After receiving soul shocking quote for a repair on my Honda pilot from Honda. The quote made us think that the grim reaper was fast approaching. My car's saving came via this automotive repair shop
The A/C issue was quickly fixed for less than half the price of what the dealership had quoted. Thrilled with that .
What really sold me was the filter that they replaced which obviously had never been replaced at the dealership. The filter was so gross it would have made your foes curl.
We now take all our cars there.

Honest reasonable and good service. Highly recommend. Went to get murano checked and this guy could have told us many things were wrong and charged us but he did the checkup for free and said nothing wrong. Was patient with us and so we decided to do an oil change a bit early. Definitely going back.

I can't tell you how awesome these guys are. They are HONEST mechanics that know what they're doing!! They really go above and beyond by taking care of every detail your car might need, without nickel and diming you or trying to fix or charge your for things you don't need. Johnjay automotive is pretty awesome! I shopped around to get my rearview mirror fixed and got quotes from $300-$500. So, Johnjay automotive was my last call and figured it will be the same boy was I wrong!!!!! I paid about 100 bucks and 15 minutes of my time. I didn't feel cheated and got what I needed fixed. I was so pleased to find someone who was honest and got the job done without breaking my wallet. Would come back in a heart beat should I need anything else. Thxs Johnjay you totally made my week.

John has worked on both my husband's Honda Accord and my Honda CRV. With both vehicles he was honest about repairs and took the time to explain what we needed to do and when. His prices are very fair as well. He also has a great wifi network for customers waiting and there is a quiet area to work while you wait. After feeling ripped off at a nearby mechanic in the airpark and then dealing with high prices and a loud waiting room with spotty wifi at the dealer, I am extremely happy we found John for our vehicle maintenance and repairs.

I have to say that John "Jay" is seriously one of the good guys out there. He knows his stuff, honest machanic, works hard to get your car looked at as quick as possible! Had a few repairs done and he was always great with explaining the issue, giving me options and letting me decide what I wanted to do. I would recommend him to anyone. I'm a girl so I would really recommend him to any girl out there, he won't take advantage!

I was able to schedule quickly and the repair took less time than John predicted. His services are very fairly priced and reliable. Fantastic service and honest repairs. The fear that can sometimes accompany going to a mechanic shop went out the window when working with Jay. He's very knowledgable and when I got the bill, I was expecting there to be additional pages, because I was expecting a much higher price. If you are in the Scottsdale or Phoenix area, you can expect expertise and honesty when dealing with this company. I've worked with a few different mechanics before and can't say that any have ever impressed me like John Jay Automotive.

Jay has been in the auto business a long time. I took my truck in for brakes because they were squealing. He called later and said the brakes were fine and that they had just gotten hot and that was the reason for the noise. He could have done the brakes and made a bit more money, but that is the kind of guy he is. We are lucky to know him.
I absolutely trust him and I would recommend him to anyone.
Also his prices are very reasonable compared to the place I used to go.

Great experience! I just had my car serviced at John Jay Automotive for the first time. Scheduling was easy, the repair was done right and the price was much better than what I'd been quoted by others. Most importantly I trusted the guy. Not something I can say about the dealer or other shops I've tried. I'll be back. It's a small shop and a relatively new business. He came recommended by a trusted co-worker. Worth trying for your next service or repair.

EXCELLENT! We just brought our vehicle in for the first time. Scheduling was easy - he was even able to get us in the next morning. The price was fair (much lower than the dealership estimate). The owner was very personable. Hopefully we won't need to be back for a while, but when we do need repairs, we know where we'll take our vehicles. We will highly recommend this shop to all of our friends and family!

John Jay Automotive was recommended by Napa Auto parts even though he wasn't one of their car care centers. Jay has done such a great job for me. I first brought my 57 Chevy Belair to him to charge up the Air conditioning. I just don't trust a regular mechanic to touch that car. I have since had him work on my 2002 Honda CRV. He did a timing belt and brake job on my 2003 Tundra. Now I have the 57 back in his shop to turn the rear rotors, change out the exhaust. He even found some issues that I didn't ask him to look at and corrected them very easily. Recently he worked on my 68 442 charging up the AC. I can't tell you enough how pleased I am with his and the shops work. I didn't know Jay from Adam, before Napa recommended him and I am sure glad they did. Just an honest family man taking care of business. The shop is professional and clean. A true professional.

We've used Husbands from time to time for mainly oil changes as the pricing was always fair and the service was fast. Recently my wife needed to have Fender Liners and Engine Liner Cover installed. I took the car to an auto-body shop thinking they would be the best choice. They wanted 3 times the amount for the same work that was completed at Husbands. They do free auto checks. I brought in a tundra I was going to buy from a dealer.. thank god I brought it to husbands because it really helped me out with my purchasing decision. the guy I talked to was really nice and helpful. I will be coming back here!
