This man knows his way around any make and model of vehicle. I've never seen something stand in his way of not getting done. As a mechanic myself, I highly recommend people stop going to these places that say they are the best....because what you've been hoping for in a good mechanic shop is here.

Had to replace two o2 sensors and spark plugs. Pep Boys itemized everything, attaching labor costs each step of the way to come to a $770 total cost. Called this place and the guy walked me through the pricing, even bringing me to his supplier site to show how Pep Boys came to their prices.
He knocked off the labor costs of a couple things simply because he was already working in a similar area and charged me only half for the sensors. Came to $450.
Fantastic experience.

At one time they were a good shop. Today, they charged us over 200 more than they quoted us for services that were never mentioned or authorized.
Long story short, I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

I've been back a few times now and Leo has never been there again. His mechanics and front desk employees almost have no customer service skills and don't understand the concept of taking responsibility for their mistakes. Three times since Leo I have been given a quote that goes up by hundreds by the time they are done. I understand quotes change, and it wouldn't be such a problem if when I call to get the actual amount I need to pay they gave me the right number, because twice now I've called in and gotten one number and then I go in and the total is even higher and they won't listen to what I'm saying and refuse to change the price or even call the person I talked to. This last time I spent $75 of the $720 for them to look for an hour and not find anything wrong, so they wanted another $75 to keep looking. When I went in originally I asked if the $75 diagnostic fee covered all the labor it would take until they found the problem and the guy said yes! It's like every employee knows different rules, it's ridiculous. I had such a good outcome with Leo that I kept going back and trying but I won't be going back again. $720 to get an air compressor replaced and to be told they couldn't find out why my keyless entry wasn't working anymore. They charged me $75 more than what the girl told me over the phone because she had forgotten to put in the AC recharge in my total but the guy at the desk refused to say they did anything wrong or that they could lower the price at all. My friends that work at various shops around town were so pissed when I told them that they tried to charge me more so they could keep looking for the problem, they all said the diagnostic fee covers everything until they find the problem where they work. Never again.

We had problems with a faulty part and Leo took care of it.
Fair and honest, hard to find that Quality in a mechanics shop.

I needed an oil change and tire rotation on a road trip. I took it to Walmart in T or C only to discover they hadn't even pulled the car in after a full hour (they promised it would be done in an hour or less). The next day I called Advanced Auto at 8am and explained I could be there at 10 but had only a one hour window to complete the job. When I arrived to the shop (which is clean and pleasant, and allowed my dog to come inside) they had everything ready to go for me. There wasn't an open bay so they jacked the car up outside and had one guy doing the oil and the other doing the tire rotation. They finished the job with ten minutes to spare and even checked the brakes and tire pressure. I paid only $32, which is cheaper than any shop I've encountered. I was hesitant to rely on only two yelp reviews, but I'm glad I did. Truly excellent customer service. Thank you!

Another. terrible dishonest shop in Las Cruces. Long story short they charged me for taking my car to the dealership to get fixed. Not only was this without my permission or knowledge but it did not fix my problem. I could have used the money they charged to fix the real problem which I ended up diagnosing myself. These guys are in the business of intimidation. Don't take your car here!

Dropped car off with them because it was overheating and an engine light was on. After two weeks, and a list of replacements, and a request to check the A/C while they were in there, I picked the car up, got 2-3 miles down the road and the engine light came back on. Took it immediately back, and was told that the O2 sensor was slow to respond. They cleared the code and told me if it came back on to get it checked and if it was the same code, bring it back in. The engine light was back on before we got out of town. Autozone checked the engine on the computer and gave me the code, I sent it to the mechanic and he said it was the same code, bring it in and they would change out the sensor. Made arrangements, took it in, the mechanics re-checked the code and told me it was the thermostat, which was one of the items they replaced, and that it would take at least a couple of hours to get the part and a few more to change it out., but it should be okay to drive until we could get it back in. Made arrangements to drop it off to have the work done on it. Wife drops of the car around 930am , and picked it up at 2pm. The mechanic got out and got into another car, my wife asked if it was ready to go and was told it was. She looked at the dashboard and the engine light was still on. Not having time to mess with it anymore that day she drove it home. Now the A/C isn't working, and the mechanic wants at least a full day to run diagnostics. Originally they had it for two weeks, 3 trips later engine light still on and now A/C which was working before, not now. Not a happy customer.

This is the only place I have had my vehicle serviced while in Las Cruces. I usually go directly to the dealership but when your vehicle needs immediate attention you start to look elsewhere. I originally went to this shop about 8 months ago due to my car overheating during a return trip from El Paso. My car could not run idle even ten minutes without going in the red. After I looked over my vehicle I knew it was the radiator, no drips, fan picked up and my AC stopped working. I called in and they said bring it over, so I did. Within a few minutes he pointed out a puncture in my radiator. Thanks to this shop I was back on the road within 3 hours. For being a walk-in client, I can really appreciate the speed in which they worked. At some other places I've waited an entire day for less. When it came time to get my brakes done, I called around and could not get a deal under $700, and this was what they decide to install. not what brand or model I want. So I considered who would perform the labor if I purchased the parts instead ? So I called in and discovered that THEY DO, and I was so pleased with the price. The next day I dropped off my car in the morning and by mid day I was driving again. I had all new rotors, brakes and pads installed. I also had my brake fluid flushed and new fluid installed. They manage to save me a couple hundred dollars and gained me as a repeat customer for any future work on my vehicle. At the same time, I feel at ease considering I paid for the parts I wanted, not what was cheaper to install. Try them out, or at least call in if your considering having labor performed on your vehicle. You may save some money and find a local garage to return to.

Alright prices but I guess you get what you pay for.... I've taken my vehicle twice to get my air conditioner diagnosed as to why it won't stay on and both times they can't seem to find anything. First time I was told my AC needed a new relay switch which they replaced and 2 days later the AC was not working again. The second time I was told there was just a bad connection from the compressor and some wires and that they had cleaned the wires and tested it and everything works properly. That same day hours after I left AC went out again. Honestly felt like they didn't really even do anything the 2nd time as while I was trying to talk to a worker another one comes in and starts a conversation with him and starts joking about who knows what. I ask why it continues to stop working and they aren't able to answer. I'm not sure these guys are all even ASE certified.
