Lies Lies Lies. Claims to be a Christian on his website. Said he would have my car back to me in 2 to 3 days. Said he would only charge me $680 for a full rebuild. Took my car to him, he had my car for 3 weeks. By far one of the worst shops I've ever been too. Takes forever, and the job isn't even done correctly. Bolts missing everywhere, parts replaced when i did not even ask him to do so, clamps gone and trashes your car to pieces. My transmission was still leaking and didn't follow through on his warranty. Charged me $1700 and i had to pay AAMCO $450 to actually repair correctly. NEVER EVER EVER go here. Terry P. Ackerman is a liar. Oh and he gets his druggie friends to post great reviews for him.

Paul sent a wrecker 2:00 in the morning to get me and my grandbabys fixed my transmisión in two days fixed it cheep i didnt have all the money he still let me take my car my debt didnt work at the motel he paid for the two nights when i got back home i paid him back my car is still working great i wish there were more people like Paul around ill never forget what he did for us.god bless you Paul.

Can't say enough about Terry and AAA Transmission Masters. What started out to be a terrible night stranded on the side of the road turned into me being home with a fixed car. You rarely find someone that knows his trade perfectly, does outstanding work, and treats people right. I will drive 65 miles to him next time I need anything done. Thank you.

Driving from Nashville to New York, my 1991 Ford Ranger only made it to Knoxville before breaking down. I was kicking myself since I knew I should have replaced the clutch before I left. I called around and Terry at AAA Transmission Masters gave me one of the best prices, and over the phone seemed like a very genuine person, so I had my truck towed there. My intuition was right. Terry is awesome and if I lived in Knoxville he would be my go to mechanic. It is hard to find a trustworthy mechanic, but Terry is definitely one of them. Knowing that I was stranded, he fit me in right away and I was on the road again in no time. The clutch feels great and the truck has made it at least 1000 miles since he replaced it a week or so ago with no problems whatsoever, and at a really fair price. My truck is finally fun to drive again. Thank you Terry for all of your help and getting Julia and I to NY!

I highly reccomend Terry. He gave us the best experience we have ever had at a shop. Definitely a trustworthy man. We went in with a slipping transmission and we walked out paying 15 bucks and with it working great and im telling you it drove so bad he could of sold me on a new transmission. AND He went above and beyond and helped us with the engine also for no charge. If you are having transmission problems, Im telling you, the worst mistake you could make is NOT going to Terry!

When I finally find a locally owned business that treat people right, I do all that I can to let everyone know. Terry at AAA Transmission Repair Masters are the best; needed an emergency tow after normal business hours and fully expecting to have to leave my vehicle in a tow yard overnight. Not only did I find out they are open until 10:00, but he took my vehicle in and put it on the rack as soon as the tow truck dropped it off. He walked to Autozone with me to get the right part, and then drove it around after it was fixed to make sure it was going to be ok. Terry is honest, dependable, and extremely knowledgeable about Transmissions - found out while talking to him that he's been doing this most of his life - and watching him fix my vehicle, it's obvious. I'm convinced the one bad review is from a competitor. Look no further, you will be treated right at AAA Transmission Masters.
