Just to start things off they worked really hard to get me the loan so I give them props for that but after I got the truck it was down hill from there 4wd truck with no 4wd ac stopped working radio was wired by a 5 year old kid it looked so bad and to top it off the truck was leaning on the drivers side almost 2 inches they offer a 15 day or small mileage warranty so don't trust them when they say they inspect all there vehicles first thing I noticed when I drove off lot did... Pretty good selection of decent, semi-older used cars (got a great deal on my 2002 Acura 3.2TL).
Andy jumped through hoops (with just as many being jumped through by me) to get me financed, with my ass credit and limited time on my new job. Almost couldn't get it done, but I'd imagine anyone with a decent credit score would have no problems procuring the car of their choice.
Zero pressure, no shady tactics, a very relaxed atmosphere (not to mention ice cold AC in the sales office). Anyone NOT looking for a brand-spanking-new car would be well served to try looking here first.

did an internet chat about a specific vehicle I had 3 simple questions on. After getting all my info for marketing purposes, they refused to answer my questions which I asked 3 different times in the chat. I wish I had a copy of the whole chat to paste here. The end they ask do you have any more questions? I say: just the 3 questions that I originally asked and were never answered after I answered all of your marketing questions and gave all my contact info.... next... "The chat operator has ended this conversation" Nice!!! my 3 questions that were so difficult???
1. still available?
2. clean title?
3. mileage is on original engine (not rebuild)?

Sneaky. Sneaky. Sneaky. Clean Carfax report, but brand new bumper, radiator cap, and paint job. When questioned about it, Mark McMorris's boss said, "Send them away. I'm not talking to them." So always ask to get inspection by your own mechanic and a bunch of sneaky stuff will pop up. Don't waste your time.

I recently purchased a beautiful BMW Convertible from Jerry and Mark! Mark brought the car to me to inspect(in Arcadia), when I saw it I thought it would be perfect as a Fun car. Everyone knows that any used car will need some repairs, but upon inspection, I found it needed a little more than I expected! I let Jerry know, and he sent me a check for $500.00 ! Looking for an Honest place to purchase a used car? I would recommend these folks Highly! Dr. Steve

First, let me say, I have bought two cars here. With that being said, I believe the cars are a little overpriced. BUT, with both cars, no additional repairs were required. So I feel I got good value for my money. When you buy a used car, you expect the worst, that you are taking over someone else's problem. Avondale Auto, either they are picking the best cars or else their prep area is AAA. I would have no qualms about doing business with Avondale Auto again.

I recently purchased another vehicle (4th in 7 years) from them and again the experience was great. Great service, a lot of car for the money. Jerry & his staff are just good people.

I bought a used 04 Honda accord at the end of February the guy was very polite and tried to get me a good deal. Fell in love with the car when I test drove it. So I put $2000 down on the car. About a month having it my window regulator cable snapped thought no big deal its a used car this stuff happens. Well summer came around ac worked great when I test drove it ac does work until your sitting in rush hour traffic at a standstill then the car starts to over heat so I have to turn it off. Then about a month later I had to buy a battery which was no big deal either it happens. Then a week later my alternator. Then another week later my alarm and all windows stopped working. Now my water pump completely went out. I'm paying over $8000 for a money pit car. Its something new every week. Way too over priced in my opinion I love my car but honestly would probably go elsewhere for my moneys worth. Only good thing is they will work with you and are nice.

I've been looking for a new car. After all the research, after driving a number of different cars, I finally settled, happily, on a Honda CRV. I found an acceptable model at this dealership. And that's when the experience went south.
When my husband and I went to take a look at the car the salesman really only spoke to my husband. When I spoke to him I often had to ask my question twice. Strike 1.
A week later I called the salesman to make an offer on the car. I reminded him that he'd met us the weekend before and made my offer. He asked for a number where he could reach me and said he'd get back to me. He never did. Maybe if my husband had made the offer... Strike 2.
On the third day I called the sales manager. When I asked him if the salesman had not seriously considered my offer because I'm a woman I got "gee, I don't know." That would have been yet another strike but he kept going. Told me my offer was ridiculous and asked if I knew about the blue book. I informed him that, more importantly, I knew about the laws of supply and demand. This guy was incredibly rude as well (because I'm a woman? I wouldn't be surprised). I've run in to this all my adult life. I can explain, in detail that these testosterone-laden troglodytes would probably envy, the workings of the internal combustion engine. Yet as often as not I'm shown the vanity mirrors or told that I don't need to see the engine. Avondale Auto Center was no exception. I wouldn't buy a car from these masochistic men if you paid me.
Strike 3. You are so out.

I bought a use car from them back in June of 2010. I needed a car at that time. Pd. Cash with tax and tags 3,500. Was told the main switch that operates turn signals, wind shield wipers, horn would cost 500.00 but they could get it for 75.00. The part came in and never worked. so...we pd. 400.00 at auto zone. They put the part in. We had to paid for a car rental. Then only the windshield wiper worked.
They than had to put a button on the dash for the horn to work..
We forced them to pay for that. We had already paid for struts front breaks, ,new windshield wipers, spark plugs. Car had 2 bent rims.
Was told had a new a/c.. Had to pay for a new one. Put 3,000 into car.
Was told through them in there response you have a choice of 15 days or 500 miles to return the car through the BBB. That they followed within the guide line of AZ.
I had to go through all this after my father in-law died and had to move my family back to N.J.
Do not buy a car from them. All the safety issues have to work before you can sell the car in the first place.
False and misleading company. Have your car checked out and then decide to buy it.

Small, honest used car lot with good quality control and wonderful folks working the shop and the desks. Jerry gets some great deals and really loves seeing folks get a car they love for a decent price. Picked up a 2004 Civic from him recently and I'm nothing but happy with the payment plan and the car itself. Well almost totally happy with the car... I'm not so sure about the mechanics there, as they failed to mention the low quality of my break pads which required replacement within weeks of purchase. If it weren't for that, I'd give these people a five star.

Can't say that I was very impressed with this place. The only good thing that came of it was getting the vehicle I wanted. At least they stuck by the price they told me on the phone. Didn't even come close to giving me a good trade on my vehicle, but I guess that is the used car game. When i purchased the vehicle, the back window was stuck down. I was told they would reimburse me with some fuel to come back the next week so they could repair the window. They also did not give me the socket for the lugnuts on the new wheels. After I left the dealership I made a stop in town. When I went to leave, the truck would not start. I had to jump the starter to get home because they were already closed. I went back the next week. They did not reimburse me for fuel. They did give me a regulator to install to repair the window. As for the socket, they told me I would have to go to a tire shop a few blocks away. I went to the tire shop and after being there for 30 minutes, they told me that they didn't have anything and to go back to avondale auto center. I went back and sat at the dealership for about an hour before they gave up and said I could drive across town to see if I could get one from another tire shop. I finally gave up and left. I have had the vehicle for a week. They did give me a part to repair the window, but I have also had to repair a no start problem, an instrument cluster, the blower motor quit working, the shock bolts on the new lift kit were left loose, the air filter was not installed correctly, they only put 30 psi in New tires that are supposed to have 80 psi, and the list goes on. I understand it's a used vehicle, but I felt like I had been had. Buyer beware.

This is a great lot with a staff that wants to get you in the vehicle that you want. Butch and the team did all that they could to get me in a very nice truck. In the end I came with little money down kept my car and still drove off the lot in what I wanted with an affordable monthly payment. Come here if you are ready to buy because these guys will get you in that vehicle. Highly recommend going here before a big box dealer or other lots in the area.

Jose Mata and the guys at Avondale Auto Center are great to work with. I was looking for an inexpensive Jeep to hunt in and they had just what I wanted at $1000 under what other dealers offered. They also showed me the Carfax Report and let me take the Jeep to my mechanic for inspection. If your are looking for an inexpensive ride and want a fair deal with a low pressure salesman go see Jose.

Everything on their lot is a bit over priced. Some cars by as much as 1500 to 2000 dollars.

We have been looking for a used car for our son for about almost 2 weeks. We found this used car location via the internet one day after looking through the used car listings for many of the major dealers in Avondale. We found two cars online that we wanted to check out that looked very nice from the pictures Avondale Auto Center posted on their website. We decided to drive down to check the cars out. Definitely no pressure. We asked to see an Acura TL 3.2 and to test drive. Without hesitation, they handed over the keys. We ended up not liking the drive and feel of the TL so we asked to then look at the '02 Saab 95. Sales guy ran out and gassed it up and told us that he had driven over the weekend and warned us that we would love the drive and feel of the car. Sure enough we did. We knew what price we wanted and with no hard sell or back and forth with sales manager, we ended up at our price we wanted. They were very honest and allowed us to look up any carfax we wanted. Mark and Eric were great to work with. I would recommend to any other USAA member as a very easy dealer to work with.
