I found this place off yelp and needed an oil change and tire rotation. Called the guy immediately and he said I could bring it in the next day at 7:30 AM, which was convenient for me because I could drop off my car and then walk to work, then come and get my car at lunch.
The job was fixed fast and he changed a number of filters that Longo Lexus missed despite charging me $200 for an oil change and tire rototation WITH THE EMPLOYEE discount!
Be sure to give this place a chance. I do not regret it.

This was the best experience I've ever had getting work done on my car.
I took my '91 BMW in a while back, and Ed took care of my car perfectly. I got my car back exactly when he said I would, he would call me with progress updates throughout the job, gave great advice, and was always very respectful of my time and decisions. He went above and beyond to help me out.
To top it all off he gave me an amazing deal! I've been so used to dealing with mechanics that are the complete opposite, so I'm very excited to have Ed's Auto Clinic to use for my future car needs.

Ed's Auto Clinic is a great place to go if you have any car issues. I first went there when I bought some new wheels off
a few months back and have only gone here since. Ed is really personable and tells you want you actually need done instead of up-selling. Just had my AC fixed because the compressor was leaking. Instead of selling me a whole new compressor, it just needed a small fix up kit for new sealings. Trust worthy and honest. Highly recommend.

and had shipped to Ed's directly. I made an appointment, showed up on time, and they installed the tires and aligned my car in the promised 2 hours at the agreed upon price.
The shop looked professional, it was orderly, and Ed was cordial.

I really appreciate the service I get at Ed's Auto. I've been here twice now and I can truly believe what they tell me. They're honest about what needs replacing or fixing in my car (or how long I can go before swapping parts out).
I'd highly recommend this place. While they are a little on the pricier end of auto shops, I know I'm getting solid service and solid parts for the price I'm paying so I don't mind.

It's official, Ed's Auto Clinic in Arcadia, CA is the only place I will take my car for service. I had rear shocks installed and engine gaskets replaced. They did an awesome job! My car is riding smooth! I had brakes done there too. Their work is quality and the prices are perfect for my budget. I highly recommend Ed's Auto Clinic!

Met with Ed at the auto shop. Gave me pricing that was half of what the dealership was going to charge. I thought everything was good when I waited for the car to be finished but Ed pointed out that I actually did not need to do one of the things the dealer asked me to do. instead all I had to do was replace a small O ring and that fixed the problem. Saved me a good $300. Great mechanic and great service and deal. will definitely be coming back.

These guys are great! My whole family brings our vehicles to Ed for oil changes, transmission problems, you name it. Always always always pleasant, professional and HONEST. Told me that my radiator did not need to be replaced now, but should be done soon. Made it possible to plan for that. Also squeezed me in for a Saturday morning oil change when I called an hour ahead. Really excellent service all the way around. Just sad to be living out of the area now.

My tire was low on air stopped here to see if it were a flat tire BC it is closest to my work. Even thought they were closing down Ed helped me fix the tire and replaced the air gauge that was bad. How nice is it get helped even if it took 30 minutes of his time after closing. And all for a very reasonable price! I work in the area so I will defiantly be returning. Thank you!

Ed saved my bacon! I was visiting from NorCal for 24 hours and was referred to Ed by another shop that could not take me in on short notice. My car was overheating coming over the grapevine and I couldn't drive back without resolving the problem. Ed took a look at my car without an appointment, diagnosed the problem, and resolved the issue within an hour and probably saved me the expense of a major engine repair if he hadn't. The problem was minor but just the willingness to take me in on a Friday afternoon understanding my situation speaks volumes to Ed's commitment to customer service. I obviously won't be a regular customer but I highly recommend this shop for that reason alone.

Normally great service is a one-time thing. They get your business and that's pretty much it. Not here. I'm happy to say that Ed's Auto Clinic is still the best auto repair shop. They worked with me, fixed my issues in a timely manner, and did things to help me that I have never seen done anywhere else. All of this with out making me feel like I was imposing. Ed is an awesome guy and his team are outstanding. I'm looking forward to coming back here when I need an issue fixed because I know they're gonna make me feel welcome and like part of the family.

I have been to Ed's twice once with my Audi and once with my Mazda. Both times he was efficient and helpful. He even gave us a ride home when it was going to take some time to get the new tires and mount them and we did not want to wait, but he got the tires within an hour and we came back later to pick up the car. He spent time with us making sure we got the right tires for the Audi. The Mazda was just a road hazard tire repair but that went smoothly as well. I would recommend him and would go there again.

Been coming to Ed for about 6 months now. Friendly, reliable, pretty fast, does what he says. Prices are competitive. I dropped off my car on a Friday morning with an obvious problem in either the fuel system or ignition system. Had it by noon, ready to roll. He also provides a courtesy shuttle, too.

We were traveling on the freeway to Santa Barbara when our engine light came on and the needle was in the red. We quickly pulled off the freeway and realized our radiator hose had broken. AAA (which by the way the tow truck driver was AWESOME!) towed our car to Ed's Auto Clinic. Not only was Ed able to fully diagnose the problem he was able to obtain all the necessary parts ,repair, and we were back on the road in less than 2 hours. Quick and honest service and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Ed's Auto Clinic. If I lived closer I would bring my BMW to him for all repairs.

They claim to be first come first serve, but that was hardly the case today. I showed up @ 10:00 AM this morning to get two 15" tires mounted on a couple rims for my miata. The rims and tires were not even on the car, i brought them in with my Jeep. He charges $15 per wheel for mount and balance, which is about right for a tire shop. I don't complain and am willing to give business to local people like himself, I live in Arcadia myself.
So there are only two mechanic's on duty Ed and David, a couple cars on the lifts and I show up with 2 tires to be dismounted and remounted/balanced. It literally took 45 minutes for him to accomplish this. During the time I was there I stood outside to watch and make sure everything was done to my likely and during that time 3 different customers showed up while i was waiting for my tires to be balanced. EVERY single time another customer showed up he dropped everything he was doing to help them (keep in mind it was first come first serve). This job should have taken 20-25 minutes tops, but I have no idea how he drug it out so damn long.
Another thing that I'm sorely disappointed in is the way he mounted my tire weights. Over the years tires that get mounted and dismounted get the sticky stuff on the inside of the rim and carb cleaner or some other gum remover can take care of it. But that was good enough for Ed I guess, he proceeded to take out a air gun with a wire wheel attachment to it and grind on the inside of my rims to try and get the goop off. In the process he ground the paint off the backside of rim's spokes....pardon my french but WHO THE FUCK DOES THAT? I don't care what kind of rim it is or what its being used for, no mechanic damages a customer rim while trying to take gum off the inside of their rim, especially if they are standing right in front of them. what the fuck was he thinking ?
I've been to his shop twice, and that was twice too many times. I probably will never go back and never recommend it to anyone I know. I might even make it a personal grudge to never refer any there.
**Responding to your safety concern about the wheel weight. I understand cleaning the inside of the wheel so that it sticks is an issue, but you used the wrong damn wire brush, you weren't using a wire wheel, you used a conical wire wheel which was the wrong tool for the job and scuffed the paint off the backside of my wheels.**

Great team of experts with excellent service. This is our one stop shop for our family cars ever since they opened! What I like about them is that they provide dependable service for all 4 of our cars. Great hospitality and always honest service with affordable cost.
