I had a great overall experience. The only downside was how busy they were, but a great mechanic is going to be busy (makes sense, right). Anyways, I went in for a tune-up, but in the process they diagnosed several other things that needed work... and then categorized them with a 1, 2, or 3 for the priority of getting fixed. This was very helpful. I was overdue for a timing belt, which they had warned me of (cat 3) - and sure enough the timing belt went out on a long trip the next week. I think this only verified that they weren't trying to up-sell or be overly cautious.
Straight forward and honest, I'll be coming back.

I made an appointment with rogue a day before I came in and brought my car in first thing in the morning as soon as they opened. It took them a few minutes to get to my car because they are very busy. My break light and battery light both came on while I was on my way from Portland to Southern California and I suspected it was a faulty alternator so I stopped here. I told them what I thought the problem was and they charged the diagnostics fee for electronics which was $63(not too bad). After about 3 and 1/2 hours they told me that in addition to the new alternator, I was also going to need new belts for the alternator and A/C. They were very communicative about everything. The only downside to my experience was the wait time. But why the hell would you rush a mechanic to fix your car? You can't afford to have anything overlooked. Let the mechanics take their time so they can do their job right. Would definitely come back here.

WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was recommended to come here through the local Jiffy Lube to get my check engine light checked out and get an oil changed. They have gone above and beyond, offering to rotate my tires and check out the run of my car for a very low charge. Everyone on staff is ready and willing to offer there friendly services- I was in distress about finding a place to print some documents and they just printed them for me!
Businesses like this set the standard for service and keep business honorable.

Not only did they get me in right away, they gave me a shuttle ride home so I didn't have to wait. Called me when it was done inquiring if I needed a ride to the shop. Brakes working great at a very reasonable price, offered additional services for my next visit and then they encouraged me to save money buy getting the yelp discount that was being offered.

I wish I had this place in San Jose. Driving from San Jose, Ca the A/C went out. Being that it was only 97 in Redding we were suffering in a newer vehicle who did away with wing Windows. Stupid idea Chevy, Ford and Chrysler. Anyway I digress. In a panic mode I jumped to Yelp and immediately spotted the five star rating and because we were driving by so u called. They answered right away and told me to come down. Yes we were in Medford Oregon. I spoke with Dave and they pulled my vehicle right and did a quick test. I wish I could of afforded the whole service but right now while on vacation I needed all my cash. I don't know if Dave was the owner but he seemed like it, he hooked us up. He just evac'd the ac and refilled it. Yes I would of like the whole service and the price was extremely reasonable and I have no problem bringing my kids with me down there to wait. Dave you guys impressed me with the small biz attitude. Great.

It's always tough trying to find a reputable and reliable auto shop. I've become conditioned to the point that I always expect a shop to attempt to rip me off before I even get the chance to explain what's going on. I can say without reservation that Rogue Automotive isn't that kind of shop at all.
I've taken both our vehicles here with all manner of problems and have always received top-notch service. They've never attempted to upsell or otherwise attempt to extract undeserved service and money. They've always been upfront about what issues our cars have had, and what our options are. They've even gone to the extent of recommending what service I could easily perform myself to save money -- not something you'd expect a typical money-grubbing shop to do.
Their labor prices are on par with the rest of the shops, so you know you'll still at least be in the same neighborhood price-wise. Add to that their knack for honesty, and you have a winning shop. Just wish more shops were like this one.

They worked hard and found an appointment for me that day. They also took me home and picked me up when my car was ready. Everyone went out of their way to be nice and take care of me! They worked hard to get me back on the road because they knew I needed the car to get to work. I just moved to the area and I am so happy to have found Rogue Automotive. The Yelp reviews led me to them, but I also called a few other shops to get quotes for work needed on my Highlander. The folks at Rogue Automotive were so friendly and helpful that I chose to go with them. I was bringing my car in for brakes, but I needed new tires, and was told by a shop back in Cali that I needed new struts too :( Buddy at Rogue said he'd do a full, thorough inspection to make sure I got all the work I needed done (NOT work I didn't need). I was so relieved to find out my struts were fine, and that I finally found an honest mechanic! They were very accommodating, everyone in the shop was nice and seemed like they all cared about their work and customers. I highly recommend this shop and I will definitely be back!

I had a great experience here. A couple weeks ago, I noticed that my car's AC was no longer blowing cold air. I called several other auto shops and they all required at least a week before they could even look at my car. I called Rogue because they were the number 1 on Yelp. They were the only ones who could look at my car that day, and they did so as soon as I brought it into the shop. After a free inspection, I was told exactly what was wrong with my car and what needed to be done to be fixed. I brought my car in the next week to be fixed. Rogue provided complimentary transportation to and from my workplace across town while they worked on my car. Service was always quick and friendly and helpful. My car has been working perfectly since. I was extremely happy with my service, and while I hope I don't have any further issues with my car, I would definitely bring it back here if I do.

Our car started to shimmy on I-5 while traveling to California. We pulled into Rogue automotive when they opened at 7 am. Although they were short-staffed that day David arranged for Andrew to check us out as a priority case. Warped brake rotors were re-ground and disks were replaced at a very reasonable rate and we were back on the interstate by 9:30 am. Everyone was friendly, encouraging and went the extra mile for us. It might seem strange to say that having our car repaired during a road trip was one of the high points of our vacation but, because of our positive experience with Rogue Automotive, it was!

This place is amazing. Was in town for a temporary job and had something hanging from the bottom of my rental car. It didn't seem structural, but I stopped by to get it checked out. No appointment but they got me right in and checked it out. These guys pinned the flap back up for me and didn't charge me anything!!!! Who does that??? My friends and I were on a road trip up to Seattle on a hot July day when our air conditioning gave out and started making strange noises. We were referred to Rogue Automotive by some locals in town, and we were sure lucky.
Despite having an extremely busy slate, they welcomed us in, had a look, and got us back on the road in under two hours. They were friendly and courteous the whole time, and treated us great, especially considering we were in such a bind. I have never had such a positive experience with any other auto shop. Though I don't live in Oregon, and can't become a regular, I hope people in Medford will consider going to them, because they were real lifesavers for us.

Rogue Automotive is exceptional! I have been a resident of the valley for 43 years. This is the professional and trustworthy business that you thought you could never find. They are it! From the clean, professional greeting you get at the reception desk to the personal, customized attention to your vehicle....the experience was excellent. the pluses are many and not even one complaint. They have extensive knowledge of all vehicles and the skills to go along with it. their highly trained automotive mechanical technicians have extensive knowledge of all vehicles, old and new. I know because I have a 1965 Chevy Truck that needed a thorough going over and replacement of many original parts. David walked me through the entire process, letting me know what it needed and the cost of the repair or replacement before going ahead and doing anything to it. They knew where to get new parts or repair the old ones. Ray was the genius in being able to put it all together again. He is fantastic. My truck purrs and I am a very happy girl! Our pickup brakes froze up and caught fire in the wheel well so we had to tow it to the shop. I called my insurance and put in a claim since it caught fire. Working with Dave and Amy (and even the friendly voice when we called) was awesome. They worked with my adjuster sent photos to him and did an outstanding job on making the repairs.
