipped my back bumper which was a little off.. the worker at JRF clipped it in the correct way and it now looks perfect.........and to top it all off after all of this was fixed I had asked for a price and they said NOTHING. It made my day no only because I was treated so nicely but also because I realized they didn't take advantage of me. I clearly showed no knowledge of cars and I could have been an easy target to make some quick cash off of. I'm a 23 year old female and I went into the shop thinking I will most likely be overpriced just because I knew I could be easily tricked, however they treated me fairly. I know the fixes were minor but just these little things they did show a lot about a business and I truly appreciate it.
I definitely recommend this place and if I ever have any future problems with my car or with my mother's car I will make sure to go back to JRF Body Shop.

This is my third time to JRF in the past 3 years to have body work done. All 3 total to over 14k in work on my truck. I selected JRF because of a referral from a family member and because I wanted to support local small business in my town. Each of the 3 times the truck was there for two weeks to 4 weeks. The first two times I went to pick up my truck, there were numerous issues with imperfections in the paint, clear coat and/or final detail. After pointing out the issues, the owner agreed to fix them but, not before making comments that " it's just a truck" or "stop being so picky". It is a truck but, that doesn't mean that there should be any less attention to detail or less quality work performed on it. JRF's prices to the insurance co. don't change whether it's a car or a truck. This last time, after 2 1/2 weeks of being there, I was called saying my truck would be ready in 45 minutes and to come pick it up. They did say I would have to drop off my tonneau cover later for a buff after the paint fully cured. I arrived at JRF 2 hours after they called to find my truck my truck looking like it had been through an off road race inside and out. Greg instructed his guys to give it a quick wash. As the guys started to spray water on my truck greg began to dry my hood with a chamois. Before they washed it! No soapy wash brush or mit, just wiping off the dirt and dust off my hood with a chamois!!! So as I walk around to inspect the work performed, I find the tape they used to adhere the fender flair that they painted not sticking and the flair hanging away from the body and has multiple finger prints and grease marks under the clear coat. The lead shop man then tells me that, the truck will have to come back in for a few days to buff the fender, fender flair and tonneau cover! Not just drop off the tonneau cover to buff because it isn't dry yet! I find the locks (2)installed in the tonneau worked different from each other. I find the used gear shift leaver they installed, covered in dirt and sticky nasty goo. After helping the guys wash my truck, I pull the truck out of the shop only to find that a part of the ignition key switch is missing! After getting the truck out in sunlight I find the paint is off a few shades and I also find more scratches in the tonneau cover. He says that the paint isn't off much and was hoping it will fade. I point out the scratches to the staff in-which he replies,"that wasn't part of the bid". I feel that if you find things are not right you should contact the customer and explain that it is not part of the work scope and it will be $x more to make it right before you just paint it! Now I'm stuck not only having to fix the scratches but have to repaint the whole tonneau to make it right! So I go into the office to talk with the manager, he tells me that they will not accept a personal check and demands that I pay in full if I want to take my truck. I explain that the work is not complete and that I don't think it should pay in full until the job is done. He calls the owner who is screaming on the phone and instructs the manager to allow me to pay by check but not to allow me to leave with the truck without full payment. After some heated discussion, I cut a full check to them and leave. Upon driving home I find that my power mirrors don't work. I look into it and find that the drivers door panel wasn't properly installed and that the wiring to my power mirrors was cut! So, here I am once again with JRF, needing to take my truck back for them for a few days to finish incomplete work that I was told was done! Out of allowance for rental car from my insurance because they took so long doing the repairs, no power mirrors, and out of patience with dealing with a company that feels that 90% right is good enough. If you are ok 90% done right and a company talking a long time to get that 90% done, then JRF auto body is the place for you!

I have brought in several vehicles for repair.....my personal cars as well as my work vehicles. The job was always completed on time and they are always willing to go the extra mile. What can I say but... this place is great! I had my brand new Venza for less than a month before some kids wrestling on my street decided they wanted to push up against my brand new car and put a dent in it! an you believe that??? Well I took it to JRF and they fixed it in no time! I couldn't believe it! You couldn't even tell there was a dent there. I couldn't thank them enough! The customer service was great as well. There were no questions left un answered. This is my new body shop of choice.. Good work JRF!!!

Yea, it finally happened. Someone hit me and I did not hesitate to take my car to JRF! They worked with the insurance claim adjuster and agreed to fix the car for what the insurance company was willing to pay. I brought the car in to start work on Monday and they called me to let me know the car was done today! The finished product is superb! If I had to have my cars fixed again, I would not hesitate to return. This shop rocks! Now I can personally recommend them. Just go.

The staff at JRF are not only professional and experienced, but they offer amazing customer service. The owner is willing to take jobs as simple as replacing a side mirror and they are done quickly and cost a reasonable amount. Danny will work with your insurance to make sure everything that can be covered is, and at minimal cost to the customer. My parents started taking their cars here years ago, and I've continued the tradition.

My son got a sratch on the side of his vehicle. He took into JRF. They did a wonderful job fixing it, and even did little extras, and they were just little things. The problem I had, was that they took almost 3 weeks to fix it. I had to share my car with my son, and that was a major pain. If they would have done the job more quickly, I would have given them 5 stars. Like I said, they did do beautiful work though.

You couldn't ask for a better body shop, than JRF! They take care of you like an individual, not just another car to fix. They've done a BEAUTIFUL job with my car and were very patient, when it was in a accident and I immediately took it over there, rather than the impound yard. They were also very patient when they had to take the car to the dealership when the passanger seat was broken. And, when the driver seat was found to be broken as well, they apologized profusely and made amends, and got that fixed by the dealership, VERY QUICKLY. I trust them like a really close family member.
