I was looking for an auto body shop in Lithonia because the rear driver door on my Yukon would not close. My kids and I were camped out at my aunt's house because I did not want to transport my babies in the road to Atlanta with the door in that condition. I got up yesterday morning expecting to get a quote and an appointment and head to work. My aunt looked up a shop for me near her home, and after driving in circles trying to find this place (which was obviously out of business) I "googled" the nearest location and found Precision.
As a female, I'm not at all comfortable with going to an auto body shop in the first place because of the stigma the shops have the disparate treatment of women.
So...I get to the shop and I am greeted by the owner - Melvin. I showed him how I rigged the door closed so that I could get my kids to my aunt's safely. He immediately called out the mechanic and told me to grab my purse and go inside, they were going to take care of it right away. I was SO relieved! He went on to explain once inside that he couldn't let me leave like that knowing that I had kids.
I had no intentions of letting my kids back in the car until it was fixed, but for them to be that considerate was very refreshing. The door was fixed in less than twenty minutes and I was back on the road and on the way to work! I am so blessed to have stumbled upon them! I will never take any vehicle I own to any other location, I encourage family and friends to use them as well, and I will have all of the nearly 200 fleet vehicles at my job brought here as well. They definitely have earned my business from now on!

Don't use this body shop or the one in Stone Mountain very shady business practices for example I took my car up there after a collision with a deer long story short ended up in Dekalb County Courthouse Melvin Little was ordered to pay me a judgement instead of doing that he refused saying that he piss my judgement which is fine I'm happy for him to be in that position in life. All wanted was a quality job instead I basically got an patch job.

Marquis which is the manager/boss is very RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. I have had the worst experience with this shop. I am still mad that my attorney suggested my car to go to this shop. I could have found my own Auto Body shop to go to if I would have knew this place was going to be what it was. First for starters I was told my car was going to be ready in 7days. 7 days became over 12 days. Then when it was ready for pick up I had no way to get it. My claims adjuster reached out to Marquis to ask can he drop my vehicle off to my job which Marquis agreed to. I contacted him to set up a time and he was going to bring my vehicle to my job the next following day. Well I sent him the address that afternoon and we talked at 8am that following morning. He stated he was going to have my car out to me as soon as traffic died down, then I spoke to him again at 1pm and he stated he was waiting for his crew to come, I told Marquis that I get off at 5:30 he said he will have it to me before then. Well 4:30 comes and I texted him back letting him know that I will be getting off in an hour. He THEN stated he CANNOT drop my vehicle off due to clement weather. Then stated the drive will be over an hour to me and he has to pay his workers 100 dollars to bring me my car and it's not worth it. By that time I'm pissed because I have already dropped my rental car back off and told Marquis I have no way to get my car or get home from work. He told me he suggest I get a Uber or Lyft to pick up my car.... If only he reached out to me, and me not reaching out to him this could have been avoided. Especially since we talked 3 times that day. Imhe clearly did not care. Inconsiderate... The topping of it after I picked my car up from his shop. 2 weeks later I get stopped by the POLICE... Apparently I have been driving around with my old 2013 Grand Am Tag. Which had not been registered since 2013 and was INSIDE my trunk not on my bumper. Mind you My car that was being worked on is a Toyota... So these dumb mofos never took my Toyota tag off my old bumper to put back on my replaced back bumper that was getting fixed. Without paying attention obviously a tag that clearly has a big ass 2013 sticker on it and put it on my vehicle. They should have never even touched my old tag that was in my car. Even I forgot it was in there and I would have never knew if I was not stopped by the police. The next morning I went to the tag office to get a new tag and they stated I have to make a police report with Lithonia police department. I reside in Douglasville Ga. So I am very pissed at the moment. When I contacted Marquis to tell him about his people putting the wrong tag on my car and I asked him can he see if he can find my tag, he said he will call back once he located it.... Well again I never Received a call back from Marquis. I had to call him back. He then he told me "unfortunately I cannot locate that tag" but we can reimburse you the tag cost... It's not about the money to replace my tag. It's 8dollars to replace a tag. That's not the issue. The inconvenience and timing is the issue. I work 35 miles away and I cannot drive my vehicle due to his shop putting on the wrong damn tag. And I have to drive another 50 mins to Lithonia to make a police report because of him and his employees and I cannot do that because I have not tag. By far this is the worst experience I have ever had dealing with my car. He is Inconvenient, Inconsiderate, Rude, Nasty, Unprofessional and Incompetent. I will never refer this black owned business to another. Makes you not want to even work with people like this. Never again..... He wouldn't even get 1star if it was up to me.

First, Precision Collision gets an A+ for customer service. Second, they get an A+ for restoring my vehicle back to beautiful. They have a upbeat, friendly staff that went above and beyond my expectations. Not only did they make my rental reservations, but they took me to pick up my rental vehicle. They also gave me an accurate timeline of when my vehicle would be repaired. I personally recommend Precision Collision.
