I brought my 2006 Civic in to see if my options on completely replacing or welding existing muffler. He will give you all the available options so you can make a good decision. I ended up just welding and replacing the broken part of my muffler, instead of replacing the whole muffler (almost all most auto repair shops would shoot for).
Bottom line: He's honest and would tell you what he would do if your car was his car, instead of speaking from a sales point if view. I would be back again.

One of the most honest mechanics, ever! Came in because I thought my muffler was loose, and he checked it out, turns out it was fine but told me I should get my engine brackets checked out. He didnt charge me when he totally could have, he also could have just told me it was the muffler, and I wouldnt have known.

If you are looking for an honest mechanic who stands by their work with competitive prices look no further! I have had two vehicles worked on by this shop and always fair prices. On one vehicle I thought I might of had some problems with the new catalytic converter, he told me to bring it and checked it out for free and even found the problem for me so I could fix it myself! Awesome awesome shop!

went to this guy thinking i needed a new muffler. quoted me a decent price over the phone. he listened to the noise coming from the under the middle of my truck and noticed the tailpipe had pulled away from the muffler. he soldered it pretty quick and sent me on my way. honest man who quoted me a fair price. was in & out quickly. recommend.

I've been coming here for the last 14 years. He has done every single truck I've own. Flow master exhaust, chrome tips. Yesterday he installed an afe exhaust in my current suv and it came out magnificent. Prices were very reasonable. Would highly recommend.

Went to get my car smogged and got the bad news that I needed a new catalytic converter. Then I got the even worse news that my truck has two catalytic converters on it. I called many muffler shops looking for good pricing on this necessary but unexpected purchase. Of all the places I called Chavez Muffler had the best price and I found them to have superb customer service skills. They didn't try to trick me with their pricing like one shop that gave me the price for one catalytic converter, making me think that that was going to be the price for both of them, until I called them back and clarified with them to find out that their pricing was higher than most of the stores I was calling. Overall, I am super happy with my decision to take my truck to whittier for my catalytic converters from Fullerton.
