Not sure how you got water in your transmission but it was there and my staff showed you, and that does void our warranty. Water in your transmission will cause friction material on clutch plates to come off the steel plate that they are adhered to. You understood when we showed you and you declined to have us repair the damage do to the water . Not sure why you would write this review???? Hope you get thing's worked out JIm Reap owner..

don't go to them I had my transmission done and it didn't shift right after ,they wanted me to bring it in but I couldn't because I had motor problems and had to rebuild it. i brought it in when I got the transmission out of the truck and they said it had water in it and that voided the warranty but they could fix it for 875.00 bucks cash. They told me that water could have gotten into it from the radiator or a blown head gasket. they also told me to get all the fluid out of the torque converter so I put it over a 5 gallon bucket to drain and when I checked it the next day there was no water mixed in with the fluid like they claimed there was now im sitting here with a big paper weight

My 1996 Lexus GS300 transmission went caput on Extension and Main around 515pm after work on my way home. A good samaritan pulled over (in 110+ heat!!!) and hooked his truck up to my car and offered to tow me somewhere. Shift Right Transmission was the closest transmission repair shop I could find online, but the closing time was 5pm. Hoping by some chance they were still open, I called. Doug answered the phone and told me to come on over.
I dropped my car off and they took a look at my car. I needed a transmission rebuild and I asked for them to send me the quote. I got a couple friends who worked for other shops to give me their feedback on pricing and they said the quote was very fair. I had just had an A/C repair done to my house (yay Arizona) so financially I was not in a good place. Doug worked on the pricing a little bit and knocked the repairs down about 10%. I appreciated him working with me on that.
After I gave him the green light to fix my car it was ready in a couple days. They offer a 10-day courtesy check to make sure everything's still running well. It's been about a month since i had the repair done so I can't speak to the longevity of the repair, but I did appreciate the great service I received.

To the shift right transmission in west mesa off Broadway and Alma school very impressed
I have a 93 lexus ls400 my transmission recently went out, now I physically went to about 11 transmission places and the quotes were all bout the same between 2,500-3,000 witch wasn't the issue, I love my car so it was worth the expense. I was referred to them by jmj auto, I spoke to a gentleman by the name of doug he listened to what I had to say what was going on about my car and recommend that he run a dynogstics check first to see maybe it's just a simple part that needs to be replaced( mind that no other place offered such every one else without seeing the car automatically said trans is shot 2,500-3,000 ) this gentleman doug did the exact opposite he even had my car towed for me and I live in far east mesa. The customer service alone sold me witch is why they got my business. After running the test turns out my trans was shot witch i figured as much but his quotes were fair and he said he'd call at a certain time and he did. Now I don't know if it was doug himself who did the work on my car or sum one else but hats off to both the customer servic end as well as the repair end , they rebuilt my original trans from top to bottom and the car is running as smooth as a baby's ass. They do (not) try and rip you off in fact if they can will save you a few bucks or at least try. They got to make a profit after all that's the whole point of being in business right. But they are more than fair and all my future repairs will be going to them . The turn around time was impressive they towed my car Friday after noon got a call by 5pm same day in reguards to the trans. It was a holiday weekend so I knew no repairs we getting done understandingly so, but it was worked on Monday and was done mid afternoon Tuesday. Very impressed from start to finish.if you have car issues I highly recommend the shift right off Broadway and Alma school.

Had my work truck transmission overhauled in February of 2015 by these guys. They also repaired all the leaks in my engine gaskets. They did a great job on repairing the gaskets at least. I had some issues with the transmission so I took it back before the warranty expired so they could check it out. They said there was nothing wrong with the transmission so I went on my way. 15 months, 23,000 miles and over two thousand dollars later I have a truck with a blown transmission and no warranty.

In an industry that is all too often lacking in quality and integrity Shift Right Transmissions stands out like a diamond in the rough. I have used them three times and have been impressed every time. The first time that I took my truck to them I asked them to do some specific work, they reached out to me after they had inspected the vehicle. They let me know that some of what I had requested wasn't necessary there by saving me money at their own expense. That clearly showed me that they value integrity over profit. I would encourage anyone looking for a new auto repair shop to seek them out.

Think twice about using this place! I went in there because my transmission was going into limp mode... after inspecting my transmission they said it definitely needed rebuilt and that was my problem. So after getting it rebuilt 2 days,later the same problem comes back. So they told me it was my ignition switch that is now causing the same original problem. So after spending 1700 on rebuilding my transmission it was only my ignition switch that needed to be replaced and my transmission did not need to be touched.

This is the worst shop I have ever taken my vehicle to. I took it in for an oil leak and have taken it back about 15 times for them to do it and they have still not been able to do it. Keep in mind i have a old square body truck that should not be very hard to work on

All the people here went above and beyond for me..they were very sympathetic to my auto problems and there easy pay financing was just that"easy"I won't bring my vehicle anywhere else.....thank guys Erik gundersen
