I was having car trouble on our day trip and the guys at Valvoline Express car care of Hurst jumped right in and found the problem. I was at such a loss not knowing what I was gonna do this far from home. But the guys here went above and beyond to get us on the road and on our way. Just wanted to thank Chris, who diagnosed and fixed the problem free of charge. Can't think them enough for the help.

I have been to this location three years in a row for oil change and state inspection because it's right down the street from me. Sadly each time they say that their machine for state inspection is down. Seems like they don't want my business. And when I ask how long an oil change will take they give me a bunch of excuses. I'll take my business else where. Not a problem with that.

Doug. My man.
I have a Toyota specific shop on the far far side of town but occasionally I need an oil change close to home.
Enter Doug.
Always fast and friendly. Always professional. He's at the door to check you in and greet you with a smile. They changed my oil and then I had a strut go out and I limped in. I left knowing I'd have my car back asap. I had totally forgot, though, that my cousin had left his car seat in my car and they were leaving town on a Sunday when Doug's was closed. I called the shop after they were closed and Doug answered with a chuckle. Of course he's still there! Come on by and grab your car seat. He hung around until we came by.
He didn't have to answer the phone, I mean they were closed. He didn't have to give us the car seat back. But HE went the extra mile.

Came in on a Saturday morning expecting to have a long wait ahead of me for an oil change. There were about 5 or 6 people in front of me so I figured I may be camping out. To my surprise, Valvoline Express had me out of there in 15 minutes. The service was friendly, and the waiting area was way above par for an oil and lube shop. The best part about the service was that I did not hear an employee tell a single person ahead of me the whole air cabin filter shtick or the "Im surprised your car made it this far without xyz" scare tactic to drum up prices like most of the other local shops. I would definitely recommend this place.

This place was great! I recently moved here and looking for a good place to get an oil change, and the Yelp reviews on this place were really good so I thought I would come here. The techs were thorough and friendly, and showed me how to reset the oil change light on my car (which no service tech anywhere else has ever done before.) It was a little pricey, but I felt like they did a good job and they didn't try to sell me on any extra services.

Doug (the proprietor) and his team are wonderful! My Dodge Caliber had been making a sound not unlike the Tardis. The car had been tuned up elsewhere (that mechanic said the car sounded fine), and recently passed inspection. However, the noise kept getting louder and louder.
Hubby and I are not fan of the "we'll take a look at it for $85" businesses. Last week he took the car to Valvoline for an oil change. Doug got in the car, drove it into the bay and said, "yep! That's an alternator bearing," and told Hubby that Dodge Calibers have shoddy alternators.
He proceeded with the oil change and gave him an estimate for replacing the alternator. He also gave Hubby a mail-in rebate for $20 off the synthetic oil change. We returned Saturday morning to replace the alternator and the work was done that afternoon - and within $15 of the original estimate.
My car sounds like it did when I bought it 4 years ago. Smoooooth. The guys at Valvoline were spot on, and didn't try to sell us any additional services. They're mech

We couldn't be happier with our experience with Doug and his team. He replaced our power steering pump on our vehicle. Finding an honest mechanic is invaluable to someone like myself who is not mechanically inclined. He was honest, did not oversell unnecessary items, and he gave us a good price on the work, staying within his estimate. I will definitely use this shop in the future and recommend it to friends!

My first time going. Went based on reviews. I have a new car that has to have synthetic oil. The technician came in to confirm that I was aware I needed synthetic since it was a higher price. I really appreciated that and they were all courteous.
