This shop claimed my car was f...

This shop claimed my car was fixed. 6 hrs later, check engine light went on again. Went back next day and found out they didn't even have the correct tool to diagnose any computer codes in the first place. They they sent me to the dealership where the german car specialists said this shop obviously didnt know what they are doing. In fact, it appears they weren't even listening when I told them what yr. my car is, because the second day I came back, they revealed they were actually working on a different yr. car than mine is/ w/ their computer codes....!!!! Also, the shop manager/owner is very rude. He was rude on the phone; he did not greet me one time the first day I showed up or the second time after messing the car up in the first place. When he sees a customer walk upl he actually looks down at the ground, ignores them and walks away. Actually had the audacity and ignorance to shake my car keys in my face as if he's an old man talking to a child....u would think a tiny old building would have classic service and treatment of customers; nonetheless an actual parking lot and/or waiting area for customers.....and at least some water for customers; but not even water either or any offer of a drink in one of the hottest cities in the world. terrible place, ignorant people.

My 1994 Accord engine developed some knocking, so I took it to them for an opinion. They immediately identified the noise as a main bearing, and wouldn't accept compensation for telling me this. I was not in a position to have them pull the motor and do such detailed engine work, so I had to do this myself, and it turned out to indeed be a worn main bearing causing the problem. If this problem were undiagnosed, very bad things could have happened. Specifically, a blown engine and being stranded hundreds of miles from home. It takes a lot of experience to be able to know exactly what's causing engine knocking - it can be caused by a crazy amount of things (flexplate bolts, piston rings, valve clearance, loose accessories, torque converter, rod bearings, main bearings, etc.). To immediately and correctly know what is causing it means you can completely trust these guys around your Honda engines. These folks don't just change oil and belts, they can look past normal wear and tear and know when the internals deep inside an engine aren't acting quite right. It's a shame I live so far away, because it seems every other mechanic I take my old car to doesn't know a single thing about it. My last experience with a local mechanic involved them misdiagnosing clogged fuel injectors as a differential failure. Before that, another misdiagnosed a distributor oil leak as a valve cover gasket leak - a completely different part of the engine. Before that, yet another misdiagnosed warped brake rotors as unbalanced wheels. I can go on and on, because I have a plethora of bad mechanic experiences, each one actually going on to break a random part on my car except these guys. Clearly there's a lot of misinformation and incompetence among various mechanics, but don't throw away your money on misdiagnoses. I trust these guys to fully understand and provide a solution to a problem, and I think you should too.

I have a Nissan Altima that needed immediate attention to the air conditioning (it is getting hot out!). I found Import Car Specialists online and decided to use them. They fixed my air conditioning the next day AND the cost was 30% less than what they had quoted me! I am relieved that I have finally found a reliable and honest place to take my vehicle when needed! I highly recommend this business.

They are so honest, that they quoted me a price and when they found out that one of the parts didn't need replacing, they told me it was fine and changed the price accordingly. My brother now takes his vehicle there too. If you need an honest repair shop, this is the place.
