I've been taking my cars to Avant's for years. I know that they will deal with me honestly and keep me on the road. The entire staff has a level of integrity that is hard to match, and their prices don't break the bank. Seriously, I wouldn't take my cars anywhere else...and I don't.

I was looking for a garage with an honest reputation. They checked my car`s battery and told me that it was working correctly. They also explained to me that when a car has not been used for a month it was common that the battery had to be "recharged". They did not try to sell me anything. Great service. The only mechanic

I have been going to Lonnie for 20 years. I trust him like my doctor because through a dozen cars he has always been honest, dependable and fair. He has a lot of long term repeat customers and the shop is always busy, but if you have to wait, it's worth it.

I was very impressed and appreciative of the way Lonnie and his employees took care of me and my car. They are extremely honest. They told me exactly what repairs were required and did not attempt to "add on" with unnecessary repairs. Lonnie explained things in a manner that I could understand. Lonnie and his employees are honest, reliable and I would not hesitate to recommend Avant's Automotive Repair to my friends and relatives.

I have been using Avant's Auto Repair for years now. I do not trust anyone else with my car. I always get a great price for my repairs and the service has always been pretty fast. My mother & stepdad now have been using their service as well. They used to go to the dealership that would jack up the repair cost to an outrageous amount. But Lonnie Avant is honest and cares about his customers. He quotes fair prices and you feel safe leaving your car knowing that SOMETHING ELSE won't be wrong after they return it to you.

After seeing they were a associated with AAA, I figured they were close to me and thinking they would be my mechanics but I went there twice with a question at intervals of a few years and the first time I believe I asked the owner a question and he seemed that he was brushing me off which was not warranted. The second time I was probably needing front brakes soon and stopped there and asked for a price, they were about one hundred dollars more then anyone else for just front brake pads on a Honda Accord, so after that I just signed off of them and found not one but two nice and good mechanics.

Best mechanic in the South Boca/Deerfield area.
Avant's -- while not necessarily the cheapest auto repair shop -- features some of the most knowledgeable mechanics in the South Boca/Deerfield area. They are extremely thorough and do a great job diagnosing your vehicle. You can expect a lot of attention from Lonnie and his team, and they will give you an honest opinion of your vehicle and its priorities.

Was in a bind after getting ripped off repeatedly by mechanics at Goodyear (on federal hwy, 1 mile from these guys) and my problems still hadn't been fixed. I needed work down quickly as I was heading for a roadtrip to Chicago the next day, and the guys at goodyear kept telling me I had various problems with my car and quoting me for prices $1000-2000. After paying them 700-800 at Goodyear and my main problem was still not fixed, I decided it was time to find a reliable set of mechanics and thank goodness I fount Avant's repair shop. They gave me honest answers and fixed my car for about 1/5th of what the other place wanted. I really trust these guys and talking to them while waiting, all of them were really really good dudes. Needless to say, I made my roadtrip up to chicago without problems, and I owe it to these guys. I recommend going here. Even though it is a small shop, they will treat you right and do you well.

Fast, professional, polite, and most of all, HONEST! They found the problem and fixed it in 45 minutes- and we even got to watch. Oh, and the best part? All for $65! I live in Georgia and was doing work in Florida. I had a problem with my car and thought I was going to need a new transmission. Well rolled the dice and took my car to Avant's Automotive. This guy Lonnie that worked there could see the stress I was under and was able to calm me down. He checked out the car and let me know it was only a seal that needed to be replace. He fixed the problem for a great price and I was able to finish my work. Thank you Lonnie.

This garage is great! My air conditioning wasn't working, and they were able to fix the problem in under an hour. They explained the issue clearly, and didn't try to gouge me like other garages might have. I will definitely use them in the future!

I had to get my car aligned and I knew nothing about cars so my Dad suggested coming here. He's come here for a couple things before so I thought they were trustworthy. It was not a long wait and before I knew it they were done. Fast service and it was also affordable too. Hopefully I don't need any other work done to my car, but I know I can trust Avant with my car.
