Let me start off my saying attention to detail and the small things matter to me as a customer. I went to get a tire rotation and state inspection for my 2012 VW Passat,06/29/2016. First thing I do is check the plastic lug nut covers on my wheels and all 20 of them are accounted for. I wait maybe 30 minutes pay for the services and check the covers and find two missing. I inform Steve of the missing covers and he asks his mechanic about them. Mechanic states that they were already missing. Now the reason why I checked in the first place is because these are parts that can easily be misplaced when taken off the wheel. If they were missing in the first place, wouldn't you inform your manager and the customer before performing any work? Steve says to his mechanic to take pictures next time and tells me that he will order them and they will be in Tuesday, today is Wednesday and before I drive across town I called and spoke with a Chad and he informed me that the covers have arrived. When I get there Steve pulls out two grey rounded end covers with dirt/oil all over them. I tell him that those aren't it. He says they will fit. I say sure they may fit but they do not go to my car. He gets up with an attitude and walks to my car. He looks at my covers and clearly sees how mine are black with a flat end and that the ones he has are completely different. He tells me that he ordered them himself. I have been going to this place for years now. Spent thousands on work and would recommend to my family and friends. Thanks to losing two plastic covers and horrible customer service, you have lost my business. Now the public will know. If Lesters actually reads this, you know my information, this is the invoice number of the last service you will ever perform on my cars. #139929. Just mail the two covers to the address you have in your system. I will not spend my time, money, and energy to drive to your shop to pick up the two covers that you lost, mail them.

Fantastic service. My truck driver was broken down in Boerne on a Friday afternoon 3 hours from home, local Dodge dealer unable to help us, Gary at Lester's Automotive was eager to help and put a new fan clutch on our 2014 Dodge haul truck in matter of a couple of hours and had my driver back on the road. Thanks to all the crew at Lesters!

My wife and I were traveling though Boerne, TX and the belt broke on our Jeep. We took it in to Lester's to get fixed. Tim in the office was awesome making us feel at home. Being unfamiliar with the area, he recommended a great restaurant and even drove us to and from. A shout out to our awesome mechanic Robby for fabricating another bracket to mount some after market parts under the hood to get the belt fixed. These guys went above and beyond to help us out! I can't thank them enough for their hospitality. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing to auto get work done.

These guys are the only repair shop I'd ever trust my old van with. Ever. Very professional, very friendly, very efficient, and very fair with their pricing. Lester's is the only reason my old girl is still running, and I can't thank them enough for that.

I usually repair my own cars (30 yrs+) unless I need a specialty tool or something. My car thru a belt and I was unable to get the new or the original belt back on. I called Gary at Lester's and explained my situation and what I needed. He quoted me $50 which I thought was a little high. I agreed to have the car towed to them. The next morning they called and said the car was ready. When I went to pick up the car, to my surprise, the bill was almost $250.00! They did not call me for discussion or authorization of unauthorized additional work. Upon BS about lack of communication between the office and the mechanic they did lower the bill to almost $200.00. They also could not get the new or original belt back on, so they simply put a bigger belt on without explanation. So I had no choice but to pay 4 times the phone quote to get my car back. I feel they took advantage of a seasoned consumer, so be aware.
