I am very particular who I let work on my vehicles. I was referred to Kassel Motorsports from JHM and said that they were a new dealer for them.
I am so glad they told me about Kassel, I didn't even know they moved close to my home a little over a year ago. What a Jewell this shop is, so close and so much detail. I will for sure be back, actually already planning to have them do some more work next week!
If you are looking for a shop that will treat your vehicle right and not give you the run around, stop looking because you should look no further than Kassel Motorsports.

First time customer with no real major car problems, however. I went to the dealership and the up-sale had me at about $1,100 for car repairs that I wasn't sure I needed or wanted. After reading Yelp, went to Kassel. All my car needed was some basic preventive maintenance and walked out the door for under $300.00 on my 2011 BMW. Of course, nobody offered me wi-fi or a coffee, but my car was in & out on time. I will be back with my BMW.

I've been meaning to leave a review on Kassel Motorsports for months now. I first heard of Karl and his team on
after moving to the PNW and looking for a new shop I could trust. Usually I bounce around from shop to shop and generally still don't find one that I can rely on. Kassel is different.
I was excited for the business and also let down, when just a few weeks after my first experience with Kassel, they moved from the Fircrest area to Puyallup. I will continue to take my car to this business even with the drive now.
Karl is very professional and knowledgable with BMW's, as far as I understand he left a 7 year gig as a tech with BMW in Fife to open his own shop, and that experience shows. Unlike the dealership though, Karl is honest. I have had my e46 M3 in for several glitchy electrical issues which he quickly diagnosed accurately in the parking lot before even pulling the car into his shop, and proceeded to fix for an extremely reasonable cost.
He not only is an excellent mechanic but also is an active member of the community with a genuine interest in the machines he makes a living working on. I have seen him out at meets and other BMW events on multiple occasions and he is just as personable there as when I am in his shop bringing business. I am not looking forward to when I must move again and find another reliable mechanic, as I think I have found that one irreplaceable shop where I trust leaving my most valued possession.
My only gripe is that I couldn't bring my car in for a mount/balance and alignment yet because Kassel does not have the facilities. I truly hope, however, that business is strong and Karl can continuing adding to his services.
5 stars plus for Kassel, don't think twice about bringing your european car to him for quality service.

I was met at the door by a friendly braj who knew plenty of junk about the e36 BMW (which is what I also drive.) he was knowledgable and kind and even made me feel a little stupid only because the problem with the car was my fault in the first place! It was a simple fix for them and still cost me $100 to fix my own mistake. But, in the future I will remember these guys if anything comes up that stumps. Nothing but good vibes at the shop

What can I say, Kassel rocks! Carl saved me thousands compared to what BMW would have charged! Smart guys down there that do quality service a t a fair price. BMW would like you to think they are the only ones capable of working on their cars, this simply isn't true!! He is also a good source for parts. I don't plan to go back to BMW for anything!

So I recently bought a used BMW from a private seller, and I knew things were gonna go wrong. I had saved up a bit of money for the repairs but was led astray of the approximate price by friends of mine.
I brought my BMW to Kassel Motorsports after being referred by Karl, and when they quoted me the price of the repairs I wasn't prepared for it by a couple hundred bucks. They explained to me what all they were fixing and I understood the price, which was still very reasonable, unfortunately I just didn't have the funds. The patiently listened to me and we figured out a way to make it work; sacrificing one small repair which I could live with.
Well a couple days later I got a call from them saying my car was ready and they were able to find a way to fix everything I had asked of them within my budget.
Karl and Randal were amazing in customer service and I cannot thank them enough for helping me out and bringing my BMW up to speed at a reasonable cost. I will definitely be a returning customer and highly recommend Karl and his team to all euro owners and enthusiasts. You won't be disappointed.

Best service experience ever! I will always take my business here.let me share my story. I bought a used 2003 325xi 5 speed that needed some work.took my bmw to a shop in tacoma that specializes in bmw repair, that didnt go so well, even though I had them do the work, I was left feeling ripped off. The car still needed work and I figured I rather pay dealer costs and know they are doing good work rather than what I just went through. So I took it to bmw of fife, they come back and tell me I need a new clutch, this,that and the other. They wanted like 6k! I said, well it will have to wait. Then a customer of mine comes in and refers me to kassle, I took it down there and they took it in right away on a friday afternoon, I told him I was in a time crunch and needed it back asap, he said that wont be a problem, he said he would work on it during the weekend.they it got done promptly and at very low cost. They did a very good job on helping me understand the issues and made me feel good about the whole experience. NOW THE BEST PART!!! I did not need a clutch like bmw of fife said.i was so happy to hear that! I cant ever say I have ever had such a good experience with a repair shop or the staff ever! Hands downs best auto repair shop around! I tell everyone I meet to take their bmw to kassle. On another note I ran into the previous owner and he said his dads rv dealership replaced the clutch. I wonder what I paid for from bmw fife.

I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. I have been familiar with the shop and the owner for a few years now and they do amazing things. Not only that, but you don't have to pay ridiculous dealership prices. Just out of curiosity, I got a quote from the BMW dealer for the work I was having done here, and they had quotes me 2.5x the price. Why take my car to the dealer when I can get a guarantee and better quality work here? Or anywhere else?

Bottom line up front: if you're taking your German auto anywhere else, you're doing it all wrong! ...and you're probably paying twice as much & getting half the craftsmanship & customer service than you would get from Karl at Kassel Motorsports.
I could talk about how awesome my first experience was at Kassel all day, but I'll try to stick to the highlights:
-Found Kassel on yelp and sent an email requesting info & a quote for valve timing/adjustment on my 2005 M3. Karl responded immediately while 3 other Indy shops in the area took 2-7 days to respond & his quote was literally less than half the price of the others.
-Was able to get my car in right away.
-Karl's rigorous 1000 point inspection (ok, exaggerated a little) turned up several minor issues that needed addressing, but he didn't get all used-car-salesman-pushy on me...he just let me know what he found.
-One of the issues he found was that I needed new brakes, including rotors. At first I was skeptical about needing rotors, but he showed me indeed that they were beyond limits...and then proceeded to tell me, "dude if you've done headers yourself on this car, you could do brakes easily." Talk about integrity!!!
-He has connections in the local area for dyno runs.
-He does custom work & aftermarket/performance sales/installs
-When the job took longer than anticipated (which was actually my fault because I requested he relocate my O2 sensors which ended up being way more labor-intensive than I had led on), he discounted my oil change.
Finding a guy you trust to take care of your car as if it were his own in the automotive industry is just unheard of, but Karl & the Kassel team do just that. I rue the day the military moves me out of this area cuz I'm pretty sure I'll never find a guy as honest & enthusiastic about German cars.

His knowledge and that of his team is second to none. I am a confirmed LIFE LONG CUSTOMER of Kassel Motorsports. Happy New Year To Karl and the Kassel Team. January 5th 2016, I heard a grinding noise in my rear brakes, I had anticipated an expensive repair and a full day in the shop. I contacted the shop and was happy to learn that the problem was due to couple of Calliper clips and it was Diagnosed and repaired within an hour.
