Highly recommend. They have always been honest, fair & accomodating. We appreciate all they have done for us and our parents over the last 12 years of using them! :)

This place and the people that work here are awesome. I came in for an unplanned stop since my car dropped the heat cover on the highway and it was dragging on the road. I pulled in and asked for assistance; little did I know it was after hours. They gladly offered to put it on the lift and look at it, replaced a bolt to keep the cover in tact, and I was on my way! How refreshing for above and beyond service! Keep up the great work Village Car Care and thank you!!

I stopped at Village Car Care when I arrived from San Diego because I noticed a transmission fluid leak on the garage floor of my vacation rental. My mechanic in San Diego had previously assessed the problem as a major transmission seal issue and estimated repairs at $4000. So I was skeptical when the owner of Village Car Care said that he thought the problem was simply a leaking transmission pan seal that would cost $160 - $180 to repair. I okayed the repair and then was pleasantly surprised when the repair bill came in at the lower end of the estimate. It has now been 4-weeks since the repair and not a drop of transmission fluid on the garage floor. Problem solved and a big savings to my pocket book. I am looking for a new home in Village of Oak Creek and it looks like I have already found my new mechanic here.

This shop is great! I work on my own cars for a lot of tasks but for some things I don't have the time or tools. For the last year of living in Sedona we have used Village Car Care for those tasks.
I have had many different garages work on many different cars and trucks, new and old, over my 45 years of owning/driving and Village Car Care is about the best I have experienced. We have them work on our Audi A4 and Chevy Silverado and every time they have gotten whatever it is fixed right the first time and for a very fair price.
If your car needs a mechanic in Sedona, call Village Car Care!

I have been taking my BMW here for over two years. It's not easy getting a foreign car serviced in Sedona but every repair I have had from regulators in my windows, brakes, power steering pumps and tire replacemnt has been spot on . It's a relief to know I have Earl and team to count on.

As a insurance agent I hear a lot of negative stories regarding repair shops and tire shops. I like to hear when things go well.
Today I had an insured traveling North on I-17 blow up his turbo on the Ford Excursion, I was able to get my Roadside assistance out there in less then an hour, tow them to VCC.
I was scared to call my client to see what the shop had said. I could not reach him but I called the shop directly. Earl was able to tell me there was a hose that blew, they secured it and were able to get the client back on the road towards home for $25 bucks...WHAT?
That is excellent service all the way around. I hope I never need Earl up at VCC but if I do I know where to get towed to.
Thanks for taking care of my client and making me a fan!

STAY AWAY FROM VILLAGE CAR CARE.
My girlfriend was having a bad day this past Friday, Dec 06... and without warning, her car died. She ended up at Village Car Center by herself practically in tears and they sold her a new battery (about $180). After installing the battery, they told her she needed an alternator, quoting her another $300-$400. They also told her to drive the car as little as possible, which scared her but to be back on Monday.
As I got into the story on Sunday, believing the alternator was bad, began to look at alternators on the Internet. I also looked for a roving mechanic to install the alternator. Long story short, we met a mechanic (on Sunday) who checked the alternator and discovered there was nothing wrong with the alternator. It was putting out 14volts, etc
My advice is to stay away from Village Car Care!
PS Not only that.. her 2003 Lexus smelled like cigarette smoke Village Car Care worked it. VERY UNACCEPTABLE!

over the past dozen years I have taken several cars to VCC, and have always been treated well. On one clunker, they told me of a work-around that would save me money on a repair in an unusual way, and I said, "give it a try". When I sold the car, 2 years later, the workaround was still working. Usually, I just get batteries replaced there, for less than the W store and with better batteries too. With my Explorer, it has been in their shop a number of times and once was expensive, which they warned me about, and the other time were much less expensive than I had anticipated. Earl worked hard to find the best price on used parts from around the country, which many shops do not bother with. I prefer to take cars in on weekdays when Earl is working, to get the best service. Even so, $152 for spark plugs?

There's nothing these folks can't do. I'm always impressed with the service and friendly folks here.
This is one of those places where you feel that they're taking care of your vehicle as though it was their own. They frequently make suggestions on alternative choices that would save me money or would be a better way to get more value out of a purchase or service.
I guess what I'm trying to say is they take the time to educate me on my own vehicle and the choices I have. And, I really appreciate this. I can't recommend them enough and would happily go out of my way to have work done by these folks - they are #1 in the Sedona area as far as I'm concerned.
Earl...thanks for all your help. You guys rock. Keep up the good work.

These guys are not the sharpest mechanics in town. I asked for an oil change with synthetic blend oil, so when I came back I learned that they used mobil one: thus an oil change at just under $100. On another ocassion, I went in for another service and asked them to rotate the tires also. When I picked up the car I confirmed with Earl he manager that the tires had been rotated. So when I got the car home I discovered that the mechanic never rotated the tires, apparently it looked like they did not need it. Thus another trip back to get the work done. In the future I will be going to Red Rock Precision Motors in W. Sedona, they seem to have their act together.

They charged me $100 to "fix" the coolant system... After driving the car that was supposedly fixed, the engine began to bubble and coolant began to pour out all over my driveway. I took it back in for them to check it out, and according to them their "fix" didn't actually fix the problem with the coolant system. They made no apologies and offered no return for the $100 they charged me to apparently solve no problems. Their integrity seems out of alignment, as they blamed the issue on one of their mechanics by saying he doesn't know much about mechanics. I recommend staying clear of this company. No customer service or responsibility taken whatsoever.

They have worked on our cars and pickup as needed for the last couple of years, all great. This week my Silverado had a starting problem. Took it in late Wednesday they had it back on the road by 9am Thursday starting better than ever for a very fair cost. Strongly recommended, a very good family owned garage.

Very professional, courteous, and communicative about the status of my vehicle. They were able to fix a fluid leak by the next day and the final charge was accurate to what they quoted me.

My Mom is 93 years old and has been taking her Cadilac CTS to Earl for years. Being 93 she is a prime target for being taking advantage of. Instead these guys are the opposite. There has been several times they should have charged her for their time and they did not charge her. They stuck with her and fixed the problem. I am from Michigan and drove out a few months ago and my fuel pump went out. Guess where I took it to? To Earl and his team who fixed it fast and at a fair price.
