This is a good, trustworthy place to get your car fixed or maintained. The pricing was reasonable, and the turn around time was excellent. I was stranded when my car shut off at 1:00PM and by 4:30 Super Plus Automotive had my car fixed and handed back to me, can't ask for faster service than that. And as the other reviews already notate, Mike, the owner, is well versed in knowing his stuff when it comes to car problems and solutions. He's personable, and most importantly you don't get that sleazy mechanic's vibe that I've become so accustomed to prior to finding this shop.
My has since run flawlessly and hasn't shut off once. The place is great, they explain everything to you in laymen's terms, they make everything very black and white so there's no confusion, and the pricing is decent, can't ask for more than that.

I was in a huge time crunch as I was heading out to Fort Leonard Wood on Tuesday. My car started leaking oil on Saturday so I called a bunch of shops first thing Monday morning.
I was able to narrow down the leak to the AN fitting from my turbo kit and went out and bought a new AN fitting (more on that later). All of the shops I called stated they were either too busy to replace the fitting or even take a quick look. Mike with Super Plus was very friendly over the phone and said he would take a look whenever I got to his shop.
I got the part and went to Super Plus. After taking off the undertray and confirming the cause of the leak, we realized the fitting was wrong (Hose-Man stated the part I needed was female to female when in fact I needed a male to female). Mike used his personal vehicle to drive us to Hose-Man to get the correct part, which they didn't have. He then drove to the other side of town in order for us to get the necessary parts from King Bolt Co (if you need car parts, go here first before Hose-Man).
After we got back to the shop, Mike's tech El Jefe (sp?) was able to quickly replace the fitting and top off the oil. The cost was very fair and I am leaving to Fort Leonard Wood with confidence in my car now. Thanks for helping me out on such short notice Mike, 5 star service!

Was looking for a Nissan mechanic and found Super Plus on a local ad, checked out his Yelp reviews and gave them a try. I was not disappointed.
Mike was attentive, explained everything on the bill, offered to have me look at replaced parts and fixed a few minor things at no charge. He worked on my 350z, I'll be bringing my BMW to him next.

These guys went out of their way to help us out, and they did a great job! We made the mistake of letting our buddy change the break pads on our truck, and 30 miles into our 2,000 mile road trip, the caliper ceased up on the freeway. The wheel almost caught on fire and we immediately got off the freeway and looked up auto shops. We called several places before we called Super Plus and none of them said they could help us before the next day. We called Super Plus and he said to come on over and he'll help us out right now!
It was 4pm when we showed up and the owner Mike and his guys got us a new caliper, resurfaced the rotor and fixed several other things for us within 2 hours. He really hooked us up knowing we were about to drive across the country. It really says a lot about a business when they totally go out of their way to make sure your car is set for a trip like this, especially at the end of the workday when it was dark outside and they still had more cars to work on! Our truck hasn't driven this well since we bought it, plus the price was wayyy less than we thought it'd be.

Great service. Fixed my car and even fixed a few things for free and negotiated to keep the car in my price range. Excellent service and ownership really knows what he's doing. He also took in my girlfriends car after hours and did same day service on her failed brakes. I would highly suggest coming here for service and solid pricing.

Allow me to bring some perspective to the rest of the positive reviews for Super Plus Auto. Michael is a good mechanic and has superior customer service skills, I'm sure he's a certified good person with certified "quantify-human-decency-and-turn-it-into-money" skills for that matter.
My regular mechanic was closed (it was Sunday) and Michael came to my aid, however, you may find yourself in the same boat as me asking how he justifies charging $100/hr. I'm sure there are plenty of mechanics out there with similar credentials who'd love to work on antique cars and charge more per hour, but if you're in the market for a fair deal on an average car repair job (such as was my case) he's not the place to go.
I felt an extremely strong sense of entitlement when he went over his pricing and considering it was an emergency (for God's sakes he insisted on pushing my car up to his lot on his own) I didn't really have a choice but to be wooed by his niceness and nebulous guarantees of a better job well done than "that guy over there, you know, the one with a lack of white customers"....well okay. Honestly, the way I'd rather justify paying an extra $100 was as a convenience charge for pushing my car up the driveway (including the extra huffing and panting, jeez I get it already!) and paying rent for the 2 days I spent at his shop because I DID really appreciate that. But these days people want a cash advance on doing appreciable acts. A mandatory gratuity charge if you will. Must be in the fine print of all those framed papers on the wall.
My car came back in good condition and repaired as was expected however I can't help but mention how something completely unrelated to the repair job breaks down right after I get it back. I suppose it was destiny that my a/c broke down all the way (from working at 50%) but it surely doesn't elevate my satisfaction.
Overall it was a strange experience which I had hoped would be a slam dunk. I'm not cheap but $100 extra for not being blown away is a little over an average week of groceries for 1 that was legally stolen. Go to a mechanic who is open to negotiation even in an emergency. And if you're thinking "you don't need to sign the contract then", think again...really? Keep pondering the concept of a good mechanic. That'll be the day.

Led by Mike A., this quality anyone receives here is top tier and I am appreciative to have come across such a mechanic that represents honesty and integrity. My car kept stalling out and my co-worker told me about this place. I'm ALWAYS skeptical when it's comes to mechanics (like everyone else). I decided to check them out on Yelp, I found everyone's reviews REALLY helpful, even the ones in the "not recommended" section.
Anyway, I met Mike and he was friendly and super helpful from the get go. I want to know everything wrong about my car and he was patient and extremely helpful in answering all my questions. I have no problems leaving my car with him and recommending to anyone in need of a mechanic.

Michael is the new owner/mechanic for more than 5 months now. After talking with Michael and discussing my actual usage, needs, budget, etc etc he never gave me high pressure, just facts and options on how to repair my car. Honesty and fairness is what i finally found. Ive been through more than 8 mechanics and i finally found someone that's easy going, understanding and knows what they are doing with no upselling things i dont need!!!! And what i like is that he takes me inside and shows me what's the problem on my car. I was looking for a place to care for my car for awhile now and I am very happy i finally did. He has gone over and above to take care of my car needs at all times. Talk to michael and you will see.

I come here alot, the took a POS honda, replaced the engine, I got a new AC system installed, they have fixed every lil thing that pops up almost every month, they keep me updated, we discuss new forms of actions with problems, the old beater runs great thanks to them, I dont drive scared, this is why I keep coming back

Michael's what you want when you need a mechanic. He's great. I swing through with an intermittent A/C issue and he was willing to step away from an extremely busy shop (on a freaking Saturday, mind you) to look at it.
I offered to pay somehging and he said that he didn't want anything because he didn't fix anything.

My wife and I recently purchased a used BMW and needed to make sure that everything was mechanically/electronically sound. My wife took the car to Super Plus and was thoroughly impressed with her overall experience. He did an extremely detailed bumper to bumper inspection on the car and gave us a good price on the few issues that he found. It is nice to know that I can take my car to someone who is a total pro with great customer service and who definitely won't take advantage of people. I can say with confidence that my wife and I have found a life long mechanic.

I came to get my car checked out here after being recommended by a friend. It was making weird sounds and wobbling when I would brake and I was due for an oil change. The owner Mike was very helpful, showed me what was wrong with my car and explained what I needed to have done very clearly. The prices are very fair and they were able to take care of my car quickly. It's so hard to find a mechanic that I trust since I don't know much about cars, but I felt very comfortable there. Will definitely go back for future needs.

I took my car to Super Auto Plus recently, and i must say that i have no doubt found my new spot to take care of all my cars needs. This is the first time I can honestly say "I trust my mechanic"! Michael is the owner and he truly cares about your safety in the vehicle he services. He went that extra mile to research and be as cost effective as possible to fix what was necessary on my vehicles. This was no easy task!!! Elusive electrical issues and complicated, non standard parts, did not deter these two guys from diagnosing and fine tuning what was necessary to make my vehicles safe and functional! Other mechanics merely bandaid the issue, take your money, and the problem will come back. You don't need to worry about that with these guardian angels watching over your car!
