Was first referred to Ace Automotive ~2005 by a friend and have been a loyal customer ever since. They are always straightforward and honest about work that truly needs to be done. Ace has never suggested work that was unnecessary. I've never felt that they've taken advantage of my lack of mechanical knowledge; instead, I'm always confident that they are looking out for my best interests.

Under new ownership. My wife asked for Robert. The guy on the phone said several times "Robert's here." So we had the car towed there. Turns out he was mis-leading. Robert retired and sold the store. Then they charged me $350 for an alternator for my son's $800 car. I told him I found one at autozone for $75. He said he would charge me $130 for the part from Autozone, Huh? Then he said he only uses factory parts so he doesn't want to have to do the warranty work if the cheaper part goes bad. He said "besides I've already ordered the part and started on it". I never said go ahead and get the $180 part, he just did it. Then I told him just do it since the car was there already(to see Robert). He said he would have the car done before we left for vacation. Got no phone call so we went away for a week. Turned out he ordered the wrong part in the first place. If we weren't leaving I would have done it myself for $80. He told us that it would have cost the same if I had done it. He must have failed 3rd grade math because $80 is LESS THAN $350. Good luck with your business you're gonna need it.

The best honest shop I know of. They always take care of you and explain any repairs needed. I went in the first time thinking I needed brakes but they explained I had about another five thousand miles on them. Most shops would have done the brakes.

Been taking my car here for about a year now. Anytime I've compared prices with other places Ace comes out with best price. Had a mechanic at another place tell me i needed a $600 oil pan because my oil pan bolt was stripped. Took it to Ace, they changed my oil and I was out the door for $30 and didn't need the bolt replaced because it was never stripped to begin with. I highly recommend this place.

I am very impressed by Ace Automotive and the service they provide.
I brought my Saturn in for routine brake service a few months ago. Their price was very competitive, and they finished the service in a reasonable time.
A few months later, my car began to make some loud scraping/scratching noises. I brought the vehicle back to Ace Auto to have them investigate the problem. They found that the problem was caused by a broken brake spring. Although the broken spring was no fault of their own, they stated that they felt they should have caught the potential problem earlier when I had brought the car in for the routine service. They fixed my car's problem, and did not charge me anything for the repairs!
I am truly astounded by their generosity in the matter. I feel it reflects the responsibility they take over each of their customers. I will definitely continue to give them my business.

Robert and Charlie (and their team) are honorable men and great mechanics. We have 5 cars and take all of them to Ace - a tricky BMW, a corvette, Honda Pilot, Honda Fit, and a Ford Flex. Any time we have had a car issue, Robert has been able to save us time, money, and completely fix the problem. In addition, when it isn't worthwhile to spend the money to fix an issue - he honestly conveyed that - saving us a fortune. We had an estimate for the Pilot from the dealership - work they said 'needed' to be done - almost 1700.00. Robert said most of it wasn't necessary and did what WAS needed - for 140.00!! We feel really fortunate to have a reliable, trusted business to work on our cars - keeping us safe on the road. We cannot recommend Ace automotive highly enough!! You are in good hands there...

I have used Ace on multiple jobs now. Everything from a brake job up to repairing the entire AC system. The guys there were extremely honest and knowledgeable. Their pricing is old school, where they charge for parts and labor without huge markups. I checked their pricing against several other shops and the dealer and when everyone else was quoting 1200-1600, Ace's price was $900 taxes and all. On one job they fixed what they believed was a major fix. Turned out they were wrong. Put everything back the way it was and absorbed the cost of the repair. They didn't have to tell me about it but they called and let me know what was going on, made the repairs needed and got me on the road again. I've since sent several friends and family over there. They have all been happy.

I found the owners of Ace to be very helpful in making the decision not to repair my car, because it would not be worth it. They gave me estimates best and worst case and let me decide with no pressure. The car was not drivable and I left it with them for about ten days while I sold it on Craigslist. I was not charged for their helpfull advice. They are an approved AAA repair shop which is how I found them. I will go back to them without hesitation.

Most honest mechanic in the world! Was referred by my boyfriends parents who have used them for ever and I was very happy! They run a legit operation over there. Ask for Robert, he's the man! wont let you pay for a service you dont need and he is very thorough and fairly priced. Brought My acura in at 80k and asked for a tune up, he kindly let me know I really wasnt due until after 100k but still offered just to take a look under the hood in case! Since then he's done all the work on our familys cars, it's a good feeling to have an honest mechanic finally around here!

Absolutely an honest, straight forward establishment, that really knows its stuff. I've been bringing my Dodge 1/2 ton pu here for years. Even had them rebuild the transmission. Always great service and fair pricing with a thorough explanation of what is needed while laying out all options. Robert really knows customer service.

I'm always skeptical taking my car in to get serviced because it's easy for a mechanic to take advantage of people who don't know anything about cars.
I just got my car back from getting the A/C serviced at Ace Auto. I was originally worried that it was something major (compressor), but when I found out it was just a missing fuse, I was beyond relived. The problem is that a fuse doesn't just fall out and walk away...someone had to have physically removed it. Last place I took my car to get serviced was the dealership to get an oil change. I'm willing to bet someone there took out the fuse to get me to come back for a Bull S#&@ fix.
The guys at Ace auto could have taken me for a ride, but the fact that they did not, speaks volumes on trust. This is the 2nd time they serviced my car (1st was a tune-up) and once again, I am very happy with the results.
Finding a good mechanic is hard, finding one you can trust is harder...these guys are good!

I have a 1974 corvette that had a few problems. The bigger problem was that I could not find a mechanic I could trust. I had already taken it to two other places which cost me $3k, and neither of them fixed the problems I was having.
I took the vehicle to Ace Automotive in Santa Clarita. I could not have asked for a better experience. Robert, the owner, is an expert at explaining car details to a layman. Every time I asked, "what does that mean?", Robert took the time to carefully explain the problem to me, and I actually understood what he was talking about.
If you live in the area, or even 30 miles away like I do, take your car to Ace Automotive. It is worth every penny. You will be saving yourself a lot of $$$ and heartache.

I have been taking my 94 GMC truck here for about 4 years now. Every time I go there they do a professional job using only genuine AC Delco parts. Robert always takes care of me and these guys are dead honest. If they can't find something wrong with your car or truck or it is a trivial fix they tell you instead of making something up to rip you off. I plan to keep my truck for a long time and I will gladly bring it back to Ace next time.

Finding a car repair place you can trust is difficult. I know from firsthand experience. I worked for one years ago and am ashamed at some of the transactions that took place!
I have two vehicles that have been repaired at Ace several times. Each repair was fixed right the first time and they guarantee their work. Robert, the owner, is a nice guy who truly seems to have his customers' best interest in mind.
Their prices are fair, work is done quickly, and staff are open to questions. Highly recommended!

I am not from the area. My transmission went out going over the Grapevine and I was very fortunate to find Ace on the recommendation of a local car rental company employee. Robert did all he could to get me back on the road as quickly as possible with a new transmission. This is a reputable repair shop and a business owner with integrity, and they STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK. The only reason I am not a repeat customer is that I live 350 miles away.

Robert's amazing. I went through 5 mechanics before him and he was the only one who was able to find the problem with my car, charged very reasonable prices and fixed my car. He's very low key, doesn't scare you with a bunch of scenarios of what might be wrong, doesn't play the guessing game and gets things done in a timely manner. The office and garage are very clean, the mechanics are nice and for once I feel confident in a mechanics shop. I will be bringing all my vehicles to Ace Automotive.

We have been using Ace Automotive for 15 years. We have 3 cars to keep running and we keep our cars an average of 12 years and put about 200,000 miles on them. Robert and Charlie handle the scheduled maintenance at a fair price and the job is ALWAYS done right. At times we have brought cars in to be repaired and they have said "this is a recall" if you take it to the dealer they will repair it for free. How honest is that! We would never go anywhere else.

Both my father and I use to come here all the time. We always had great service. Then they hired some new guy to run the place and he treats everyone like crap. I thought maybe it was a bad day for him, nope, came back three more times and still treated us like we are an inconvenience to him. Doesn't care about you or your car, just wants your money and isn't even polite about it. Never coming back here.

Albeit just an oil change, I had a very good experience here. The service writer took his time and made sure that all the information needed WAS entered properly even using smart phone to document mileage, VIN etc. Being from out of state was not a problem ... am well pleased with the business approach and the service provided ..
