My transmission was shifting rough between 2nd and 3rd, but not all the time so I was able to shop around. I talked to 5 repair shops on the phone and actually went to another one before I chose J&G to do the work.
They not only gave me a price for the repairs upfront (which turned out to be accurate), but they told me what updates they would do to the transmission so it would last longer. They were the ONLY shop that did that.
My truck runs great now and I am very pleased I chose J&G Transmission to do the repairs. I would recommend them to anyone.

I needed a routine and scheduled transmission service on my Lexus. I was cautious of having service on my automatic transmission by anyone other than a shop that I had used for years , but they were out of business (retirement). So with a recommendation from my mechanic (Glens Auto) I decided to try J& G. I was prepared to watch the service to ensure the required filter change and inspection of the pan. After meeting the owners of J & G and seeing the extent of their facility I knew I could trust J &G. The work was finished as promised and the staff was friendly. These guys are great! My husband has taken his dodge to them more than once. They had his truck a couple weeks ago to replace the U Joint. My husband was out of the country so I was trying to take care of things. We were headed out of town the next day and they were unaware of that. We needed the truck to tow our fifth wheel. I explained the situation and Brad (I think his name was) told me that he would see what he could do... He called me back 15 minutes later and told me the driveline was still at another shop but he would take the driveline off his own personal truck and let us use it for the weekend. He was awesome! We picked up the truck the following morning at 7am and returned it at the end of our trip to swap the drivelines out. Great experience. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family. Their latest help was to correct a misdiagnosis from a different transmission place which transformed my plans to pay for a full trany rebuild into a simple trany service and I have been running great since. Super bunch of Peeps at J&G transmission. I took my 96 F250 power stroke in on a Tuesday had it back on Friday afternoon complete transmission rebuild. First Class Act they are. Highly recommend them and their services to anyone. I went to J&G on a recommendation from two large mechanic shops I trust. Wow they were dead right on their recommend. Truck had 192,000 on it and hope I get another 100,000 out of it. Thanks guys for the great job. Oh and the best part was the price.... Nobody could do the job they did and offer the warranty given with the quality of work and have it back to me in 4 days like they did.... Best Regards...

Took my vehicle in to have the transmission replaced. While in their care the front doors where stolen off of it, they never called me to inform me or even called the police to report the theft. They did however put two doors on they got from a junk yard and didn't even bother to get the doors keyed or my key-less entry programmed for the doors. Never got a sorry or even a offer to discount me or anything, just told i could probably find a cheap locksmith. better yet, the interior of the doors don't match with the vehicle interior. Oh and the transmission is hesitating pretty bad- like it did before it went out.
