I brought my 91 Isuzu pickup here that has a total value of about $2,000. I asked for a simple diagnosis and told the manager that I'd decide what I wanted to do from that point forward knowing it's not worth throwing a bunch of money at.
After it was diagnosed I went in and he read off a long list of things that was wrong with my truck and the prices that were well over the value of the truck itself- which is fine. It's an old truck and there is a lot of potential work.
What I didn't like was the resistance and attitude I got when I told him that I just wanted to do the o2 sensor replacement and hold off on the rest until I had the finances and some time to prioritize the long list of repairs. I felt pressured to get all the work done when all I asked for was a diagnosis and some tweaking to make it run smooth.
I think it would be helpful next time if the mechanics met the customer where they are at with finances and the age/ future of their vehicle. My truck is no Mustang and my tax bracket is one of the lower one's so I can't throw $3,000 down on a little A to B blue collar work truck. Instead of rattling off a long list of all the possible repairs it would have been helpful and less shady to say, "hey, if you just do A, B, C, that'll probably get you on your feet and going for the next few years."
What they do have going for them is speedy turn around time and good customer service... but be careful of smooth talking and buttering up in exchange for high rates.
Not recommended for young hard workers who have to watch their budgets.

Again, my poor little car was having trouble. She has over 250,000 miles on her original engine. Well, into the shop she went. Yesterday I received a text saying she was ready. I was impressed with the new software that allows me to communicate via text. They sent me pictures of the issues I was having and I could see exactly what was being fixed. Needless to say I was happy with my service. Thank you Pro Pacific Guys for taking care of my little CRV.

What a horrible experience. This may be a popular spot to take your vehicle, but I don't recommend it. Number one issue, they don't stand behind their work.
I had to take my truck to another shop to get it fixed after spending over $4,000 at this shop. They gave me poor advice on how to fix my issues, and kept recommending I spend more and more money. After they refused to do any more work without charging me more money, I took my truck to my trusted mechanic in Oregon who fixed the problem with one hour's labor and documented that Pro Pacific screwed up. Pro Pacific denied it, even though my truck runs great now and refused to cover the fix from the other shop. They over charge for parts, are poor communicators, take forever to try to fix things, and are overconfident in their own abilities.

My wife and I were very impressed by the quality of work performed on both of our cars by the staff at Pro Pacific. They were very good at scheduling our appointments with the parts already ordered so there was no time delays. The only reason for a loss of a star is this place is not cheap. I will, however, be taking my car back to Pro Pacific for its next tune up.

In 2009 I purchased a new Nissan Frontier.
After the first FREE dealer service, I switched to Pro Pacific because they had installed a camper shell and kayak racks on a previous vehicle.
They did the same for my new one and I had them service it too.
Because of their quick, and efficient service, I have taken my vehicles here for repairs and service since then. The staff is knowledgable and friendly. Their rates are competitive and I have never felt overcharged. Tire rotation and an interior and exterior wash are included.
I have also recommended this shop to others who have had good service from them. This shop is a great alternative to dealer shops.
Most of the customers I have chatted with in the waiting room are long term customers that have come here for years. To me, that's the best recommendation any business can get.

These guys are awesome! They were completely swamped and without any hesitation managed to squeeze me in and get my car looked at. There's no telling what kind of condition my car would Benin if they hadn't filled my car with oil, which was bone dry and even did a thorough "once over" on my car to identify the cause. I cannot think them enough for what might seem to some as them merely doing their job, but it have found the place in eureka for all my future repairs. Thanks a million!

DO NOT GO HERE!! I have no idea why the have so many stars. It wasn't just once that they messed my car up it was three times the first time they scratched my rims when my rims were practically perfect when I took my car in but I thought mabey it was just a accident so I decided to give them another chance so I took my Range Rover to them next and they called me saying my transmission was on limp mode (broke) when I took in there just fine then to add it all up they BROKE MY DOOR HANDAL and basically said "fuck u were not fixing it" when they are the ones who broke it!! you guys are not about ur business!! Cost me more money to repair shit they broke!!

I was on a road trip from Sonoma county up to Portland when I noticed a my 2009 Tacoma was making a strange noise. I pulled into a shop on the north side of Laytonville where they figured out a ball bearing was going out on my front driver side. He did not have time to fix it so he sent me up to his cousin Mike, at Pro Pacific. I arrived at 3 on Friday, they had me out of there and back on the road by 5:20. Replaced the roaters and washed the windows too!
They were fast, friendly and kept me entrained with stories about the adventures of their youth. Wasn't cheap, but I felt their work was quality, and I appreciated their readiness to do a big job late on Friday and to get this traveler back on the road!

I am always scared to take my car to a new auto repair shop. I got top notch service. All of the guys I interacted with were extremely friendly and Mike was kind enough to explain everything they were doing and why and what they found wrong. They didn't push me into other repairs at the time. They sure didn't take advantage of me like I feel at other places. I would recommend Pro Pacific to anyone.

We've been taking our cars here for a couple of years now and have been very happy with the level of service. Everyone I have dealt with has been very professional and honest. They will let you know what needs to be done, and help help prioritize any needed repairs. I take advantage of the shuttle service which makes it easy for me to service my vehicle during the week without missing any work. Bottom line - they provide great service, are honest, and make it easy.

Ok, so I must be the first to review? Ok, lots of people I know take their cars here. We did once before today,like 4 years ago and my hubby was a bit ticked cause they put in a radiator, it did need one, but my hubby wanted a SPECIFIC one and wanted to be notified and wasnt. So we got stuck with the radiator that works ok, but not the one we wanted. We have a classic car, so, we look hard for the best stuff, we buy the stuff, you put it in, OK?
OK, so today's experience, we took in the same car for an inspection (they do it for FREE!) and a minor tune up. OK, not bad. They really advise you well and aren't there to make a buck. Hugo and Ford were great. BUT, they told my hubby one thing and me another and my hubby, well, let them know. They corrected the issue pronto. BUT be advised, I am a smart woman, like MOST women I know, I know cars. I know this car, very well. Don't say you broke a spark plug when you told hubby spark plugs were just worn out. OH and do not put the broken spark plug back in the car. Yes, we wanted to do our own spark plugs, since they were WORN OUT, not broken. But if you break it, you fix it, ok? Great. No labor charged,(they wanted big bucks for labor on that. UHHH, no.) new spark plug put in. We will do the rest, later.
3 stars cause they really really inspected my car and I knew it had a leak and they told me how much it would be to fix it and that I could wait a little bit. Very upfront, in that respect. Cheers

I have been taking my vehicles to this shop since 1995. Recently I had my car over heat while driving. I called the shop and they walked me through getting my car safely to their shop. It happened to be one hose that had a leak, they replaced it without charging me! It was recommended that I have my hoses replace considering they were original and I had almost 250,000 miles on my little car. They didn't pressure me to make my appointment right then but I called later to schedule it. My schedule is hectic and they made it so easy by taking to work and picking me up when my car was finish. I've never had anything but good service from these gentlemen. Thank you!

My transmission disintegrated and I didn't know where to take it. The tow truck driver recommended Pro Pacific as that was the place he used, Wow! I received wonderful service there. They were fast, efficient, fair and even helped me with the rental car and payment options. It was like going home and having your big brothers help you out of a bad situation! Restored my faith in the human race. I broke down rocker/lifter with 39 Ford HotRod on a saturday night north of Fortuna 200 miles from home.Mike,owner, stopped and offered to open his shop for my towed ride. Gave me a ride back 27miles to my motel in Fortuna.He called later and had determined the damage.but no parts available.The organizers of the show found the parts and delivered them to my motel. I scored a ride to Eureka sunday morning and dropped the parts in Mikes' mail slot. He came in later with his senior tech and I was on my way home by 1:00 PM. Who does this? They ROCK.

Travelling down from Vancouver Island on Hwy 101, vacation road trip, when my exhaust pipe failed. The only place open on Saturday I could find was Pro Pacific Auto. I stopped by in the morning and they were very busy and I could see a line up of vehicles and customers there. After explaining my situation to Bill, a technician came and looked and figured it might be patched. Bill squeezed us in and the job was done in about 1 1/12 hours. They did much more than a patch job using spare parts they fortunately found. They provided us with a shuttle to and from our hotel while we waited. Thanks for the ride Victor! An awesome bunch of guys, very professional and courteous. They bailed us out big time. Highly recommended! Big time!! Nice memory of Eureka! Good folks there!

Fixed my car, gave it back to me with no gasoline in the tank (I left it with half a tank), and a dead battery. When I asked why these two things happened, they tried to BS me about how it's my fault that the battery is dead. Pretty lame, but at least they got the car back to me quickly.
