I used to have all my vehicle work done here under the old ownership. I brought a non-running vehicle there and they found out it was just a fuse. No charge, just the tow fee. I later brought my vehicle here for brakes and they wanted to completely replace my rotors, although the brakes were just now starting to show they needed replaced. They wanted $800 for the work. I took it to another shop for a second opinion and they resurfaced the rotors and replaced the pads for about $200. I then learned this place was under new ownership. I'm just thankful I had enough prior automotive experience to know that my rotors were not beyond repair.

Used them in 2013. Was not happy. Took in my 2004 kia rio color blue for a problem with the water pump. Verbal estimate was 500 ended up 800.0. And still would not drive right because of a broken belt which supposedly caused other issues and the estimate was 1,300.00. I was very specific if it was anymore i would just chuck the car. It was 2, 300 because they claim they had to farm the work out to a machine shop. Then some hose connector broke so i was out 3, 200 and scrapped the car for 500.00.
They should have told me car was dead on arrival. They kept saying it was repairable but the repairs far exceeded the amount the car was worth.
In the end i took it to Christian brothers who flat out told me dont put another dime in this trap.
Bought new car. Never used davids again. Have plenty friends ask me where to go and i send them elsewhere.

I never write reviews but I had to make an exception in this case. Why would I spend my money at a business that did not have any customer service? I found the owner to be rude, unhelpful and unappreciative of his customers. I could chalk it up to a bad day, but he is like that every time I go there. I finally decided that I didn't want to spend my hard earned money at a business that acted like they didn't want me there. Maybe, that's why all his front desk people recently quit?

I do most of my own vehicle maintenance, but I didn't have the time or tools to replace the brakes and rotors on my truck. I called David's Automotive and they were able to take it in the next day and do the replacement. While working on the truck, Johnny called to let me know the progress and when it would be finished - which was later that day. I was able to pay over the phone and picked up the truck right as they were closing. As a small business owner myself, I appreciate the great service, contact, and quick turnaround. I couldn't ask for anything more from an auto repair company. Thanks!

I've had front suspension issues for over a year now. I've taken my 2005 GTO to several different places and purchased several apparently unneeded parts to resolve these issues. Chris said "I personally pulled and prodded on everything up front.". That almost, no joke, gave me chills. My dad always said that if something is worth doing then its worth doing right. Chris and his guys took the time and looked over all possible problems. That's worth a ton in my book. They finally found the upper strut mounts were built in the wrong order by a previous garage. He rebuilt them and called me to tell me he wasn't going to charge me for the work. Not only did he find the solution but he was gonna do it pro bono? Wow. Awesome. I wound up making him charge me something. There car has never driven better. Thanks guys.

My dad took his truck in for repair for a computer problem last week. David's Automotive Repair was unable to properly diagnose the repair. Davids charged over $200.00 for the checkout / diagnostic fee. My Dad ended up having the vehicle towed to another repair shop. They were able to quickly diagnose the issue.

I think a lot of people would agree that finding an honest automotive repair business is very difficult. After doing my research, I decided to bring my Infiniti to David's. My initial conversation with Johnny was impressive. I was confident that I was in good hands to determine why the transmission was slipping. David had to get involved when Crest Infiniti demanded the car be brought to their shop where they decided the entire transmission needed to be replaced. David disagreed, and was definitely looking out for me! His transmission tech reprogrammed the transmission and completed the repair in no time. It's very comforting knowing that there are honest people in the auto repair business where the customer is at their mercy. I highly recommend David's for any needed auto repairs. Thank you!

Brought car in for diagnosis after trouble lights came on; also needed oil/filter/lube. Diagnosis indicated hybrid battery problem, which was under warranty from different garage. Surprisingly, wasn't charged normal diagnostic fee, which was appreciated. :-) I have been taking my cars to this garage/location for many years since moving here over 20 years ago, even when under previous ownership. I have tried other garages and keep coming back. Mr. Nix and his staff have always come through. When the occasional hiccup crops up, he makes it right. I trust him.

I have been going to David's Automotive for probably 10 years now. I originally found David's because I had my car somewhere else for repair and the quote was crazy high. I took it to David's and the quote there was half of what the previous place had quoted me. Since then I have sent other people to David's when they have mentioned costly repairs and they also reported that it was much more reasonable at David's than their previous quote was. As a single mom of four kids, every penny counts, and I feel like I am getting a good price at David's every time. I rely on my car to get me and my kids where we need to be and not get stranded somewhere. But, its an older car with lots of miles. Each time I take it in, they check it over and let me know if anything looks like its starting to have problems. But, I feel like I can trust them too--I don't feel like they tell me something needs repaired when it doesn't. They are always friendly and I'm always very comfortable going there. It's nice to have a place I can trust.
