Went in for an emissions test the other day, shop was extremely busy. But I was greeted almost immediately by a young man named Rick. He did the emissions test in about 2 minutes. Handed my paperwork, explained everything. Then took the time to answer some questions I had about another vehicle of mine, he even gave me an estimate for some work that I have been putting off. This kid really made my day with his fast professional and overall courteous service. I will be back. And I will be sending friends and family to R&R Automotive from now on.

The mechanic here is excellent...

The mechanic here is excellent. He really knows his stuff. The customer service here is poor. They solved two problems I had that 4 other mechanics even the expensive mechanic, could not figure out,. One problem was for the emmissions and while the problem adventually came back I go there if I don't pass and they get me passed. The other problem was my car would just die on me when I was driving. Very danerous and intermittent. He figured out what it was (Fuel Pump) even though it wouldn't show up on any of the diagnostic machines at any of the repair shops. It has been running without a problem now for over a year and a half. Saved us from buying a new car.

Horrible Customer Service- Not Helpful AT ALL

I brought my car here because it was so close to my house and very convenient. I called the day before my car went in to see when they would be able to look at it, and I was assured that it would be looked at at 8am the next morning if I dropped it off the night before. It wasn't looked at until the middle of the afternoon 2 days later. Everytime I called they told me mine was the car to go in the shop, that they had been too busy to look at my car, that they would stay late and look at it, and then again that it would be looked at first thing in the morning. When they finally did look at my car, they didn't even call me to tell me what was going on. It wasn't until I called 20 minutes before they closed that they told me I had to take my car somewhere else because they don't work on transmissions and I would have to take my car elsewhere. The reason my car was originally put in the shop was because it was having problems starting and hadn't started correctly in 3 weeks- they proceeded to tell me they didn't notice anything wrong with it starting on any of the test drives they took it on. When I picked my car up, not only did it have problems starting like I knew it would...but the miles on my car were identical to when I dropped it off. They never took my car on any test drives and never diagnosed the problems that I brought it in for. I will never go back here, and would not recommend it to anyone.

I'm not sure where the state of the art diagnostic equipment is, or techs to use it properly. I'm down $650, 3 visits, and held my car two weeks combined.. The issues still aren't fixed, and their response? A $750 estimate on other parts and a shot in dark. But I've got a warranty on new parts they installed to not fix the issue.

I've had major work done on my 2000 Blazer, and minor stuff done, like oil changes and new tires for my 2014 Corolla, and have had great service. When I took my blazer in, they were good to call me before starting to work on it, explaining what was wrong with it and quoting me a price. One time my dad was visiting me from out of town, and his van broke down. I did not hesitate to recommend R&R to him, they did not let me down. My dad was very pleased with the service and for being able to fit him in with his emergency.Another time my son took his Jetta in, and they were honest with him and told them they were unable to help him, and recommend someone that could. I will continue to use R&R and to recommend them to others.

I had work done here a year ago a new starter. A week later the car would not start and they blamed it on the ignition switch so I had to have it towed to the dealer. The dealer found that they miss wired the started and shorted it out so R&R needed to replace it. Now one year later I need another new starter!!! Not taking it here EVER off to the dealer for me! A starter should last more than a year!!! Poor work and poor quality.

Last week my Aunt took a car in to get the speedometer fixed on a 2005 car. In order for the speedometer to be fixed, the whole dashboard area that involves the gas gage & car thermostat had to be replaced. My Aunt talked to the guy at the shop. She was given the choice of a new or used core and dashboard system. She went with the used version, not asking or realizing there was not any warranty attached. The used parts and labor came to just over $230.
When we got the car back the speedometer was working, however, the light bulb behind the gas gage was burnt out, and the thermostat was not functioning. My Aunt called the guy about five days later to alert him of the new issues, and he quoted her a new price of over $350 to have a new console put in. He said he would give a deal and only charge $35 for labor. They did NOT refund or credit my Aunt the original $230.
This company does not seem to have any quality control.
